Lysandra greeted Lady Terborne with the hug, excited to see the woman was there. That meant that Amrena was there and the night could really begin. At the news to meet Amrena in the hall, Lysandra smiled brightly and nodded. “Thank you for attending Lady Tereborne. It does our family great honor to have your friendship.” She said and her mother turned and saw her friend there. She instantly drew her into conversation, letting Lysandra slip away. She moved through the crowd of people that filed into the Vasiliou home. Most commented on how they could see that for all the grandeur that the family still showed signs of financial hardship. She ignpred the gossip and went straight to the hall. Even though people milled in and out of the hall to the different rooms, Lysandra didn’t look out of place in her soft blue gown. In fact, she almost blended in the background, just the way she liked it. She found Amrena in the hall and pretended to just greet her. “My uncle’s office is upstairs and to the left. Follow me and if you see a servant, I’m drunk and going to lay down. It’s all I can think of that won’t make Uncle think teice.” She said as she maneuvered the room and up the stairs. When they passed servants, Lysandra was careful to pretend to stumble and remark to the servants that she was going to her old room. Most just looked sympathetic as they knew the woman couldn’t hold her alcohol. When they made it to the old oak large set of doors, Lysandra gave a moments pause with a sad look. “This was my father’s office before...well...” She said, smiling softly as she remembered her brother and her were never allowed in the office as children and even to this day she had never set foot in it, only peeled once with Darius when they went looking for their father. “Well let’s go then...” She said softly and pushed the door open. Inside was a rather simple office space as most of the things of value had been sold or thrown in storage. It wasn’t like her Uncle wanted her father’s old things. Even the painted portrait of the family was missing from the mantel. She closed the door quietly behind her before giving the room and unsure look. “Look for any documents or letters from anyone that isn’t from the council. They have to write on that stupid parchment with the seal on the corners so that should help us. I’m sure he hid it somewhere.” She went to a shelf, combing through the book to check to see if he hid something there.

Arena did well to follow and act, even when they crossed a servent she smiled softly and patted her friend's back. Slipping into the office was quick and quiet thankfully. Doing as instructed she combed the desk and the baskets, the floor even, however found something to what she had described tucked into a book by the floor near the desk, placed behind an object. If she were trying to hide something. That would be a good place. Pulling the books put she pulled three papers from each, finding them all sealed in the corners as Lysy had described. "Hey, quickly, here." She whispered to her friend to look at these, feeling adrenaline pumping through her at the find.

Lysandra put back the book she had and went over to Arena. She saw the letters and her eyes brightened as she took one of the letters and peeled it open. She looked it over and decided it was best to share her thoughts when she saw the contents. “This is it...This is a letter from my uncle to Lykos about some deal. It says there are a few others that would be willing to aid Crete in industry here....he was willing to sell my father’s last shares in the port to Lykos and Cyrus’s father was going to offer part of the market place to allow business to enter our ports...” she felt her chest ache, since it was all that they had left of her father. Everything else was gone. “No wonder he wanted to secure that override with the emperor...and why he tried to have Cyrus killed. I don’t even know that Darius was meant to be the target of all this till...” she looked to Amrena and gave a softer look. “My uncle seems to have thought his relations with Anemone were a ploy to resecure Darius’s place within the council.” She said before she pulled another letter, one that looked older. “This...this one’s dated quite a while ago...” she opened it and read it, her eyes widening. “It’s...a signed contract from my uncle to Lykos’s family. They promised him money and support if he took out their competition and gave my father’s industry to them.” She swallowed hard, realizing that this letter was dated back before that awful day...the one when her father was taken from them. She shoved the letters into her dress and gave Amrena a panicked look. “We need to get this information to your father and I’ll send it to Ysold. This could be what we need to get my brother back. And to stop my uncle...that bastard.” She said before pulling Amrena to the door. They had to get away from that area before they were caught by her uncle. This was dangerous, basically a punishable offense of conspiring against a councilman and even framing her brother. It wasn’t the evidence they needed to clear Darius of murder but it was something...

She closed the letters and gave Amrena a panicked look. “We need to get this information to your father and then at least some information to Ysold. This could be what we need to get my brother back. And to stop my uncle...that bastard.” She said before pulling Amrena to the door. They had to get away from that area before they were caught by her uncle. This was dangerous, basically a punishable offense of conspiring against a councilman and even framing her brother. It wasn’t the evidence they needed to clear Darius of murder but it was something. Lysandra was about to open the door when the knob turned on it’s own, opening to the hall before them where her uncle Thaddeus stood. His annoyed look grew darker when he saw Lysandra holding papers in her hand, the youngest Terebourne in tow. He took a step into the room, which drove Lysandra back and into Amrena. Her hand holding the documents drifted back, fumbling them into Amrena’s hands. “When the staff said you fell ill, I was worried about my niece. Till I remembered your room is on the eastern hall, furthest from my study...” He took hold of Lysandra‘s arm, his grip rather firm as he pulled her away from Amrena. “Instead of ill, I find you snooping through my things with the young Terebourne girl. Quite unbecoming of two ladies of court, wouldn’t you say?” He said, before his other hand reached out to Lysandra. “I would be willing to overlook the transgression should my documents be returned to me...” Lysandra stared up at her uncle with wide eyes before she swallowed hard. “N-no.” Her uncle’s eyes narrowed and Lysandra balked back at his anger. “You-you did this to our family. You sold father to those Cretians and sent my brother to his death.” She shouted, making her uncle grit his teeth. She knew he was holding back because Amrena was there, but she knew he wouldn’t let her get away with it long. “Proof? What proof? Lysandra you are my flesh and blood. I could not control the actions of your father nor your brother. What reason would I have to harm them?” He said as if it were strange of her to consider that, especially in front of a witness. Lysandra gave Amrena briefly panicked look before mouthing “go” before she looked back to her uncle. “All for money and control of the estate! We’ve seen the letters! We have the proof and the council will see you hang for treason.” She shouted, fighting against her uncle’s hold, hitting him hard in the chest. The fighting caught him off guard, enough so that he stumbled back a bit and left a space towards the open door. ~~~ Corinna sat behind her desk, her well manicured hand clutching the papers she had requested for her girls to collect. She looked over the assassination contract Lykos had signed, her expression easing to delight. This was just what she needed to prove the brother’s involvement. Now all she needed was the proof of bribery of her assassin. That proof would be pulled from the girl in time for the trial, which was a month or two away. She hadn’t yet heard word from Rome to know if they had been successful in gleaning information from Lykos’s accomplice. But she was ever hopeful.

She glanced over the letters and knew immediatly this was bad, they needed to get this to her father. Shw pursed her lips, pulled Lysandra along to head out quickly since they wouldn't go unnoticed long. Her eyes went wide when the door opened and her jerk of an uncle came in of all people. She rant into Lysandra who hastily handed her documents, she shuffled them into her sleeves. She was a little unsure but knew if the man touched her, he would loose the hand permanently from her father, but she was scared for Lysandra. As she began distracting the man she waited for just thw right time to bolt out the door, and around the hall, kicking the door shut behind her and sprinting, hands holding her dress up to run better, her feet bare as she raced through the halls. She did however decide to put on an act, her mother having couched her well. She barged into the main room where people were, looking out of breath and crying- huffing for breath, looking upset. Her mother immediatly dropped her conversation and went over to her girl with an obvious hustle since it was family. Her father not far from there, a firm scowl on his features that some one dared scare his child here. "Counciler Viassoiu (forgot how to spell it lol) flew into a drunken rage and threaten me, I'm so scared!" She cried, falling into her mother's arms, getting hushed softly her eyes glancing at her husband who looked livid." What happened?" He asked firmly, they were clearly the center of the attention here, a roman always loving a good gossip event. "I was with Lady Lysandra, she was feeling a little drunk so we went to walk it off and he came after us in the hall, I was so scared, I ran- I lost my shoes- father please I'm scared for Lady Lysandra!" She squeaked at the end looking panicked. Menon frowned but got a nod from several other men who went off in the direction Amrena had come running from- they followed the shoe trail and eventually found the door open to the study and both Thaddeous and Lysandra, he wasnt sure of her condition but he made it clear he wasn't happy. "What is the meaning of this?" He stated loudly sounding irate. There with him were other council memebers, as well as staff and other family members, curious- all taking in the details. ~~~~~ When Amerna was ushered out with her mother to hush her, she kept up the theatrics till they left the estate kn the carriage, clearly upset at the events and her mother was being protective. Amerna sniffed after a moment and giggled, producing the scrolls from her sleeves. Her mother chuckled, giving a huff put touched her child's cheek lightly. "I knew you took after me." She joked before they went home and made sure the letter were placed in his office to look over. Amerna went to spend time with her sister who was sitting in the nursery saying her daily prayers to all the gods to bring Darius home to her. She smiled and told her about the event and got a small laughter just she expressed her worry for Lysandra. She stated that father was seeing to that.

The commotion stirred everyone upstairs, much to Lysandra's pleasure and Lord Vasiliou's horror. The small office room was filled with noise and commotion, specifically with Memnon shouting and a few grumbles from the nearby council members that followed. Amrena had done it and gotten away with the documents. Thaddeous took a step back from Lysandra, who looked alarmed and shaking like a leaf. Little did the men know it was shaking from excitement and the fact this had all panned out. Darius had a chance...He could come home... "Lord Tereborne, I was only speaking with my niece and trying to aid her. As she was stumbling around the room with your daughter who took off in a fit of emotion with my--." Thaddeous stammered but stopped himself from mentioning the documents were his. His eyes flicked instead to Cyrus who pushed his way forward to get to Lysandra. Cyrus pulled her away from the stunned and stammering councilman, letting her curl into him as he hugged her to him protectively. "Hardly seems like you're helping, Councilor. My wife is petrified. Your niece or not, she is my wife and I will handle her care." Cyrus snarled, eyes narrowing at the man, who he knew was a garbage person that had screwed over his best friend. Lysandra had already told him of his abuses while she was in his care and Cyrus was more than happy to speak against him now. Thaddeous glared at Cyrus, but simply gave a nod. "Apologies, Councilor. And to you all for ruining the evening. It seems I was a too harsh with the women for trespassing where they shouldn't have been." He stated through gritted teeth before he caught sight of his sister Kallista muscling through the group. "My lords, please, return to the festivities. Lord Tereborne allow me to tend to my brother. I fear stress must have gotten to him with everything our family has suffered." She said pleasantly while allowing Cyrus to leave with Lysandra. "We found it." She whispered to Cyrus as they made their way down the hall to her old room. ~~~ The next day they were able to send off the information to Corinna along with a letter of authenticity by Lord Tereborne. By the time it arrived in the city a month later, Darius was being put on trial. He looked thinner, more exhausted, and was sporting scars along his hands and legs from the hard labor that the prison. Corinna had kept the criminals off of him and Iros and had kept Lykos at bay, but life was still not peachy and was just about survival. The tribunal in Crete sat ready for a conviction of the foreign murderer, Darius could see it in their eyes. But the air of tension in the place faded when Corinna offered up evidence in his support and even Iros's. Documents and statements from both Corinna's confidants that took Lykos's contracts, the testimony of character from Lord Tereborne, and the reveal that Lykos's father had plotted conspiracy before his death to take over the Vasilliou family business that they felt rightfully belonged to them because of Iros's past as a servant in their house. By end of the trial, enough doubt and outrage was created in the court that Lykos was no longer able to hold him there or Iros. Corinna could see the fury in the man's eyes and knew now that she had him. In fact, for crossing her, she certainly would have him soon. By the end of the trial, Corinna had paid off who she needed on the Tribunal and even got the signed contract of release to the Rome courts. Darius and Iros would be free men if the courts back home accepted the evidence against one of their own counselors. After all, Lykos would now be facing incarceration in Crete himself and was arrested by the end of the meeting. By the time she came to find Darius in his cell with his father, the man looked dazed and almost uneasy, as if he didn't believe all that he heard in that room. His uncle...his uncle had framed his father and then Darius, all for the family money.... Corinna ordered the guards to open the cell, her expression brightening as Darius looked up from his hands. "Pack your things boys." Corinna stated, eyes crinkling at the corners as she grinned at them. "You're going home." ~~~~ Ysold hurried along the streets of the residential district, her excitement getting the better of her as she made it to the Tereborne home. She had just received word from Corinna stating that Darius and Iros were being transported back to a jury of their peers to be decided if the evidence found cleared them of all guilt as Roman citizens and instead placed the blame solely on the shoulders of Thaddeus Vasiliou and Lykos. By now, they were perhaps days away from Roman shores and she was sure Anemone wanted the news herself. She asked the servants for permission to enter, seeking out any of the Tereborne that were still at home. She couldn't contain herself and was obviously there with important news so she saw no real argument from the servants.

When a woman they had come to see and know lately came rushing up with what seemed like good news they of course admitted her but was recieved by a maid who looked all worried. "Lady Ysold, I do apologize however it seems that the Lady of the house is not available at this time- either is Lady Anemone. You see- her father received a letter with Informaion regarding an up coming trial- or at least as I had heard it, and it set Lady anemone into a state. " she stated rather flustered like however a yell was heard from further into the house from Helen asking where the maid was with that pain releasing tonic and the water. After a brief second Helen came into the hallway and gave Ysold a smile. "Hello Ysold, I got good news, I'm sure you have as well by your look. Come I told Anemone and I think she is having contractions, I'm not for sure but it's only gotten worse and I've already called for a healer." She stated a bit rushed as she ushered the maid off to gather the things and brought Ysold back with her to Anemone's room. She looked rather uncomfortable as she was posted up in her bed, seemingly groaning as she put a hand on her middle and looked mildly annoyed at the foot of her bed. When she turned to look at Ysold and her mother she looked a little suprised but gave a small sound of pain, her breath sharp on the intake. "Hey- ouch- I hear that Darius and his father are coming home for a final trial...I dont think ths children want to wait to meet your father." Ahe joked but gave an uncomfortable facs. "I also think we were wrong about the time they were conceived." She stated with a bit of mild humor since honestly in the beginning she hadn't been paying attention and she wasn't sure these children were ready but it seemed they were, so maybe they had their timing wrong... •~~°•°~~°•°~~°• Needless to say, most of the night and into the early hours of the morning, she felt miserable, the labor having been painful but even for all the yell and actual cursing she still felt happy for the children to come out. Ysold stated to help, thankfully between the healer, her mother and several maids- it didn't seem like enough hands. When the first child arrived, the healer announced that they had a baby girl- handing the child to Ysold to hold in the swaddled cloth as it seemed the other child wasted no time in wanting to arrive either. Her mother joked about it being another girl as well- however the healer stated it was proudly a boy- and he had quite a set of lungs. For as soon as his lungs were clear, he belted a screaming cry to show he wasn't happy. Anemone was a mess but both helen and Ysold helped care for the children, both having been mothers until Anemone was able to become more self aware again. The maids helped change the bed sheets and clean the poor woman off, a lot of blood and after birth to handle, especially with twins. Helen eventually called her husband and Amerna into the room once Anemone was dressed properly and covered, looking uncomfortable but her large belly gone, it seemed odd after seeing it for months. She had a child in each arm and she was sobbing of course with how happy she was. Her father seemed pleased to she was okay, and so were the children but he was worried about the trial still, not that he would let that ruin his elation to having more of a family to love. Helen went to tell Kalista over at Cyrua's estate, asking them to visit tomorrow afternoon once Anemone had a chance to rest. Ysold thankfully helped her learn to breast feed the children, when going as far to called Ysold a blessing when she needed one child held since the two seemed well developed and had pretty blue eyes- just like Darius. She seemed very pleased with that fact but she was happy for both of them equally as she was for Darius to be coming home and that he would be able to hold not only her but both of their children. "Ysold, thank you. For everything." Shs stated softly with a tired smile as the sun was barely up and she had stayed the night though to help. "Gods, I'm so tired." She stated sounding half asleep already before looking out the window, looking like she might nod off. Helen came in however and took the other child from the sleeping woman. She ushered Ysold out of the room with the boy and smiled at her. "So much excitement much have set her off, the children both look healthy however so I'm not worried. I wonder what they will name the children? " she asked more to herself as she seemed to be just enjoying being a mother again. They went to the nursery to put the children to rest as they seemed just as tired. Babies : pin.it/6oTe6FQ

The last thing Ysold expected was the excitement she got, but she was more than happy to be swept up into the happy chaos. Anemone's labor was intense as it should have been with two lives to bring into this world. Anemone handled it all like a champ, even if her language got colorful when the girl was born. By the time the boy arrived, she was obviously exhausted and Ysold was there to help where her father, mother, maids, and sister weren't able to. Ysold was grateful for the opportunity to see her friends children into the world, marveling at how they favored Anemone's beauty and their father's eyes. She was thoroughly in love with the little ones by the time Anemone needed her rest and Helen ushered her out with the girl. The statement made Ysold grin, cooing soft compliments to the sweet girl resting in her arms. "I'm glad I was here to help...I hadn't expected it honestly. But what better timing than when there is a real chance their father will be home..." She gave a kiss to the young ones head before setting her down in the crib. "Lady Tereborne...Do you believe your husband can be convinced to let Darius be a part of their lives? I understand the repercussions of it all...But I'm sure if he's released the first person he would come to find is Anemone. He only has to have the Roman courts sign off and agree to the findings of the Cretian courts and for his uncle to be charged... I'm sure Kallista will do her part in speaking with him as she was all a twitter when i told her he had been acquitted of his crimes--well after she fainted at hearing her husband was coming back." Ysold asked quietly to Helen since she was sure in the chaos of visiting tomorrow she would hardly have time to speak to the woman.

As Helen made sure the boy was tucked in and looked to see if the cradle was firmly there, just triple checking of course, she heard Ysold speak. She turned to look over her shoulder to see Ysold. When asked a very good question she looked humored. "Indeed he can be. He has already decided to take Darius in as a prospect foe the head of house. He will be working. Long while with Memnon however to earn it fully and learn the trade, can't have a child leading the trades." She stated as a joke since that would be bad. "Anemone has requested if she is able to to go to his trail, she wanted to see him. I'm sure the children will be here with the staff, but she wont stray for long I'm sure." She stated since what mother left their children for longer then maybe a few hours willingly? Shw gave a small sigh however before motioning Ysold form the room so she children could sleep as well. As they went out into the hall she relaxed a bit. Lysandra and her husband will be visiting this afternoon, I assumed Helena would come along? And I don't doubt that Kallista will be here either, first grand babies in the family, well actual babies we knew about at the time." She stated since technically Helena was Kallista-grandchild through her daughters' husband. She wasnt out to fault the child but include her so she mentioned it. She chuckled lightly and went to go reat since she had been busy all night. They got a carriage for Ysold to go home since no doubt the woman was exhausted as well and wanted to see her child.

The afternoon came quicker than Ysold expected, especially since she had been up the night before. She thankfully was allowing Helena to stay with her father and Lysandra that day, as she never left her unattended. By the time she received word that the others were going to visit, Ysold was up from her nap so she could be sure to keep an eye on Helena. The crowd arrived at the home later in the day, Cyrus looking curious and excited, even if it paled in comparison to Lysandra and Kallista. The women looked like they radiated pure energy as they had plenty of good news to celebrate. The babies were the cute news to attend to. "Ah Helen, dear congratulations. I hardly expected us to be here today. Celebrating the birth of children together." Kallista stated, a smile on her face as she pined to see the little boy in Helen's arms. Lysandra stuck close to Cyrus, scolding him about what he could and couldn't say about the children. A new mother was bound to be sensitive and tired and didn't want to hear his incessant questions. Meanwhile, Ysold kept watch on Helena who instantly went for the door to Anemone's room where she was surely still on bed rest after the night she had. Helena ran to the bed side, peeking up over it to see the babies there. "Anemone--mommy said you're now a mommy. I wanna see." She said with an excited squeal that drew the attention of Lysandra and Ysold. "Helena dear, not so loud." Ysold said with a gentle hand on the girl's head. Lysandra meanwhile gave Anemone a bright smile. "Good afternoon, Anemone. Oh I'm so excited for you. Ah let me see!" She said as she leaned in and saw the little girl and noted the family trait of blue eyes. It brought happy tears to her eyes as she felt herself getting choked up. Cyrus placed a careful arm on her and gave Anemone a grin. "Hey Ane. They are cute little things. Good thing they got their mother's looks." He joked, getting a slap on the arm from Lysandra.

When the visitors arrived, They informed Anemone, to perhaps help her wake up a little. She of course had just finished feeding her little girl, so she was working on making herself decent currently. Helen received everyone and made sure everything was in order, she of course was coddling the little boy since she never had a son. When Kallista seemed ecstatic she happily passed her the baby boy as they talked about finally being able to be a family. She allowed the others to go see Anemone, since the maid said she was up. Anemone looked at the door when Helena came in, more with out knocking a nd looked excited. When Helena wantws to see the baby she patted the bed by her for the girl to climb up and see the baby. Her mother having her son. When Helena got loud and giggled happily she cringed a little but let the girl have her fun. When Lysandra and Cyrus came in she gave them a warm smile as well. However when Lysandra go chocked up just by the child having Darius's eyes she smiled softly. "Would you like to hold her Lysandra? Shes just finished eating and will likely be awake a short bit before a nap." She stated looking like she wanted to give her friend and eventual sister in law a comfort. Her mother soon came in and had the baby boy who seemed fussy at the moment. "He might be hungry, or something, figured it was best bring him back to his mother. " she stated handing the boy to Anemone was gave the baby a soft smile. She gave a small hun in thought but it seemed the baby just wanted to be close to her as he instantly quieted and sat in her arms watching Cyrus. "Well I wanted to say I've been thinking on their names and I've decided. This will be Ferris and that will be Illia. They are currently Terebournes, of course but eventually they can have their proper last name when Darius gets his straightened out." She joked since she knew they would want to hear about what she had planned since usualy it was both parents that gave names but Darius wasn't there to help so she decided.

The crowd gathered in the room with the focus being split between Anemone and babies. Lysandra sat on the corner of the bed and held the little girl, getting into her feelings very quickly when the little one gurgled and cooed at her. "You are going to be beautiful. The pride of Hera." She told the little girl as she admired her. Kallista went to her daughter's side and got a good look at her. "Ah, you favor a Vasiliou. Oh you'll just look divine in our house colors." She teased just in a good mood in general at seeing the children. When Anemone announced the names, Kallista looked up from the child and gave Anemone a gentle look. "Those names sound perfect. And of course we will be rectifying the name. What with Iros and Darius finally returning home...With all the strength of Zeus I pray that the council and emperor will see reason and allow them reprieve..." She said as she gave a nervous sigh to herself. Cyrus meanwhile wanted to keep Anemone's mood high and gave Ferris a smirk. "Ferris, a good strong name. He'll make a fine soldier." He said but that earned him a roll of Lysandra's eyes. "Don't mind him Anemone. He's just mad that Ysold wouldn't let him train Helena with a blade. I'm sure Darius wouldn't want his son learning something so barbaric." Lysandra said which made Cyrus give a scoff. "Hardly. It's an honor to be a warrior. Just look at him. Already a loud battle cry." He chuckled since he had heard him screaming for his mother.

Anemone chuckled when Kallista went on about house colors and nodded, since Darius looked good in all colors so she didn't mind. When she went on to say it wouod indeed be fixed, the last name that was when thw boys got back she smiled brightly. "Indeed. I like my last name but I don't mind changing it if I can get Darius out of the change." Shw joked since she was much more open for her love for Darius over the last few months. Her attention moved to Cryus when he seemed to be looking at the boy. As the joked about not letting Cyrus teach some one soemthing she shook her head lightly. "I don't see why not? Maybe he can teach Ferris when he is older? A man should know how to defend himself and who better then his fathers' best friend and uncle?" She teased the poor man but she knew Darius would want that perhaps, but she would let it be till later when the child was even able to hold a sword. "And those lungs were the first thing we heard. Boy can really get loud." She stated softly giving her baby boy a snuggle, which earned her a cooing that seemed to please the baby. She chuckled,"such a cutie, both of them are. I'm excited to have Darius meet them-" she haltes her words as she felt a bit choked up, tears brimming her eyes. "I've missed him greatly. I'm Happy they are finally coming home." She stated attempting to keep her tears at bay. After a moment her father and sister came in looking pleased. Amerna had a large flashy looking ring on her finger, as her father had accompanied her to her fiance's estate to visit. There the boy had requested his daughters' hand in marriage formally to court with his permission. He approved since he liked the man well enough, young but then again so was Amerna. He explained it would be a very long engagement until both parties became of age. The family agreed and Amrena seemed ecstatic about it honestly, he was surprised. Her father came in and gave the baby boy a soft smile, since Anemone had him. "Hes a mama's boy already I see." He stated with a laugh, giving his wife a kiss on the forehead. Amrena went over and sat on the bed and made silly faces at Ferris getting a giggle. She liked the boy since he laughed at her faces, the girl just stared at her with the impossibly large blue eyes. Anemone passed Ferris to Cryus, feeling he was focusing on the boy a bit and wanted him to have the opportunity. She gave her father a smile and gave Amrena a smirk. "So how did the talk go?" She asked moving the attention from the babies to her little sister who was smiling broadly. She presented the ring to her sister who looked surprised. "Oh my. That's wonderful!" She stated but her father jumped in, clearly not ready to let his daughters go quite yet. "Its a long engagement till both parties are of age now mind you. " he state getting a chuckle from helen. "You are such a good father memnon. It will be wonderful partnership." She stated before looking at kallista to make more small talk.

Kallista gave a smile to her, raising her head a bit higher in pride at her willing to change her name. However, that just wasn’t done and she would be sure to advise the girl on that. “I appreciate you’re sweetness, my dear, but it is best the prominent family retain its name. It’s how these things are done.” Kallista stated as she gave the baby was brushed fondly. After all, the Terebourne were the rich and prominent family in this case, therefore, if Darius was to marry her he would be a Terebourne. She was okay with the idea, as it was just how things were done. Hence why Iros took her name when they married. Cyrus gave her a nod at her affirming that Ferris should learn to defend himself. Darius would no doubt be okay with it, as long as the children got an education along with it. “Of course, he’ll have no better teacher.” He said with a chuckle to go along with her joking. However, he paused when she began to tear up and Cyrus touched her arm gently. “We all are, but one step at a time. You’ve got this.” He told her gently before he noticed her father and sister come in. The announcement of the engagement made the room give her congratulations. Lysandra passed her mother Illia and went to see the ring, fawning over how pretty it looked. “Oh Amrena I’m so happy he finally asked for your hand. You two are perfect together.” She told her, even if she did spare a glance at Cyrus showing Helena the baby in his arms. The man looked completely unsure of himself and a bit awkward. But, he was trying for his daughter that was fawning over the baby in his arms. “Well Memnon, it’s been a busy season for you hasn’t it.” Kallista remarked, a smile tugging at her lips at noticing the man was worried about losing his daughters it seemed. Her best had been empty long enough now to know it got better with time. Even if she planned to use this second chance with her husband and son to improve those relationships.

Memnon nodded at his wife's friend when she asked if it had been busy. It had indeed and he was exhausted. "Indeed, Might take a vacation after things settle down and Darius is able to handle the docks." He stated with a glance at his emotional daughter who was excited to see her lover home. He had to admit he still wasn't pleased that it was Darius since the murder trial, seeing his daughter behind his back- and sleeping with his precious daughter, causing her to act up...But he did ask for her hand when it counted and he is willing to work hard and he was acquitted in Crete...He gave a huff and got a hug from Helen who looked pleased he was calm about all this. "Indeed, we should vacation, so we can come home to more children giggling maybe." she joked getting her daughters to laugh since honestly twins were enough for now. Amerena looked at Lysandra with a big smile," Oh of course. Hes been trying for a while not but his family asked he wait and see how he felt after meeting more girls- I of course was his favorite choice." She joked sounding like her mother who chuckled behind her by her husband who started in on how men were all the same ad trying to steal his daughters away. Anemone was watching Ferris and Cryus's uncertainty with a smile since she was sure Darius would be the same. She was excited to see the man she loved- feeling she missed him and her heart ached that she wasn't able to see him yet. After a bit her father took Illia for a walk since she liked her father and his rough facial hair to play with. Kallista and Helen took Ferris so she relaxed a bit more and got a bit more of a nap since the others felt she needed more rest. The next day she was up and out of bed, having taken a bath and relaxed a bit more she was still sore but she was exited to be able to see her toes again honestly. She dressed comfortably and to what she could easily move in since she still had to feed the children. She spend a lot time in the nursery and had a lot of staff member in and out to coo at the babies. her mind was on the trial that was coming up but her father had gone down to the docks to see Darius and Iros...
