That voice was not Hecete as the feminine noise had told him so. Leaning his head back, Destirel saw the upside down version of Eris; the muse that seemed to be in charge of Alysia. Smirking, he chuckled slightly. "And you thought that walking in on me while bathing would be a good way to gain information? You are a naughty muse, you are." He teased, wanting to test her as well as annoy her. It seemed she set off easily though it might have been a bad time...And Destirel also had a bit of a mischievous streak in him. A gift from his father.
Sitting up, he stood, not caring that Eris would be able to see the whole of him. She was a muse and thus he assumed she had seen it all before. If not then Eris must not have lived in the realm of the gods if at all. His skin was pale though he didn't look sickly. Muscles were toned and the brand on his left forearm glinted almost menacingly in the light of the artificial stars and moon. The light of the torches near by gave his face a hallowed look, showing his resemblance to his father even more. A look of curiosity was on his face though, not a stern and almost ferocious look that his father usually wore in the company of other gods and those that worked for them.
Reaching for his towel, he wrapped it around his waste; it sagging low on his hips. He now fully turned towards Eris and sighed almost exasperatedly. Destirel had hoped that this conversation would wait till later though it had been his fault for forgetting that muses had such a power, to travel where they wanted. "You know--My father doesn't like uninvited guests." He told her, not to make her leave but as a warning. "Though I suppose this is something that wasn't going to wait." Walking towards the cave like entrance to the out door bath, Destirel turned and motioned for Eris to follow him. "Come and I will find us a more suitable place to speak." He could be polite and he knew how to be a good host; skills ground into him by Hecete. He was also interested to see why this muse was interested in his offer to Alysia.
It was obvious that she didn't trust him, Eris had said as much. Though he didn't quite trust the muse, he didn't believe her to be a threat either. He felt no need to state that either as he believed it to be obvious by how he treated her. Waiting to see if them moving was alright with Eris, Destirel ran his hands through his wet hair; eyes no longer glowing like burning copper. They were a pale green now as usual, his powers not being used, now his anger present. He just hoped that this muse didn't get him riled up again. Especial since he had finally calmed himself down.

That boy believed he had anything worthy of seeing? " Please don't flatter yourself."She spoke with a sneer." You've not got anything I haven't seen before." She spoke with a roll of her eyes. Children nowadays much to full of themselves." Wipe that smirk of your face boy. However, I dare say that wasn't my attention. My apologies for intruding.
Did this child think he scared her. Arms crossed she raised her eyebrows. " I dare say you're father does not scare me." The wrath of Apollo, if she failed Alysia now that was a scary thought. With light footsteps she followed after Destirel decidedly being polite she wasn't half bad if he was going to be decent to her she'd show him the same respect. " Very well let's go talk then."

"Well that is a relief to hear." Destirel responded after she had commented about his nudity. "I was beginning to wonder at what kind of muse you were." With those words, he continued down the fire lit halls. As he walked, the black smoke from earlier surrounded him; silver sparkles looking red in the light of the fire. When the tasteless smoke finally vanished, Destirel was fully clothed. Since he didn't have time to change now that he had a guest, although unwanted, he figured that this little trick he had learned could be useful though now he would have to stock up on another outfit for the next use.
A tight black tee and and grey slacks were now upon his body. Destirel's hair was still wet however and he didn't feel like drying it. There were days where it could get quite hot down there. After a few turns down the hall, they came across a set of large double doors made of a black stone. They looked as if they would be quite heavy but if you pushed them in the right spot, they swung with ease. And that is what he did. It opened into a large library. Books upon books were stacked in shelves. It was one of Hecete's places that Destirel had taken as his own. He was quite the book worm once you got to know him. A little ways in, he settled himself down on a large comfortable chair, its twin sitting across from him. The lighting was appropriate for ready and the air smelt of dusty paper and old leather. It was how it should be, in Destirel's mind. Visibly relaxing, he looked to Eris, propping his head on his hand and smiling as he waited for her to speak.

Eris was ever so thankful she'd left Alysia to spend time with the nymphs. Imagine if the child had seen the half naked Destirel, she'd be utterly embarrassed. With a sight the muse ran a hand through her long brown hair. Alysia was much to naive for her own good. " You are ever much the show off." She observed. Not saying anything further she followed after Destirel her thoughts with Alysia. Raising her head she contemplated the boys words, what kind of muse she was? Wasn't that the question of the millennium. Tilting her head she ignored his comments. " You make your assumptions as will I."
Taking a seat she smoothed out her dress sitting with a straight back hands clasped in her lap. " You see you made an offer to my charge and I do not appreciate it at all. " Tilting her head she watched him carefully. " I've kept her away from the gods and their children specifically for a reason and there you were waltzing around. You're much to bold I don't like you. Alyisa is silly and immature she can be forgiven for speaking out against Zeus yet you run your mouth too much." She began. " However we share the same opinion on Zeus let's say for now we share a common interest." Now what is it you want. No one makes an offer with out an ulterior motive. Alysia can't offer you much her powers differ from yours whilst their of healing she lacks the basic control of them. " With a small smirk she continued. " She also sees auras. You got angry with her so now she's terrified of you. Stepping of on the right foot aren't you." She mocked.

Destirel chuckled inwardly at Eris's comment about him being a show off. To her that may be what he was but to him, he was just confident in himself and in his abilities. He had been taught to never show your weakness and to always believe in yourself, no matter what others said. As for making assumptions, Destirel wasn't fully done formulating what he though about the muse. She was somewhat annoying and over bearing though that might not be completely true. It was obvious she cared about Alysia, however, that might be because she was told to. He didn't know enough about her but he did have his assumptions. She wasn't your ordinary muse, by far.
Destirel listened to her words, his face clear of most emotions and it seemed as if he wasn't listening. Instead of looking her in the face as one might normally do, Destirel's eyes were right above her head and moving left to right as if he was reading something. He wasn't though, only observing and listening as he formulated what to say in his mind. It took him a moment before responding, a small sigh escaping from him.
"I may be bold but that was how I was brought up to be." Destirel said, his eyes now locked onto Eris's own. For all it was worth, his boyish demeanor had changed to that of a serious individual who would allow no games to be played. He was a reliable and trustworthy man, if he came to like you. "And I know...I--My anger is something I do not like but it is hard to control. A gift from father as you no doubt could guess. And I do apologize but she did push one of my big red buttons after all." He the said, the big red buttons meaning Zeus of course. He hadn't liked her mocking tone but alas he had acted rudely and could put up with it of course.
"As for ulterior motives? As for now there really isn't one. I was lucky to come across her and that she is, for the most part under the radar like me, would be useful. If she can learn to control her powers, Alysia could be a very powerful asset. Especially with her ability to read auras. For instance, she could tell if someone was lying quite easily---" He trailed off and leaned back in the chair, head tilted towards the ceiling for a moment. There was probably another reason, an ulterior motive as Eris put it. "Maybe I just wanted to talk to someone who was like me." His voice was softer as was his eyes, showing a hint of loneliness but it vanished quickly as he sat up and smiled, clapping his hands.
"But enough of that. What I am wanting is someone who has a drive to take down an unjust king. I want to fix what the gods have become. It is a disgrace and it is disgusting as to how far we have fallen. All I want is to fix it. I am not wanting power and I do not wish to rule. Just to make it so that the gods and goddesses do not destroy innocents while fighting amongst each other over petty things." He then explained, a fire burning in his eyes. A desire to accomplish his goals. "I want justice for those like myself and Alysia." He then said, his voice stern and sounding angry; the burning copper color in his eyes now present as he thought of how much those like Alysia had been wronged. He himself had it better than Alysia, he was sure of it. But it still hurt, he was still lonely and longing for companionship.

Eris sat patiently awaiting Destirel's response as she resumed watching him with a scrutinizing expression. Why was he watching her so? " I didn't say it was entirely a bad thing."She reasoned. " Alysia is forgiving if you do not lose your temper with her so easily next time I suppose all will be well." She commented.
When he spoke of not having ulterior motives she released a soft laugh. " Really?" She inquired. " No hidden agenda no secretive motives. Now you're pulling my leg." Narrowing her eyes slightly she watched him more cautiously deciding if she believed his words. " I've done my best to keep her hidden. For why that shall for now remain my business. " Crossing her legs she released a soft laugh. " Oh dear boy you have no idea how powerful she can be. She could tell if someone was lying only if she grows stronger it has it's disadvantages. She'll be easier to find." That wasn't what she wanted. To basically hand Alysia out on a silver platter was hardly to be a good thing.
"She wants to know others like herself. Only we, her mother and I kept her away from the other gods children.." Would it be such a bad thing if Destirel was friends with Alysia. Maybe she was getting to far ahead of herself. " I think it's best if you share your opinions with Alysia. It's her who makes the final decision. She's scared of you but that can easily change and she to dislikes Zeus though for different reasons." She spoke softly. Standing up she looked at him levelly." For now I see no reason to distrust you."

"If she doesn't speak of Zeus like that to me again than we should be fine." Destirel retorted as his eyes drifted from Eris and to various places around the room. Her words caused a slight twitch at his lips as they formed into a slight smirk of a smile. "I am one of many secrets but I shall not hide my true reasons from you if you ask." Destirel would be honest with her as long as she was with him. There were things he would rather not discuss with her but they really had nothing to do with his plans. They may have impacted him to mold his plans in his mind, but they had no real affect on it now.
"I was not underestimating Alysia. She is the daughter of Apollo. There is bound to be a powerhouse in her somewhere." It was true. Any one who had the blood of the sun running through their veins was bound to have some kind of gift. Damian had the power of the darkness though not in the sense of evil. He held mostly offensive powers though he could use some spells to heal. That was definitely not a trait of his father's which led him to believe that his mother was not human, despite was Hecate told him. "Though it would be a shame if she was found." He murmured, more to himself than to Eris.
"It must be nice to know your mother..." Destirel muttered as he stood, the squeaking of the chair drowning out most of what he said though if Eris was paying close attention, she might be able to have heard it. "Yes, I will tell her though whenever that time will be I shall let you tell me. If it is now, I would like to go and see Hecate first. I promised to come and see her after I got home today" He didn't know why he was explaining himself though it was probably because in all honesty, he was slightly unsure how to bring up the topic with Alysia. He would have to apologize first off though. That might make things easier. "I shall trust you with keeping my existence a secret from others and as long as you do that. I will give you no reason to distrust me." He commented to Eris's own. There was also the fact of her talking about his plan. He didn't think she would now but alas, he didn't know her well enough to believe that one-hundred percent.

" Well it's true even if you don't quite agree Zeus is your master along with hers even if you both hate him." She replied slyly. " No for now keep your secrets until I am ready to share Alysia's with you." She wasn't deliberately keeping it from him it merely wasn't something she wished to discuss with just anyone. " Well for now the only power I know she possesses is healing and attracting those awful nymphs." With a disgusted expression she shook her head. The nymphs annoyed her endlessly but Alysia practically loved their company.
When the time was right. She was meant to know when it was the right time to talk to Alysia. Blinking her eyes she nodded her head. " Very well then when it's a fitting time I'll call on you, unless she seeks you out before that..." Taking into consideration she hardly wanted anyone to find out who Alysia was let alone where she was a small laugh escaped her lips. " Your secret is safe with me, Alysia is my charge I keep her existence secret and I shall do the same in return to you. No one will know who you are little god and I trust you will do the same with Alysia." Although she didn't voice it the threat lay in her tone of voice. Anyone found out where Alysia was and he would be in big trouble. " Good bye." She spoke calmly. Leaving willing herself out of the place she quickly sought out Alysia. At least the girl was in the dorm away from the nymphs.
"Where did you go?" Alysia asked quickly. " I went looking for you but I couldn't find you." She added. " I had business to attend to." The muse replied automatically. " Fine keep your secrets." Alysia spoke with a slight scowl. Crossing her leg on the bed she gaze irritably at the muse before turning the amulet over in her hand. " I think it's time we found out what this amulet does."

Yes that may have been true in most peoples eyes but Destirel would never except Zeus as his master. And technically, he was not known and there for Zeus didn't have control over something he didn't know about now did he? Sighing, it turned into a light chuckle as Eris's words. Obviously the muse didn't like nymphs. "Ah, well have you ever been in the presence of a fire nymph? I find them to be quite useful sometimes." A smile formed on his lips, as his pale green eyes looked around the room. They were quieter than the nymphs that played around trees. Though they could be quite energetic and annoying if you were around them at night. He could see a few in the room, carrying around small orbs of fire. His father loved the little creatures and used them to light the pathway for the dead. Destirel on the other hand usually used them as a book light.
Destirel knew when he was being threatened, subtle or not. Inclining his head, smile still on his lips, the god boy made a silent promise to Eris. Her secret would be safe with him. When she left, Destirel grabbed a book from the shelf next to where Eris had been sitting and headed in the direction of Hecate's work room. It would be interesting to see how she felt about him getting to know another god child, though he wasn't going to mention Alysia exactly. He had made that promise and although he was wanting to talk to Hecate about it, Destirel didn't normally go back on his word. It took something mighty to cause him to do such a thing.

Whatever objections Eris had the muse neglected to mention them, and for that part Alysa was thankful. " Alysia you really should go get something to eat now. You missed dinner." With a reluctant nod she stood up placing the amulet back around her neck as she made her way down to the hall for supper. For the past hour they'd tossed around ideas on what her amulet could possibly do. " Well we know it's kept me hidden from Hera." That much was painfully obvious. " Though it's Apollo we should stop thinking practical and be more like him. I bet he's got more tricks up his sleeve." She added.
Sitting down at one of the tables she began to pick at her food. " Alysia your father isn't to blame." Eris spoke gently. " Hera cursed you not him." Seriously Eris was defending his actions. " He'd lifted the originally curse and then he had to screw around with my mother and ruin everything." Folding her arms she stared at Eris angrily. " Not to mention we both know the only reason he ever claimed me as his is because no one else knows I'm alive. He doesn't care for daughters and he never will do." Standing up abruptly she left her half eaten plate of food. " If you wont help me I'll find out by myself."
Despite the late hour she stole away to the library. Anything she could find out had to be better then nothing right? Sneaking in she stole away to the back instantly masking her presence from the librarian. It would best if she didn't earn a detention. Now where would she start? The history books were lies, even if she did find something it would probably be a fat load of rubbish. Skimming through the aisles she took a seat on the ground. Did she use her powers? That always risked bringing on a vision and that was an unpleasantly she didn't want right now. She was quite fed up with her visions clearly manipulated by Apollo. With a soft sigh she pulled out a book maybe she'd just have to find the truth in the lies.

Aparently Hecate had gone out for the rest of the day at least that was what the note on her door had said. It was an unpleasant turn of events that Destirel was somewhat upset about. That meant a dinner alone with his father though that usually wasn't all that bad...As long as Hades was in a good mood that was. So instead of spending his time talking things over with Hecate, Destirel took himself to the library and read various parts of various books. He wanted to find out more about Apollo and see what there was mentioned about the muse Eris. If there was anything about her. Destirel had a fair amount of knowledge on the sun god as he did on most of the other gods and goddesses but it didn't hurt to look up more and check up on your facts every once in a while now did it.
That was how he spent the rest of his evening until a brightly lit fire nymph interrupted him. His father had gotten home and it was time for dinner, a late one at that. This was sure to prove interesting though since the nymph didn't look scared or abused in any way, Destirel assumed that his father was in a good mood. On his way there, Destirel ran his hand through his slightly tangled brown hair. His father liked to keep up appearances as he claimed they made good impressions or at least that only seemed to apply to Destirel and not himself.
He had been right. His father was in a good mood. The dinning hall bright with flame that flickered off of the dark stone walls and carved wooden table. It could seat many but there were only two tonight, Destirel and Hades. They chatted of basic things as even a human family would do. How was your day? Good and you? Basic little chit chat until the food arrived. Yes, his father must have been in a fine mood as there seemed to be a three course meal on the table. Really, Destirel wondered why but he knew, his father would tell him when he was ready.

Perhaps it was easier to start at the beginning. Know the story for what it was. Hera she was the cause of all the misery brought forward to Alysia. Then maybe Hera was the victim? Zeus had cheated on her and produced the twins Artemis and Apollo. He'd then gone on to have countless flings with mortals and gods though a few really made the goddess rage. Ones like Desdemona, the beauties of the land at least that's what the books said. Anyone more beautiful then Hera the Queen of the gods had to be a threat. She cursed everyone of the mortal women who Zeus consorted with, though her family had copped it worse. It didn't make matters any easier when Apollo then lusted after Uriana her mother.
Rubbing her temples Alysia sighed. It made her head hurt all the possibilities. Perhaps Hera was an ally, did she hate Zeus? Surely she must do? Or we're they both in it together. The woman was sworn to hate her but had Eris lied? Tilting her head she scanned the library quietly maybe she could use her magic. Just this once, even a teeny small bit of it to help her uncover the truth. Brushing her hands over the book she studied it before relenting. " I want the truth." She spoke softly, barely more then a whisper.
What she didn't want it was in the form of a vision. It hurt her head so as she blackened out the disorientated picture slowly formed .
“Zeus, King of the Gods.God of the Sky, thunder and lightning along with the law. Call him what you’d like he was unjust and cruel. The prophesied offspring would stronger then Zeus himself. The gods are selfish creatures though; they couldn’t stop their consorts with the mortal men and women.” Her mother spoke softly.
Those words soundall togetherher to familiar. Stepping into the scene she looked around. Then there she was a much younger version listening to her mothers story.
"My father is selfish?" That small innocent question caught her mother of guard. " No he had no choice Alysia. You'll understand when you are older now go to sleep. " With a tiny pout the child closed her eyes just as her mother stood up. " Eris take away her memories now she can't remember any of this."
With a wince of pain she looked up at the bright library lights before slowly pulling herself into a sitting position. This would be a fun one to explain to the nurse as she brushed a hand across her bleeding temple.

Dinner was almost over by the time Destirel's father began to tell him why he was so happy. And after he had explained it all, Destirel had to sit in silence and think. It was definitley an interesting turn of event.
On his way back to his room, Destirel was still wondering how it could be. Apparently the gods wanted Hades to host a party. A get together if you will. That was a rare things, considering that the last couple of times his father hadn't even been invited. Something must have been up but alas, Destirel didn't have the heart to ruin his father's good mood. Plus when he was angry...Hades was scary.
It would take a bit for the preparations and invites. You could bring whomever you wished, even a human. Well as long as you wiped their memories afterwords. Also, it was apparently masquerade themed. Maybe he could ask Alysia? Ah no. For one Eris would say it was too dangerous and as of now, Alysia probably disliked him. It was an interesting thought though. However, thinking of Alysia got Destirel stuck back his search for information. Heading back towards the library, he picked out his favorite nymph. It was going to be a long night and since Hecate was still gone, he figured some company was better than none. It wasn't as if he wanted to talk a lot, mostly he just wanted someone to watch his back. Some things lurked these halls that even Destirel was unsure about. ((Hope this works and sorry its kinda short. I'm playing FF10 hehe))

{It's fine I'm time skip to the next day }
Alysia self consciously brushed a hand across her bruised arm. Her powers were that out of control she'd only managed to heal the cut to her head " Stop touching it." Eris scolded her. Flashing the muse a dirty expression she gazed down at her bruised arm. " If you controlled your visions you wouldn't pass out every time." Eris was seriously going to give her a lecture this early in the morning. Ignoring the muse she hurriedly dressed into her school uniform.
" Be thankful it was just a small cut and those bruises will be gone in a few days. " Eris continued. She wasn't going to let it drop how she'd let her powers get so out of control she couldn't even manage to simply heal a cut and a few bruises that lined her arm. " So you said. "
" It's not my fault, the visions keep getting worse. I can't sleep if I keep having night mares and the more tired I am the less control I have." She spoke bitterly. " Maybe HE should of thought about that before he decided to harass my dreams. " She spoke crossly. " Smoothing out her skirt she Oh please Alysia don't try and deny you used your magic last night. What if Hera had sensed you using it." Oh she was one to bring up Hera. Angrily she snatched up her school bag exiting the dorm leaving a stunned muse behind her. Last night that vision she'd seen who was her enemy indeed. How long had her mother had Eris change her memories. Years? She looked about five in that vision. With bitter resentment she headed to her first class.
Not even the nymphs could console her as she sat down in her seat. What secrets did Eris keep from her. What memory had the muse taken. She wanted the truth but at what cost.

Morning came before Destirel realized it. He hadn't slept at all, staying in the library all night looking up random pieces of information and reading tidbits of anything he could get his hands on. He had pretty much forever to read all the books in this library and something was always being added so it led to plenty of amusement for those boring days.
Destirel thought about going to sleep for the day but then remembered that there was school that he could entertain himself with, plus he would probably be able to see Alysia again. And so he got to his room and dressed himself in the designated school uniform. He would definitley be late for class but that didn't bother him too much. Enveloped by a sparkling cloud of black smoke, he poofed into a secluded area of the school grounds. No one was there, and no one was. Especially at this time of the day.
He was scolded for being late to class but he just let the words fly over his head. He had expected it and it hadn't really bothered him in the least. The teacher seemed to notice this and for the rest of class, decided to call on him at every chance they got. Two more classes went by before it was lunch and Destirel was eager to get the chance to try and find Eris and Alysia. He wasn't going to mention anything about Zeus this time, no he wanted to apologize for his behavior yesterday. Destirel figured that that would be the best thing to do. After all, he wanted Alysia to like him. He wasn't sure how much though at this point. Sure it was exciting to find another child of the gods around his age though really, it wasn't good to get his hopes up that she would want to really be friends with him. Alas, he could be quite the pessimist at times.
Destirel also wanted to ask Eris's opinion about the party that was to be hosted by Hades. It was interesting to him and he thought that Eris might have an opinion as to why they would suddenly want to let the god of the underworld to take part in their festivities, none the less host one. And so, Destirel searched. He didn't think she would want to be around crowds and Eris had mentioned that she enjoyed the company of nymphs so off to the one place where he knew they would be.
