Kole saw the pride in the new kid, finding this slightly amusing. Annaliese would like him, she was a prideful creature herself now a days so he was getting used to accepting that. When the boy spoke his voice sounded a bit rough but then again most did on a ship. He gave a small nod a smile showing on his face. "Yes, well, I wanted to congratulate you on catching the boy. Most would have let him fall. I feel thats worth some commendation and recognizance is it not?" He asked them looking like they weren't in trouble since they weren't however that wasn't until Fox slinked up on deck from bellow and looked a little confused but her face turned stoic as soon as she saw her part of the crew reporting. Honestly could she not take one moment before having to play mother? "Problems Kole?" She asked in a soft sounding tone but it was simply neutral. "No, none with this situation however you need to get your men together and work on a complete signaling code so none almost fall from a lack of proper communication-alright?" He more or less told her what needed to happen getting a blank look from fox. "They should know one by now, if not the older men will handle that. I don't think you wnat me teaching them code." She said more or less telling him she wasn't going to do as he requested. Kole pursed his lips but nodded since he respected Fox's position over the rat line runners since it wasn't easy being in that part of the ship- it was dangerous so he let it be. "Alright but if they fall- you take over their duties and your own. Are we clear?" He commented in a more catty tone however there was soem joking there. "Crystal. Please give my regards to Annaliese- tell her things were simple and nothing became of it." She stated before turning and motioning both Dan and Markus off to the rat lines to peak with them. ------------------------------------------- At the news that he was indeed a Sea witch, she nodded a soft set smile on her lips. He was a supernatural being- that was oddly... comforting to her. At the news that he had indeed brought a contract on board she nodded, thinking of if she knew who that was. She didn't sadly but she would find out. " As long as no harm comes to the crew or to the ship I will let things be as they are. I need to go see what Samantha is barking at my crew about- If you need me I'll be top side." She spoke before leaving and heading back to the main deck, finding she had indeed heard Samantha barking orders to her men. Coming up to them she gave Kole a slight look but dismissed it before asking if there was a problem. --------------------- Kole watched Fox and the two boys leave before heading into the main quarters to speak with his sister. "Whats wrong this time?" She asked from where she was laying down on her bed an arm over her eyes no even seeing whom it was. Most times when they came in lately it was been with troubled thoughts and problems. "Fox says nothing became of a situation and things are fine, please try to get some sleep sister. You get more fussy when your tired." He cooed softly to her going over to the bed and taking a seat there by her to perhaps calm her a bit. She rolled over and wrapped her arms about his waist, letting his sit back a bit more properly first but was pinning him there. She always had problems sleeping so he often stayed there with her, only causing more of a misconception to the crew. At the point he didn't car any more but it did nag him when Samantha made jokes.

Maresol was relieved when this was congratulations and not a scolding, something that showed in her face that softened slightly. She gave him a nod, Dan looking a bit happy that they weren't in trouble. He gave Maresol a smile, making her happy to see the boy was alright. "Thank you, but I'd hope that the crew would do the same if it were me--" She said, but she was cut off by another woman approaching. When she was addressed as Fox by Kole, her expression brightened with recognition. This was the woman Samantha meant for her to find. When an argument started about code, Maresol looked a bit confused. There was a code for this sort of thing, yes, and she hadn't known it. Falling was an honest mistake, but something that could have been prevented perhaps. She kept her mouth shut as they talked, then followed when she was called to follow by Fox. She spared Kole and Samantha a nod of goodbye, before going to where Fox wanted them. Dan looked to Maresol, leaning in a bit to talk, "She's Fox, our officer we report to. Good luck getting anything past her. She keeps a close eye on things." Maresol nodded, not really responding since she didn't want to get them in trouble for whispering. She knew Fox could tell, but she still didn't want in on being in trouble for it.

When she got close to the lines there by the port side of the ship she stopped and turned looking at them. "Daniel- report back to main mast- go speak with one of the old men, Get your code established- its an internal issue not one for Kole. Markus-Your a friend of Alejandro yes? Follow me to the Rats' nest." She called as she turned with out waiting for a responded before she jumped and was quickly up the lines and in her next in a few minutes. The girl would eventually catch up, she knew it wasn't a race but she simply felt more comfortable there. In the nest there was a leather water proofed sleeping bag, and a locked box. It held her spy glass and some extra food rations but nothing major or overly important. She leaned against the edge and watched the water's horizon in front of them looking for anything like a ship. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Samantha watched as Fox left with her newlings and sighed, but eventually she went bellow deck and corralled everyone not doing much but talking into doing something. She eventually shoved Alejandro down into the stock rooms, to help move and watch things- however the man already in there told them he had it fine and he didn't want him messing up his things so he could sit there for all he cared. Heading up after a bit she went to see what Annaliese had planned for the evening however she wasn't in her quarters' for a change- she was out on the poop deck-just above the Navigation room with a compass and a spyglass in hand, thinking by her expression. Heading up there she paused looking for Kole, or to see if she was speaking to anyone- finding no one. "Captain? New course?" She asked in an unsure tone wondering what she was going. Turning her eyes to her second she smiled "Yes, I figured we could use a good raid to lift the crews spirits- or a port with whores, haven't decided about that one yet. I'm hoping for a fight however- or a ship raid- both have blood to be shed." She went on in her usual thrill seeking attitude. Sam sighed but didn't speak since it was the Captain's choice after all.

When Daniel took off for the sails, looking less than thrilled to argue, Maresol looked uneasy to be alone with Fox. Especially since she suddenly brought up her affiliation with Alejandro. Maresol wasn't sure she liked the idea of people saying she was friends with him, since that definitely wasn't the case. It was more like the strained relationship between an arranged marriage, two people forced into each other's company till something drastic changed. The drastic change she needed was to find these objects of power for him in exchange for destroying the people who put her in that jail cell. The arrangement was fair and on their terms, which left room for a co-existence but not a friendship. Hopefully Alejandro wasn't running around getting things twisted in the minds of their superiors. Unless the reason he brought up any relation to her was to throw her to the sharks with him for some trouble he was in. Was he in trouble? She wouldn't put it past him to start trouble already since he was a bit of a pompous ass. He also was very into his self preservation, meaning he would gladly take her down to protect himself. However she had something to be thankful of, that he at least didn't blow her cover there as a woman. That was not exactly a solid plus but it was somewhat agreeable of him... She followed up to the top of the mast at a slower rate than Fox had, pulling herself into the nest with some grace. She looked over the little set up in the small space, raising a brow at it. Did Fox ever leave? Surely she had someone to trade her shifts with as a spotter? She looked back to Fox, her look a bit hesitant since she was unsure of exactly what to expect from the woman. "It's a pleasure Fox. I was supposed to find you earlier, but I got sidetracked." She said before raising a brow. "As for Ale, aye ma'am I am acquainted with him. Though I suppose that matters only if he's caused some trouble for you?" She asked since she was wondering if he had done something dumb already.

Fox waited for him to come over the edge of the nest before letting him get his barings. "Your duty should come first not your curiosity. Your hesitance could coast another sailor their death, keep that in mind. This is your new family- treat it as such. Alejandro hasn't made any trouble for me personally. He and I actually had an interesting conversation, where he mentioned for me to perhaps keep an eye on you- but don't expect any special treatment." She half scolded near the end however eventually she smiled. "I am fox, think of me as your lovably big sister- I will protect you and keep you safe-If you have a problem come to me first. I will address the captain if needed in things. But lets keep things simple shall we mate?" She finished her words wanting a proper response from the lad she was supposed to be keeping an eye on for more information about herself perhaps- she could keep her eyes a little lower if needed- she could feel it in the water if a ship was close...

Maresol took the scolding with a level head since this Fox was her superior and she was right. A mistake could kill someone, as she had seen already. She gave Fox a nod, her attention going to the waters instead of looking at her when she mentioned Alejandro. So he was making friends was he? She hadn't expected such, since he had once told her thought himself above everyone. She figured he sensed somethings worth investing in Fox if he humored talk with her. Perhaps he saw her as another contract? She didn't care about his business partners since she didn't have that relationship with him to care. She turned a friendly smile to her when she introduced herself and told her how things would work between them. She needed to be on Fox's good side, not that the woman struck her as of poor character yet. She liked her better than Samantha at the moment. "I'm Markus as you know. I promise to come to you if I need to, Fox. Hopefullly that isn't often for situations like down below. I have to say its been a while since I was on lines like that..." She said before she moved over some to look over the side some at the deck. "So You're navigating and keeping look out? Is this going to part of our duties?" She asked, wondering if she would be placed up here or if she was there just to observe.

When asked about their duties she shook her head. "No, I am look out- I always am- the captain trusts me with such tasks only. You will care for the lines, make mends and tend to the masts." She said in a calm tone however she suddenly look a little panicked looking over the nest edge and turning to call bellow- her yell quite loud. "Hard to port!" She called- Samantha who was on the wheel- spun it suddenly, jarring the ship a bit but it was for a good reason- most went to the ship side to see what they were avoiding to find there was a sandbar with a few broken down low ships on it- meaning it was a sand trap out here. Before the ship jarred however- she whistled out towards he masts- meaning to hold on for dear life, all did lucky for them- she did however grab hold of Markus's arm to keep him from falling out of the nest. "Any questions?" She asked with a smile releasing the boys arm, feeling nothing for the red marks her hand left on them. After a sort moment a running came over the edge and told Fox that the Captain wanted to see her. Most likely over what just occurred. "Kole or the captain?" She asked the rat who was looking a little uncomfortable being up there with some one other then just fox. He did however glance over the boy and notice he was small- that would change but it wasn't his choice in whom Fox chose to like. "Both in fact." He said in a small tone that was submissive getting a nod from her. She shooed him before turning back to Markus. "Follow or stay- matters not. Just report to the lines in an hour." She stated giving him a small break to do things. Putting a hand on the rail she jumped over it easily with no intention of 'climbing'down. catching a rope she swung down- letting her hands loose on the rope so she would lower. Feet landing on the main deck with a thump she moved to the quarters where the captain hides during the day. Opening the door easily she gave a soft look to the hardhearted woman there. "So...any reason I spilled wine on my dress?" She asked looking very unhappy with that fact. "Ship wreckage on a sand bar. I couldn't feel it till we were much closer." She stated since land was a little beyond her. "Hows the crew looking so far for the lines Fox?" Kole asked from behind the desk in the quarters, papers about him as he looked over things better. "They might survive a raid. perhaps get them trained in fighting- don't like moping blood off the deck. Bad for moral." She stated getting a giggle from Annaliese. "If they don't wnat to bleed out then don't cross me- its simply. I told them the rules and they will pay with their lives now." She said knowing very well that Fox had witnessed her cut throat behavior before and found she was heart less to those who crossed her of their own volition.

Maresol looked a bit unsure when she began to look panicked, her body tensing some as she tried to find exactly what she was looking for. When she made a call to action, she grabbed the side of the nest, allowing her to handle it. Her bracing kept her from pitching too much, but it was definitely a bumpy trip. She looked down, spying the land that was there and that it had already claimed a few ships already. She was unsure how Fox had seen it while not paying attention, but she chalked it up to her being used to this sort of thing. When she left after giving her the option to relax for a bit. She took to the deck below, finding that it was mostly full of people looking a bit frazzled, but still getting back to work. She took the time to go and find Alejandro, at least to ask him what was up with that conversation with Fox. She found him perched, watching the other man with an unamused expression. "You know you are quite boring...Piss poor at conversation too." He muttered in Spanish through a yawn at the man in charge of cargo, looking annoyed. Maresol cleared her throat with which made Ale look up, his expression slightly relieved. "Oh thank god. Finally conversation." He slipped off the crate, though her eyes narrowed at him he still approached. "So you're making friends with the captain's senior crew?" He raised a brow at her, looking like a man that was lost on why their wife was angry with them. "Is there a problem with that?" He asked before his face fell almost in serious shock. "Are you jealous? Markus I'm flattered." He snickered, putting a hand infant of his mouth as though it were a girlish crush. Maresol's eyes widened and she gave him a shove, causing him to stagger a few steps. "D-Don't you dare accuse me of being jealous! I'm just worried you are causing trouble." She snapped, her face turning a slight tinge of pink that he hadn't seen before. Seems he had found his little doll's sensitive side. He gave her a shake of his head, his expression innocent. "Me? Never." Before she could dismiss him again, he leaned in, surprisingly close to her so that he could talk in her ear. "And what harm could come from having a few friends in high places...it will keep your head off the chopping block, love." She gave him a glare, hitting him hard in the side that got him to double over so she could get past him to go back to work. Alejandro spared her a glare, wondering why he put up with this when he could just let her sink...

The cabin was quiet for a short time only the sound of the ocean along the sides of the ship, soft scrapping of foot falls over head and perhaps a call or two from the top level, but it was calming to him, however his new partner was annoying and in the way. he pretty much ignored him as he hummed songs he knew, turning momentarily to see a boy talking to him he decided to ignore both of them now. He did glance over at how the exchange went however he wasn't too comfortable with is- at all. The proximity between the two was almost...intimate and that wasn't okay by him. Moving out of the cargo area he figured distance himself however he went forward to the top deck deciding to find the captain- or Kole at least- finding them to be reasonable in leaving him be in the cargo hold. Looking about he saw Samantha at the helm and Kole not far from her however as he moved towards them he was stopped suddenly by a small female he knew very little of but knew she was part of the captain's elite crew. She was pale as a ghost for being in the nest all the time- it was strange and creeped him out honestly. "Move out of the way girly- I need to speak to Kole about somethin'." He said in a polite manner but his wording was off since she made him feel weird. He had always been sensitive to unearthly things as a child and he cared not be to- he wanted away from them honestly. "Who is it about?" She asked in a sly tone moving a little closer to the man since hew as obviously uncomfortable. "Who said it was about a who- its about a what." He countered getting a look from Fox that said she could assume other wise. "Kole?" Fox question loudly- mostly to get his attention-he came down to the lower deck and looked at the man with a smile. "Hey, good to see you get some sun light. What can I help you with?" He asked in a polite way. He was a very nice man- until you made him angry or messed with his sister- then you were in for some hell. He looked awkward but spoke after being prompted to by Kole. "Well sir. there is-well my associate in the cargo bay-He has a...well strange relationship with a runner- Its- disconcerting sir...Not something I wanna walk in on in the cargo bay- and not on a sailors' ship surly. " He went on saying things of the matter however it wasn't very clear but it was obvious since the majority of the crew was male...that made other men feel awkward. Kole gave him a nod," Very well I belive one of the new men---what was his name...Allen? No but the A is right?" He asked however the man from the bay nodded. "Alejandro. Sir." He corrected getting a nod however that made Fox's face light up. "Let me handle this Kole. I know both runner and associate." She stated making it known that she had meant both already. Kole nodded, "Very well- I need to speak with Annaliese about our new course- she is either set on a raid or a whore house...not sure which she is mroe excited for..." he said with a heavy sigh since it was unlady like and it was hard seeing his sister be such still. ------------------------------ She climbed back to her post and stayed there for a while longer, till the sun had set the she knew the man who reported would be in the mess hall helping out after dinner. Fox moved bellow deck, it was still odd for her but she needed to look into this- finding her new little associate where he was left in the cargo area. "So, already had a report on you. Not very smart. not even a full day out of port yet..." She said with a cold type of laugh but it was friendly.

Maresol worked until the evening when everyone was allowed to carry themselves to the kitchen to collect their ration. The large ship held quite a few supplies or so she found that the rations were a bit larger for even a larger crew. She was invited to eat with the other runners on the deck, mostly as a sign of goodwill that she didn't let Dan become a lump on the deck. She had seen enough men fall in her life time to know it wasn't pretty. They say in a circle on the deck, chatting each other up on the daily tasks and a bit about themselves for the new crew. She came to find that a few were hired by Annalise before she got the ship, others were people she picked up along the way. All there were loyal to the woman, or so she gathered, but she couldn't really blame them. She fed them, clothed them, gave them beds and weapons, and she was very clear on her expectations. It was a good deal here... "And you Markus?" Dan's voice broke her trance from looking at the waves in thought, making Maresol blink in confusion. "Pardon?" She asked, getting a snicker from an older man that was small and very thin for his age. "What brings you to the ship? We already heard James was a run away and Mateo joined because of money. What about you?" Maresol thought about the question a moment before shrugging. "I don't know." She said, getting noises of protest from the boys and men. Seems that answer wasn't enough for them. She was about to clarify with some sappy lie, but a voice behind her beat her to it. "Really Markus? You told me it was for the adventure." Alejandro sat down beside her, keeping his distance friendly since it would place why he was there. He was bored dealing with the wierd little man in the cargo bay, the one who was now giving him off looks or making no eye contact. He wasn't a magical being...but perhaps he was a human sensitive to power? Maresol spared him a dismissive glance before looking to the group, figuring she should address him. "This is Alejandro. Him and I enlisted together." She said before she got a funny look from Dan. "Why would you do that? You close or something?" He asked, which made Maresol frown. Was it that odd to sail together with someone who had a contract on your life? Perhaps... She needed a good lie to cover up the truth since it could get them killed of the truth got out... "Sort of he's--my cousin!" The group looked a little surprised to hear that, especially Alejandro who hardly looked patient enough for games. He however knew it was for the best and gave a sigh, putting on an expression of exasperation. "Yes, he's my aunt's son. We grew up together in Seville, like siblings really. She passed recently and so he came to live with me since my parents weren't to sold on taking in another man's child..." He said, a round about way of saying Maresol was a bastard which wasn't far off from the truth but they didn't need to know that. The pain that made her eyes avert was proof enough for this story, enough so that a few of the men eased up. "So you two signed up for adventure then?" Dan asked to clear the air, making Maresol smile slightly with a nod. "Yeah. I was around boats all my life. Wanted to get back out on the water after so long away." The group erupted in talk again, allowing Maresol to spare Alejandro a look. The man glanced at her and gave her a look that was slightly condescending, as if saying he expected thanks for playing along. She gave him a roll of her eyes before mouthing thank you and and jointing the others in talk. ~~~~ Everyone returned to their respective jobs for closing up for the evening, most taking shifts for maintenance and sleeping. While the other man in charge of cargo went about his business in the kitchens, Alejandro stayed back to make sure everything on the ledger was accounted for. Spare a mouse or two, everything seemed in order. He was bored however, feeling odd being back on the water again. In the times he had been called upon by a contract to be on a boat, it was usually for nefarious reasons and everyone knew what he was. Once he had sunk 5 spanish galleons with one storm, taking the crew down to Davey Jones for the man he had in a contract till of course he used his body as fodder for the sharks. Granted he had inhabited the body of a woman then, one that was once a well known priestess out of a colony in the bahamas, a woman who men had a hard time saying no to. But that was a matter worth left unsaid, since he often didn't reminisce on his past lives. It did him no good, since when he changed bodies a bit of the person they were still lingers. She had been callous and domineering with a commanding presence that could command armies. This body was weaker with more bouts of temper, a bit more of womanizer. Not that he cared, but honestly the moodiness of it all got old. Human emotion was far too fragile. He looked up from the book when Fox spoke to him, his eyebrows raising some at news that he had been reported for something. He huffed as he closed the book, placing it back down on the man's vox that he had been using for a desk. "Is that so? Well I thought this would be a social visit..." He said before giving a shrug. "I can't imagine why. I've been playing by the rules and staying put in this dark little room with that boring man all day. Do you know he hums shanty tunes all damn day and barely speaks. It's infuriating." He said, though he hardly would complain to her since he was sure she wouldn't care.

At his words about being bored and stuck with a man who didn't like him she smirked at him. "That's life on a ship for you. You will get used to the songs. My favorite is the one where the man gets eaten by a great white whale. Its humorous that sea creatures would eat smelly sailors in the first place." She said her odd personality showing in her comment. "Keep your associate Markus top side. He thinks your sleeping around with my runners." She stated rather bluntly to him not honestly caring his own business but it was a warming. "If you need speak- Sam tells me you room together- speak there- men fraternizing together in such a manner makes the other men- well a little unsettled." She finished her statement that was there for official business since she did take her job seriously on this ship however she turned a smile to him. "So if you have a moment would you mind joining me in the nest up in the rigging? perhaps we can talk with some privacy there?" She asked before turning around to see a few other men standing in the door way looking awkward since if Fox was there- hell if any of the senior crew was there- things could get ugly quickly if one stepped out of line. ------------------------ "Wait so your telling me you simply want to see what they are capable of? Combat wise? You want to kill our newly signed on crew for what? Sport?" Kole asked sounding a little exasperated, Samantha leaned against the door frame watching the two as she figured it was going to be another sibling fight. "When you put it like that Kole, it makes it sound like I'm cold hearted. I'm your sister be nicer." She scolded getting a pursed lip look from her brother, his ears a bit more red the they had been as he kept himself from yelling at her. "We are low on cannon shot, perhaps the port would be a better choice?" She provided a break to the awkward silence getting a thoughtful look from Annaliese. "Low? I guess, we could always just use the men- since my brother thinks so coldly of me." She said in a pouty manner- meaning she was trying to get back into her brother's graces. Sam had seen this type of fight many times before and Kole was simply a little put off about his sisters' antics- how he stayed with his personality was beyond her. Kole sighed, moving forward and hugging his sister with a soft expression and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead. "I wound't think that low of you, ever. You know that. Lets go to port, perhaps we can pick up some more ammunition and then you can have your fight? Alright?" She tried to help convince her on the port as well- perhaps to distract her from fighting so much. Giving her brother a bright smile she nodded, moving out of his arms and heading to the door, grabbing her spy glass and her map- moving to the navigation deck. She swiveled her glass about searching for what she needed and plotted a course that she relayed to Samantha who followed her easily to stir the ship- however it seemed Annaliese wanted to do it this round. Sam had to admit- the woman knew every crevice in this ship and knew every job available for it-and chose to be the hardest one, luck for her. Little she she know Sam almost admired her for her back bone and cruelty. Her last ship captain had done something similar but then they began slaving and she wasn't about that life- robbing and pillaging perhaps but not slavery. "Ey' Ey' Captain. I'll began relaying orders." She said before turned and shouting out orders to the rat lines- ordering full sail and men began to scramble. Annaliese was an odd sight to see on the wheel but it was obvious her small frame could handle it well- however it wasn't too long before Kole joined her, standing behind her, hands also on the wheel. It looked like lovers who were whispering however, it was her brother helping her keep balance- plus she was overly exposed up on the top deck- perfect for any one to harm her, he wouldn't allow that...

Fox's smirk at his complaining made Alejandro look unamused, mostly because his complaint was valid in his mind. He was used to being important and needed, not sitting like a lazy house cat waiting for the next shred of excitement to enter his life. Her comment about her favorite tune was surprising, especially since it was a dreary choice for tunes. He preferred the bar maids songs and the old cantina songs, since those were the first he was introduced to as a youngling on the surface world. However, a song about whales eating people could get his interest if he saw it for himself. He folded his arms, looking impatient as he wanted to know what this report was about and who he was going to have to talk to. He could make a person regret closing him, especially if it endangered his place on this ship. When Markus was brought into the mix and he was now being accused of sleeping with runners, Alejandro actually snorted in shocked laughter. Were these people really that daft? Now he was being accused of sleeping with men aboard a ship of men more superstitious than nuns. Not even the important men either...What did they take him for? It offended him, but not for the same reasons. His kind hardly had the same view on love and sex that humans did and hardly cared for gender being an issue. For him it was a tool to control someone or get what he wanted, no stings attached lest he had something to gain from having a relationship. He had been alive long enough to see that humans weren't capable of feelings beyond their own selfish desires. So to assume he was sleeping with lowly rats was no better than insulting his intelligence, something he wouldn't take laying down if this was to cause problems for him or his contract. He noticed they were gaining an audience, his anger quelling in favor of leaving the area when offered a place to talk. He wasn't sure Fox understood his innocence, but he would hardly start to throw Markus under the bus when her gender could get her thrown off this boat. When they walked out, he took to her side, towering over her some with his height. "I've already spoken to at least your little runners that Markus and I are 'related'. I guess that will just make the rumors more harmful." He said, rolling his eyes a bit to himself. "They couldn't even come up with something more creative than that? Instead of a beautiful woman, I'm sleeping with the runners--no offense but you must admit that is a piss poor excuse for a report. I hold no interest in you workers, believe me. And I had no such feelings in Markus. You know...or at least can understand that a contract is only muddied by physical relationships." He said, being blue with her in return while being his usual sarcastic self. He would rather take his time courting a rat than Maresol, the bitter little woman with a vendetta larger than her ego. He respected her strength, nothing more.

As they headed top side she lead him up through the lines, passing Markus and giving them a direct nod in greeting before continuing up with Alejandro in tow. When he finally crossed the top he looked to be huffing a bit but it was probably from the change in air, she wasn't too sure but it was quite the climb for those not used to it. "It is good to have a friend here,This is my place on this ship. I watch everything- at all times. Any ways- ti is good that you labeled them as a relative- it will help me convince Kole that its nothing that was brought to the front by an idiot. And I agree completely- relations ships are only there to interest ones company- else its useless and a waist of energy honestly. I have a relationship with the sea- she is my lover and I keep an eye on her as she throws her many fits- I can't leave her." Fox said looking out to the water with a calm expression as she suggested that she was married to the sea and she sough no human interaction as she didn't. Looking down in the dim lights on the deck was the the other top three on the navigation deck. "Look there, Captain and Kole- and Samantha. All three fearless in their own rights however Annaliese- she knows I am not human- she likes that about me she said. I'm still confused by her meanings but her advances are odd. She always asks me little questions- thought I can't answer her, I don't know enough about my self to do so." She said a little randomly to Ale since she often rambled to herself in her nest it was a comfortable habit.
----------------------------------- Annaliese watched as Fox escorted some one up the lines, making her riase a brow, looking to Sam who was watching this as well. "Do you think she made a friend?" Anna asked with a playful smirk getting a shake of Sam's head. "That strange child? No- probably business. She was asked to look into something by Kole earlier." She said in a bored sounding tone however she looked away as Anna frowned at her. "Fox isn't that strange- she is a magnificent creature- I just wished I knew what kind and what kind of power she has." She said more as a dream to look forward to but sighed after a bit of imagining mass destruction before turning a bit more Eastside as Sam recommended.

Heading up the lines was a trek, something Alejandro was not used to and it showed. He looked like an unsure child scaling a tree, clinging in places to avoid falling off with shifts of the boat and puffing like he ran a marathon. He noticed Maresol watching them with shock from a line and spared her a glare that warned she needed to keep her comment to herself. Instead she snickered, before nodding to Fox and returning to work. That was it, he wasn't going to live this moment of weakness down. When they finally got to the top, he stilled his breathing, leaning against the side of the nest as he got his bearings. He was not used to being this high up and it was a strange thing honestly. He stood still listening to her speak on the ship and what she thought for the story. It was odd to be so honest with someone, especially on the level that he was speaking with another supernatural being. He was so used to humans that he had begun to think like them in a way. Now he was able to have someone understand his actions without useless emotions tied to them or misunderstandings. Though he didn't know what Fox was, dare he say it, it was nice. Her comment about her relationship with the sea was not off to him or odd. He understood it. He loved himself and understood why. Non-humans understood the way emotional attachments worked for them, but she was wrong in a way. He didn't find the attachments a waste of energy or a hassle really. As long as they provided something for him he didn't mind them, as long as they held his interest. He was in a lot of things for self-preservation after all. "I'm glad you have that relationship with your home. I wish I could say the same, but I've been out of the water so long I'm no better than a land lover now." He said, his eyes on the water till she pointed out the crew on the wheel. He eyed up the three, his attention taking in details on the three. The man beside the captain, a strong looking boy, obviously a serious stickler for rules and such. He was her husband as rumor went, something he couldn't quite believe seeing the way the captain was. Annalise was a proud woman with a thrill seekers mind. She was a ruthless leader and seemed powerful, though if it was a farce she was doing well to hide whatever emotional mess was beneath it. He knew her type, a little too well. As for Sam, he got a read that she was the stoic sort, a woman that had to scrap most of her life to get where she was. No doubt she was not into delicate sorts of things, probably always been in this life of piracy. His look turned serious when Fox spoke of them, her tone almost endearing of Annalise. He understood what she was feeling towards the woman for being interested in her. That only solidified further to him that the woman had grander plans it seems. "Fox. From one being to another that doesn't necessarily belong in their world...If I've learned anything from humans, it's that the only relation they seek with our kind is out of necessity. It is our interest to hold all the cards when dealing with these irrational creatures, else they will seek to use you as a tool to be cast aside when their interest wears thin. If I'm to help you realize anything about yourself, you must be careful with exactly who you trust with that information. They could use it to make your life a living hell." He said, looking at the people for a moment, watching the Captain for a moment with some interest before looking back to Fox with a half smile. "Now how exactly did you get in league with this odd collection of characters?" He asked, since heft it would be important to find out a bit more about her.

She nodded at his comment about having been too far from home too long. She felt an odd call from the sea and when she left for long periods of time- her health deteriorated quickly. When he stated his opinion about humans and how they used she nodded, already knowing this. "Yes, they use just as much as we do, I know this...However some are worthy of trust-very few but it is rare." She stated to Alejandro to let him know she did what she knew she must to survive like any other would. "Odd? I wouldn't call them that. Captain- Excuse me- Lady Annaliese Everleigh of the British Isles- married- well was married to Commodore William Robert Russell I believe...This was his ship- obviously things went differently and its hers now. Kole- her older brother was once in the British military- Lieutenant commander I believe. She married to promote her brother then got her ship and killed everyone. She had an extravagant plan Alejandro. it spanned years but she never ceased to fall behind on our payments and kept us up to date on things- she is ruthless and meticulous. I met both of them when I was contracted by them to join the ship's crew- had to have one odd one as Captain said. Samantha- Acting lieutenant- She and I were together in the last ship we ran with. She saved me from a slave trading ring when I had been land side too long. I was weak and she had no reason to save me- but she did- thinking I wasn't capable of much until she handed me a knife. " She stated these facts easily since she had been looking into things for years and knew quite a bit of valuable information on everyone here- so if Alejandro wanted to play in the deep end he was going to need her help. "I'm assuming thats enough information to process for one evening?" She asked with a smirk before leaning over the top of the basket and flashing a lantern four times, causing the ship to move more to the South. Samantha and her had a code so things went smoothly- though it wasn't very well spoken between the two when it came to personal things.
