Alejandro was a bit caught off guard by her statement, especially since it held a bit about some being trustworthy. She could tell herself that till her face turned blue...he honestly didn't care because that wasn't his skin on the line in that situation. She would learn in time that no one was trust worthy beyond yourself and the best way to ensure you came out on top was to afford no one the power to harm you. Trust was just another method of control he afforded none that he couldn't control. He raised a brow when she spoke on her comrades, hitting home that she was smarter than she acted. So she did keep tabs on these characters...All having a past that fit what he could sense from their energies. So if she was keeping tabs on these humans, why was she hiding up in a nest and taking orders from them. Didn't she realized if she trained her powers just right she could become strong enough to take a ship of her own, never leave her ocean again. No, she was attached to them it seemed..."I see you know a good deal about your allies. Even owe your life to one. At least they sound decent." He said, not saying he was was wrong or right about his advice he gave. She could take it for what it was or leave it. It mattered not. "I thought I sensed betrayal on this ship. Our captain is a bit more interesting than I thought then..." He said more to himself before looking to the lamp she flashed, noticing that the boat moved. "You know people talk and say her brother is her husband? It had me fooled with their attachment." He said wondering just why Annalise kept the rumor around since it was well spoken of on the ship. It seemed odd to let those around you assume you were married when the truth of stealing a ship for yourself and murdering your husband in cold blood was so much more legendary of tale of a would be pirate queen.

"Rumors will be as they are- nothing but a here say comment that others take a fancy too. They act married?- perhaps- do they look close enough to be married?- perhaps. He is over protective just as Annaliese is over the ship. She treats it as her husband and we are her misbehaving children...She won't hesitate sending us back to the void." She said since it was obvious he had a few more questions but she wasn't going to answer much. "I owe nothing to Sam. She may have opened my cage but she did nothing else. I had to kill everything to get out. I sacrificed another boy I ran into trying to escape- he was a good human shield. I found her again in the ports- looking for a new ship- covered in blood she didn't look to kindly except for when a noble lady comes over and offers to buy us a drink...You tell me what kind of attention she was looking for?" She asked mentioning how she got where she was and how she wasn't afraid to throw anyone under the bus but shew as trying to be more human to help the ship function better. After a moment of silence she sighed glancing down at the woman she respected for the chance to live but didn't really care for. "Trying to live is better then dying-make your self useful and kill something before you get gutted." She repeated the words Sam gave her before spitting in pity on the ground and leaving her. She wasn't proud of that moment but she remembered it to make herself stronger now.

News on the reasons they left the rumors alone was that it was bette not to address them. there would be no point to fuel it honestly, especially since they acted so close anyways. Her comment about her treating the ship as a husband made Alejandro a bit curious. So this woman really was attached to this vessel, not just in big talks on deck. That put a damper on Maresol's plan to take this ship. His power could aid her, but he wouldn't be able to really use a spell properly without detection if Fox was around. That and he was sure that the over protective brother was going to be a problem when getting to Annalise, while the woman herself looked very capable. Seems it wasn't to be...He was going to have to tell Maresol that before she got herself killed and his contract voided. Not that he couldn't make another contract, but he would be severely diminished at that point since he always had to put a bit of his power behind a contract to secure it. He pondered over just what to do about this, since it seemed this ship would be the wrong match...they needed to be on their way to collecting the treasure ehe needed, not playing crew t someone else's pirate fantasy. He was surprised to hear that Fox had it in her to kill or that she readily looked to join a crew with Samantha. Then again, when desperate who wouldn't kill or cling to a way out? He raised a brow at the words she spoke next, figuring they weren't her own. They were insightful in a way, since he lived by something similar. No one would fight for your survival except for yourself after all. "You survived. An admirable feat given the circumstance...I wasn't here to bring up your past or cause any harm to your relationships here." He said before looking to the water, noticing it was getting on in the evening. "Pardon any assumptions I've made. I simply am speaking my mind." He said before he gave a shrug, figuring she wouldn't have kept talking if she was offended. " As I said before, I don't mean anyone harm here." He said, since he was now sure that Maresol needed a new plan.

"None taken- no damage done." She explained easily to him since she felt fine about this conversation. It was as it was- the Past, nothing could change it so why bother honestly besides to remember it? "You should head down soon, we will be in port before long-You don't want to caught up here- your light skin will burn on a sunny day." She said honestly since she didn't want him being in pain for hearing her helper more or less to finding out more about her self. ------------------ Annaliese watched as the man descended the lines and went back down bellow, she did watch them, before glancing back up at Fox who was standing on the edge of the nest looking over it at her. She knew she was watching her conduct business, an odd things for her to be out and about honestly unless she was excited about something. She took a rope and swung down, landing with a heavy thud on the deck by her, the railing under her feet as she caught it just right. Looking at her, her eyes had a deep white glow to them in the moon light since she wasn't human after all. "Did you need something Captain?" She asked quietly since they were close on the deck. "I was simply wondering if you made a friend?" She asked her in a polite tone sounding humored by one of her many children. "I have. When Kole asks its false rumor and I've stopped it." She said letting her know the answer to her brothers' issue. She gave a nod before looking back to Fox with an unspoken question. "Have you been working on that thing I asked about?" She asked her quietly, her face serious. "I have. I gathered some data on it and have enacted some things- before the last port- this new crew- there will be one I can find to use..." She said easily since Fox had a small issue- another reason she wasn't allowed to be in the crew quarters alone...With a nod she let her leave as she moved back to the mizzen mast and scaled it quickly to her nest to be watchful- as well as watched.

(ooh I'm curious what this little problem is lol)
Alejandro blinked when she told him to leave because they would be at port soon and his skin might burn. He wasn't sure about that but he left at her request since he was beginning to feel tired and was sure he was going to be questioned by Maresol over what he was doing with Fox. He went down the ropes with some grace before making his way to where his room was. As he expected, Maresol was there, reclined back in her cot and looking to be close to sleep. When Alejandro closed the door behind him and made his way to his cot, Maresol sat up, looking expectant. When he ignored her and instead got ready to crawl in for sleep, she gave him a sassy huff. "What were you talking with Fox about?" She asked, making Alejandro look over his shoulder as he worked to pull his shirt over his head. "Unimportant matters that don't concern you and information about this crew." He said as he pulled the shirt off and crawled into his cot. Maresol sat there, looking a bit annoyed that she wasn't being told the whole story. Weren't they supposed to be working together to get this treasure of his. "And what was this news on the crew?" She asked which gave Alejandro reason to not so delicately word his next response. No need to sugar coat things. "To take this ship would be a suicide mission. We need a new plan." Her brows furrowed before her temper got the better of her, her expression turning livid. "Do not tell me you are going soft on me because you have some sort of reserve for your little friend in that crows nest." She hissed, figuring that he was flirting with the strange woman and was now hesitant to have her harmed in the mess of taking over the ship. Alejandro's eyes shifted to her, the green almost a poisonous color in the dark as he glared at Maresol. She felt her breath catch in her throat, feeling the air around her turning thick with a dangerous pressure. It felt like something was bearing down on her, crushing the air from her slowly, like soon it would begin snapping bones. She hadn't ever felt truly afraid for herself around Ale, but something about the way he reacted to her comment made her truly think he might kill her. Poised in his bed with a flippant look, he gave her a shake of his head. "Never lecture me again you vapid corpse. I am stating that if you or I try anything against this crew, they will end the uprising before it begins. Fox is not fully human, she can sense my magic and will alert Annalise, the captain, if I use my persuasion on anyone of real standing. If her brother, Kole, doesn't cut my head off for harming his sister, Fox or Samantha will before they feed you to the sharks. It is not wise to risk my goal when we can simply revaluate or leave when we reach port tomorrow. I've lived too damn long to parish for your fucking pride. It matters not." He snarled before he rolled over ignoring Maresol in favor of sleep. His body needed rest, something he had grown accustomed to from being on land so long. At first it had been an odd concept but now he had little choice if he wanted to survive. Maresol let Alejandro look away, feeling the strange pressure lift so she could actually settle back down. She swallowed hard, easing back into her bed as she thought over the change in plans. So they really were screwed...And here she thought this would be easier but it seemed she couldn't get lucky...So instead she would suffer being stuck on a ship as a lowly peon till she died or he decided to collect...She had to kill the men that killed her father and get this treasure to save her life...She couldn't do that serving this bat shit crazy crew...

As the sun came up Annaliese pulled the ship into port, calling for lines and such- getting docked easily- the sun working on rising still- about mid morning perhaps- the mountains in the back ground with thick trees hiding most the isle. This port allowed her to dock- thankfully. She went and got supplies- this port knowing her by reputation alone- none really messed with her or her known crew. This was also the port she picked up Samantha and Fox at- having traveled a short bit to find some one of- well their skill sets. Heading to the tavern she spoke with the bar men getting information easily- slipping some coin his way as was how things worked. A gold coin went far here. Kole watched the ship pull into port, staying well out of the way of the running men as they threw the lines and got things ready to dock. His sister went land side while he stayed, giving her a list of things they needed for the ship and special requests made of the crew. He counted the crew as they went ashore to keep count on board- keeping a few men on board to watch the ship and work on things should bad weather come in. He had a bad feeling it would since just off to the west there was a long grey streak in the sky meaning a storm. Samantha followed Annaliese about, making sure things were fine- also getting a few drinks knowing it was well earned. After business of course was handled and they had things taken back to the ship- or arranged to be there by eve, they headed to the tavern. Most of the crew was there happily enjoying their drinks and the girls. "One round on me boys!" Annaliese said with a smile, her hair down about her for a change as she left her hat off. She was in a more relaxed outfit, much more cleavage then usual as she didn't bother buttoning her blouse- but her corset was still just as tight. Her pants were fitting, her boots about thigh high, a smooth black leather. She looked the role of female sailor however it was just her slacking off on her appearance since she had no one to impress- why did she care. The men cheered as she went and paid the bar keep- making sure everyone got their drinks, she didn't mind if it kept the loyal- she would pay some for their entertainment. She took a seat and kicked up her feet on a table taking a drink of wine Sam had brought from the boat for her, she was still a drink snob, even if she were a pirate now. ------------------------ The sky had gotten darker with the approaching storm and it made Fox feel itchy to leave the ship a little- perhaps a swim? She scaled the lines and moved to the deck, moving to the forecastle- to the bowstrip she crouched there on the wood, looking longingly at the water, however when some one spoke behind her she stiffened- having not noticed them there. "What are you up to now?" Asked Kole who was watching her odd behavior. "Was thinking of going for a swim while we are at bay- perhaps before the storm...was thinking about it..." She said her voice was normal however at the end when she repeated her words there was a soft longing there. "Then get in already- your clothes will dry later." He said as though she weren't allowed in the water. She looked at him and grinned, liking his lack of knowledge of her- his sister would have told her no and waited till the storm. "Alright- if Annaliese asks- I'm in the sea." She said as she simply let go of the wooden pole and dived into the water- making absolutely no splash- even from her height. ------------- Her mind was full of beautiful music- things she wanted to sing for it- things she needed to do for her beloved ocean. The water sang to her- made her feel alive- full of vigor and happiness however she was stuck on a boat surrounded by her love- but far from it at the same time. Often times it made her get an odd hunger in her gut- one that only flesh could satisfy- so Annaliese only let her out and into the water once in a great while- letting her know it was a reward each time. this time however Kole let her go- knowing nothing...He would learn, but she didn't care now- she ahd her beautiful water surrounding her. She stayed there under the water- no needing to breath there as she was relaxed and didn't need air here- out of water she ahd to learn to live with out the water- so she took what she could from the air- through the air.

After the two rose to help with work, they let a quiet settle over the two since the harsher words earlier. They knew they needed to be said, but it didn't make the idea that they would have to regroup and come up with another tactic was not a good thing exactly. He knew on port they would have more room to talk and plot, but Alejandro was hardly feeling patient enough to give it much thought. He felt so far away from his goal at the moment it was almost maddening...He had waited too long for this to play the stupid games of politics... Maresol worked hard to secure the ship with the others before looking to go port side. She felt she would be allowed to go since she was one of the newer crew and Alejandro had already left ahead of her with the others to the tavern. He had said something about excitement from all the boring... They had a lot to discuss and more to talk on after all. She knew that he was pissed with her still, but she had no room to dally and repair feelings. He wouldn't want that either. They understood each other in the sense that they were hardly ones to mince words or hold back when something bothered them. But he was a powerful creature that held her life in his hands with their bargain. Though she knew he needed her to truly attain his goal, he couldn't ever be clear with her that he couldn't replace her easily if he was truly angry with her. She huffed and walked toward the porting point of the ship where the others were, however she paused when she saw a woman, who she identified as Fox, suddenly run for the railing and throw herself over the railing in a dive. Wide eyed shock was evident on Maresol's face as she tried to process what she saw before she leapt into action. "Oh my god!" She went to the side of the boat, looking into the water frantically since the height from any point of this ship was high enough that the water would be like hitting cement. It was hardly common also to see a woman pitch herself overboard like that. She searched the water for a body or any sign that she was injured, but thee wasn't even ripple, let alone bubbles or a sign that someone even jumped. She was a bit freaked out by that and quickly looked for someone nearby. She found Kole, wondering if he just witnessed what she did. "Did she just jump off the boat? I-I don't see a body so I assume she isn't injured--" She said, since her first thought was that she went nuts and tried to off herself in the water. Didn't she know that shake hung around the marinas and what if there was wreckage or shrapnel beneath the waves? ~~~ Alejandro had taken to the tavern for a bit of drinking and some fun before he was forced back into the confines of the ship. He wasn't used to being on the waves and it was starting to feel confined to him. He took to a table at the tavern, enjoying the company of a few of the patrons as well as a few women that were obviously there for cash not pleasure of company. He listened to the exchange of stories of adventure, tall tales of heroisms and plunder beyond imagination that made Ale smirk or simply enjoy them as he would a child's tale. If only they really knew the power of those sea monsters they claimed to vanquish or the true terrors of the sea that could only awake in their nightmares...When a pretty young woman joined their group, her chest barely hidden behind the lace of her bodice and her corset lace undone some, Alejandro hardly was one to push her away. She was obviously drunk and she was a woman that frequented the tavern for gentlemen to persuade out of their money. Or so he gathered from the cat calls she got from locals. It seemed she took a liking to Alejandro, especially because he had been taken to drinking with the captain of the ship's offer. She had seen that massive vessel and knew that with a boat that large the crew was paid well and the captain was loaded. Perhaps there was money to be made there. "Oh Tom you tell the same story to every newcomer hoping they'll believe you." She snickered before sitting beside Ale, her hand going to his knee forwardly despite the protest of the drunk local she kicked out of the seat in favor for attention. "What about you stranger? Any stories to share? I do love a good story." She said with a girlish giggle, which got her a half smile from Alejandro. Oh the stories he could tell, but he knew very well it wasn't stories she was after. "Sadly ma'am I have few that are believable. I prefer listening to other people's stories and entertaining in other ways..." He said, getting a funny look from the woman till with a slight of hand he withdrew a bit of gold from behind her ear, ordering a drink for him and the 'lovely' lady. She gave him a smile, her look almost innocent since she was drunk enough to not understand how he did that. "Oh a gypsy are you? Magic and that mess is interesting. Sadly the people round here are a superstitious lot...Might get you in trouble." He gave her a raise of his brow, offering a bit of a laugh. "No trouble here. Just a few tricks I picked up from others. Like fortune telling." Her expression brightened, eyes widening some with girlish excitement at the idea. Seems he hooked a gullible one, good for him. He was feeling a down lately and could use a little distraction. "Oh you mean like palm reading? I've always wanted to try it! My clients had gone to see the gypsies last time they ported and said all her predictions came true." He nodded along with her story, figuring they had paid a pice to a sea witch and not some simple gypsy...He took her readily offered palm and game the lines a small flirtatious trace. She bit her lip, seeming to be playing up the interaction and feeling that she had found her score for the night. He looked easily at her person in small places, finding a small rose stitched into her dress, hinting at a custom the ladies of the french quarter did. He also noticed that beneath the damage from the sun, there was a pretty girl, her dress slip suggesting she fancied herself high class. And he could smell the scent of something strong on her, a perfume that he had once smelled on the women of wealth in Seville. After playing a momentary notice, pretending to see something in her palm, he gave her a cocky smile. "I see here you will live a long life, one that will take many paths leading to a destiny of grandure. I see you living in wealthy means, married to count no doubt in...my my he's french." He said, noticing how her face lit up at the mention. Seems he had pegged something right and she was buying it. "You're kidding. There is french man that I have been seeing often around here...Perhaps..." She gave a blush that made him think they had been doing more than seeing, something that made his attention go back to her palm in favor of keeping up this little game of how much bullshit she could believe. "And well, I also see that you will meet a handsome stranger that finds you to be a pretty sight after days at sea." He said, making her attention go from her thoughts to Ale with a coy grin. "Oh is that so? And what is in my future with this stranger?" He winked, leaning into whisper in her ear something to make her blush. The girl gave a feign gasp and pushed hard against him, meaning it to be playful but it ended up knocking his chair back enough to hit the bar maid that was returning with their drinks. The beer went all down the young whores outfit, making her sputter and gasp at the piss poor drink all over her. Ale was angered at first by the fact it got on his sleeve, but had to quell it when he saw the woman looked like a drowned cat. A laugh escaped him and the others at the table, receiving a glare from the whore. She hauled off and slapped him quite hard before scurrying off, leaving Alejandro to nurse his now aching cheek despite humor still coloring his features.

Kole glanced over the Markus when he asked about some one going over board he nodded. "Indeed. She does that from time to time. Leave her be, she will be fine- at least she didn't jump from the nest this time- that time it scared half the crew." He stated before glancing back down at his list and yelling at a dock hand to put a crate down properly else he would blow out his back before they were even finished. He turned back to the boy however afterards. "If you don't want to help move crate I suggest getting ashore- The Captain might be giving out drinks at the tavern- don't wanna miss that." He said since it was how Annaliese raised moral occasionally. ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````` Annaliese was watching her crew, finding on humorous- he was a 'gypsy' as the whore said- she found that humorous. She had seen these tricks from other navy men before this girl was just dumb. She watched as things progressed until the man fell and the beer went as well making her snicker behind her hand, getting an odd look form Sam who wasn't used to hearing her laugh about something petty like that. She motioned for Sam to fill her glass again, getting a new full one before she told Sam to go give it to the man who fell. She frowned but did so, giving him a hard look. "The Captain sends her regards in your spilled spirits. Enjoy." She said before she turned, going tot he bar keep and getting a new cup. Annaliese gave the man a smile when he looked her way before taking a sip of the new wine and smiled at how smooth it tasted. He had entertained her so she figured it was worth some payment. A few other sailors were looking at Alejandro like he was the bees knees suddenly however- getting a gift from the Captain that wasn't a bullet to the skull was a miracle. They were talking to him about how he impressed teh Captain- all ebing inquisitive about it a few already be sodded but they wanted to know.

As Alejandro got situated in his seat properly, he suddenly found he was approached by none other than the Captain's first little henchwoman that Fox had called Samantha. He looked the woman over, searching for a weapon or sign he was in trouble. After all her look was hardly inviting and she barely looked the approachable sort. When he found no sign of immediate danger, he eased but looked skeptical of her. When she instead placed a drink down and said something about it being a gift from the Captain, his brows rose and he looked a bit surprised. Had the woman been watching that encounter? And if so was this drink out of pity or favor? He gave Samantha a nod and a small "thanks" before he leaned a bit to look around her as she walked off. He caught sight of the Captain looking in his direction. Though that wasn't all he noticed about her from across the room, especially since her outfit left little to the imagination that she was a pretty woman under all her finery and gear she wore on the ship. He raised the drink in her direction, a sign of thanks before he proceeded to given it a try. No sooner had he actually began drinking, men were over toward him and falling over themselves at the idea that he had actually gotten a positive response from the woman. Was she really so ruthless as to make the men see her as an unattainable queen? Perhaps that was best, considering those that asked were smashed at the moment and hardly worth her time. No Annalise didn't look the type to play around with small fish in her big pond. No she kept them in line instead and fawned over her ship...As Fox said she fancied herself that it was her husband. Too bad. Ships couldn't warm ones bed or dote upon her favor. Perhaps she didn't want that or maybe she found that in other places? He found his mind and logic a bit stumped by her, something that bothered him as well as intrigued him. He knew better than to stick his nose into her business, but it was hard not to be curious about a woman in power that could be an influential ally to have. He played along with the talks, using them to find out more without seeming overly interested. The drunk dolts told him of her brutality and the way she coveted the attention of her 'husband'. After a story about her executing a few conspirators on the main deck infant of everyone, Maresol joined the audience, making Alejandro a little impressed with her timing... ~~~ Maresol looked positively dumbfounded that the woman could survive that kind of fall, but hadn't Alejandro said she wasn't human? Perhaps whatever she was had a knack for water? She noticed that Kole was barking orders again, talking about moving crates which was undesirable to say the least. She left to head ashore, figuring she had left Alejandro to his own devices for too long. It would only be a matter of moments before he could find a way to get himself in trouble. She had been with him for a few months now and found that for an older supernatural being he didn't like fitting in necessarily with the crowd. He did it enough to blend, but even then she could tell he looked down on everyone around him. Perhaps that just came with power, but she hardly was one to turn her nose up at others without just cause. He liked to mock her for her vendetta, but she sensed there was something deep inside him that made him hate humans. He would never tell her of course, just as he never really explained how he came to find her in the prison, revive her, escape, and then find her again. She was pulled from her thoughts when she saw a few men that she recognized from the ship heading into a busy tavern. She entered quickly, not finding Alejandro initially since he was surrounded by a few men. Knowing him she was surprised it wasn't a few women instead. When she noticed the exchange with the Captian however, her eyes narrowed some curiously. Seems he was mister popular tonight? She moved in, easily slipping past men since she was smaller and could move through their clumsily made gaps. When she was level with Alejandro, he noticed her almost immediately and gave her a smile. "Ah Markus I see you can join everyone. Good. Have a drink and loosen up. You look sour in the face and it might stick that way." He joked, handing her a brew he pulled from a bar maid nearby, shoving it into her unready hands. It sloshed a bit, coating her hands and making her grimace some at how bad it smelled. She was never a drinker, detested it honestly. "I saw that look from the Captain...Everyone's making comments about it here." She muttered to him, making Alejandro shrug some, though his eyes stayed on Maresol as he drank. She noticed the look and knew that he was thinking on something. "I think plans have changed for tonight at least...I rather like the prospects here at least till we are closer to one of our destinations." He said in a low tone, making Maresol raise a brow. Seems they had more to discuss, but she was confused why suddenly he felt like staying longer. Didn't that mean putting up with this crew more. Figuring she couldn't rightly argue here, since she had no other alternative, she gave a gruff sigh before easing into a seat next to him. She hated the waiting game, but figured he had a plan somewhere in all of this that would get him where he needed to be. He was the one seeking this treasure after all, not her...

The storm was stating tho pick up a bit, wind rocking the ship as it stayed I dock, anchor pulling lightly In the white sand just under the water. Fox stayed there, feeling the water shift, knowing a storm was coming and it would be a hard one, thankfully they were docked. HMGrace was a fine ship but even a rouge wave could harm her..Annaliese knew this, the woman was smart with her trips as well a her crew. The unlucky bastards figured this out, some getting greedy and getting killed- all human nature to want more then they deserved, want being allowed to live good enough for them? Guess not since some choose tho blatantly disobey and ended up sloshed on the deck only tho be scrubbed up baby the remaining crew and thrown into the sea for the sharks. She did feel the show burn in her gut beginning however she knew out want time yet, she would wait till the storm and say they"fell". Just like all the times before... --------------------------------------------------------------- Annaliese eventually got Samantha to have a seat and drink with her since she could be dull for a pirate. Always the responsible once perhaps but even she needed to loosen up once in a while. Her eyes stayed again tho the man she had been watching earlier setting him interact with the other crew members who Were utilizing him for her favor. That admitted her however she knew, as well as the crew did that her attention was fickle.A Few more drinks I , she was stating tho feel good, however Sam had given up being responsible and was red faced I the table slurring worse then the town drunk. "Sam...you should learn to hold your spirits better in the company of your betters...it's a little unsightly for the men as well..." she commented however Kole showed up tho escort her back to the ship before it started to rain. It was a quick trip back before he doubled back to get Sam who had started singing drinking sons with the band... The men thought she was just being a good sport when in reality she was to drunk to properly function.
-------------------------------------
After he got them settled into their beds he sighed feeling this storm was going to make some sick. Heading back out he noticed most of the crew was still land side,a few shuffling about, nothing out of the usual. He did however glance up into the lies to be sure no once was stupid enough tho be up there in a storm at dock. Thankfully the lines where clear, making him wonder about Fox, not having seen her in a hours or more since she went for a swim...

The pair stayed in the tavern a little longer, drinking and enjoying time with the crew, though that was to end soon. Alejandro commented about the weather often and reminded her they needed to be back on the boat. Apparently there was a storm approaching and he felt it might be a serious. Things began winding down in the bars, people began clearing out to the streets to get back to the boats that weren't still messing around with the girls at the bar. As people she knew from the boat began drinking, Maresol was fed drinks since she hardly wanted them on her own, but it did the job of knocking her on her ass soon enough. By the ned of it she was using Alejandro for balance and looking drowsy. "Your cousin is a light weight. We need to fix that." Dan snickered, a boy that was younger than her and yet outdrank Maresol. Alejandro gave him a nod, rolling his eyes when Maresol drunkenly tried to protest. She wasn't nearly to Samantha's level of joining the band, but she was definitely not alright on her own. After excusing themselves from the group, much to Maresol's annoying protest, he helped her at east back to the ship. She moaned and groaned, saying she was going to be sick but kept it down with more incoherent muttering about things. Alejandro knew he had to keep an eye on her, though he wasn't pleased about it, especially since she was making him haul her around in an on coming storm. The wind was kicking up, the waves crashing against the port as thunder rumbled above them. He could feel the power from the storm and he drew in a deep breath of the salt air. It reminded him of the past, when his kind could play in the storms and use them to their advantage. Now it would cost his life energy to even try to control this one. He hated weakness, but it was part of the life he lived now. When rain began to fall, he pulled Marsol along even faster to get her on board. When they reached the boat and on the deck, the pitching from the waves and the upset from the thunder made Maresol gag, running to the side of the ship to vomit into the water. Alejandro rolled his eyes, wondering how this woman survived living on a pirate ship before without drinking. He let her heave up what was bothering her, but kept a watchful eye from where he was a bit away from her. COuldn't have her slipping and falling overboard...

The Sea was excited- wanting blood this evening- and Fox was more then happy to oblige her. She waited- watched as the shadows above her on the docks flickered as people ran about to get out of the rain that had started pouring upon them. Some were jumping to the ship as the board had already been pulled- since it would only fall into the water with the storm. Her limbs were bare- having ditched her clothes already since they were a hindrance- however her smooth skin was spotted with scales. They were near translucent as they would probably simmer lightly in the mood light. Her feet had webbing for a better push as well as her fingers-No gills were needed since she got all her water she needed there- and it was a wonderful euphoric experience for her. Her eyes a full black as she watched everything about her- her mouth full of sharpened teeth- her pale skin nearly matching the white sand on the bottom easily hiding her from the surface. She waited patiently a bit however when she heard a splash after a heave of a large wave even move her over- feeling the ship move even in its wake. It was probably a break of a rouge wave from the main sea- thankfully it broke down the closer to land it got. Hearing a splash, her eyes popped open and she darted to it- thinking it was something to eat however it was something- no- some one she was supposed to be watching. They were flailing helplessly it seemed, it was enticing from her perception however she knew Alejandro wouldn't be happy with her eating his little contract. Pulling herself close she drug them under water quickly- finding them pulled close to their body- feeling things that weren't male-was this Markus? Looking them over it was indeed the boy she was supposed to watch- but it was female...that would explain some things...With a heavy push from the bottom she flung herself, 'Markus' as well out of the water as she grabbed hold of the side of the ship and pulled her up over her shoulder. It was hard but with all the water she had absorbed she felt powerful- dangerous even though she was also hungry so there was that issue. Throwing her on the deck- her body made a thump as they coughed and moved away from her- eyes wide with shock at her appearance, not to mention she was mostly naked. Full black eyes on the 'boy' she looked at her however it was sadly some ones mistake to call out to them what was going on- dropping from a line towards them- in a storm it was dangerous. She didn't care whom it was however it was an older man- one she didn't know so it was perfect. Sprinting she lept up- a foot used to help propel herself up into the air and grab the man by the leg- a good twenty feet in the air-and slammed him into the deck-killing him. Her eyes wide as she bent over and simply began feeding as she needed. She felt an intense burn in her gut and she was going her best not to eat the idiot who fell sea side. Annaliese heard the thump and went out to the deck finding none other then two men and Fox- only she looked drenched- meaning she had been in the water- with out permission. With a sigh she removed her jacket and went forward seeing her eating a man- who she assumed was dead by now if he wasn't screaming. Her eyes went to the boy who look wet but safe who seemed to be horrified to see Fox- eating another human as it were. She put the jacket over her shoulders and smiled at her as she looked up at her a little startled but didn't react before taking a few more mouth full almost greedily. "Take that sea side- the men could be backs soon. Return when you get your fill." She stated easily before giving the two a hard look before leaving them be. If Fox ate them for witnessing then she was fine with it- it was there problem now not hers. She went back into her quarters knowing standing around in the rain did her no good. Her brother was helping Sam not get sick thankfully and she was reading soem papers she had acquired.

As she paused her throwing up, Maresol noticed something shimmering farther off in the water. She blinked, unsure of what it was. Suddenly, a rogue wave surged the deck, disrupting the shimmer enough that it was hard to see it. She leaned forward a bit in drunk curiosity, not paying attention to the slick boards beneath her or the fact that the wind was strong enough to upset her balance. Alejandro noticed her teetering and instantly snapped in her direction a Spanish order to "stop being stupid and get away from there". No sooner had the words left his mouth, a strong gust pitched her forward, sending her head first over the railing and into the dark waters below. Alejandro turned as pale as a ghost, his body feeling cold and a tense energy taking over him. He was frozen in shock a moment before the panic and horror hit, sending him running for the side of the ship in a mad dash. He slid into the railing hard, but it caught him before he could tumble into the raging water himself. He searched the surf for Maresol, finally spotting her bobbing back up amongst the waves. She flailed and yelled, trying her best to grab hold of something and avoid being slammed against the boat. She had seen sailors die like this before, but in her drunk panic she was blind in finding a way out. Suddenly she was pulled under the water by a strange force, something having hold of her in a vice grip. She screamed under the water bubbles flying and blocking her view momentarily as she struggled to get away from whatever slimy creature had her. When the bubbles cleared and the moonlight reached the creature's face, Maresol felt her heart stop and fear freeze her in place. A creature like a razor toothed fish held her in place, watching her with eyes that were black soulless pits that looked predatory. She stared into the creature's face despite the salt water burning her eyes, thinking this was the way she was going to die. In a split moment, the creature carried her upward into the water, propelling them to the deck. She released Marseol into an incoherent heap on the deck, leaving a frantic Alejandro to collect Maresol, who struggled away from the creature. She was shivering hard though he didn't know if it was from being cold or if it was over the creature on the deck. Alejandro looked at the being, sensing it's energy and watching for swifter movements. He could sense familiarity in her and realized almost instantly that it was Fox. It had to be...Though she looked a bit different, he got a read on what she was by quite a bit. He couldn't be completely sure without a proper test, but he was sure she had some form of Siren in her. His kind were mer-type creatures if they never gave up their bodies for another and came in contact with sirens often. After all, both enjoyed death and feeding off the remnants of ship wrecks in different ways. His kind enjoyed energy and feeding from life forces. Her kind had a bloodier hunger. He was shocked she hadn't eaten Maresol, But figured she retained herself enough to remember their small compromise. He would have to thank her later since he was in her debt now...that is if she didn't go back on her word and try to eat them. He tried to gather his life energy, keeping a hold on the force there in case he needed to use it. A good dose of lightning could knock her on her ass at least long enough for him to get Maresol away. He needed her alive after all, enough to keep her body viable to heal and for him to take over it. When another sailor took away Fox's attention, Alejandro turned his attention to Maresol to tend to her since he knew how the other would end. The wet sounds of munching and tearing flesh Drew Maresol's attention as she stared wide eyed and terrified by Fox. She felt like her body couldn't stop shaking and there was a chill down her spine. That thing was eating someone, ripping a human apart like it was a piece of jerky. "Maresol." Alejandro took her chin with his hand, forcing her to look at him. She was still pale and sickly looking and he could tell by her terror that she was scared. "Are you hurt? Bleeding?" He asked, looking her over but finding no injuries on her. She shook her head, opening her mouth a bit to answer but the captain was suddenly there with them. Alejandro looked at Annalise, keeping a hold on Maresol as the woman tended to Fox. Her simple acceptance of Fox's appearance and the dead man was news enough of what Fox meant by trusting Annalise. She knew about Fox and fed her, of course she trusted the woman. When she left after ordering Fox to take her meal elsewhere, Alejandro collected Maresol and took her below deck. He didn't take his eyes off Fox and made very sure she stayed where she was with her food. He would have to speak to her later about this, see what she wanted done about them knowing. He wasn't going to tell a soul and Maresol wasn't either. He would be very sure of that. When he made it back to their shared room, he helped Maresol calm down and out of her soaking wet clothing. She changed back into her clothes from before, letting the others dry not far off. He kept her carefully monitored, not leaving room for her to get sick on him or start having a panick attack. After a while of silence in her bed, she finally spoke up. "That...thing. Are you one of those?" She asked and Alejandro gave her a shake of his head. "No. I'm as good as human with a bit of magical properties. That was a Siren I believe. Or your dear commander Fox." She paused, her eyes widening like she was being punked. Alejandro gave her serious look, being perfectly serious with her. "Do not say a word about it to anyone. She will eat you and I will let her." He gave Maresol a light pat on the head before motioning for her to lay down. "Now rest drunky. We have to work in the morning. I will be up a bit longer. She won't come in here." She nodded and drifted off to sleep, passing out from her ordeal that he was sure was traumatizing. It wasn't easy to see a man-eater up close and know that it was by sheer luck you weren't the meal.

Satisfied with what she had eaten, mostly the soft innards and perhaps an arm or a leg- she pulled the body into the water- leaving it for the sharks as the water took it out to sea. Waiting a bit she cleaned up before slipping back into the deck and wrapping her body in the Captain's coat before heading back up to the nest to change clothing since she had a stash there. Slipping into a large shirt and a pair of trousers she didn't bother getting it tucked in before moving back to then deck actually taking the long way and climbing down. She checked in with Annaliese, returning her jacket to let her know things were taken care of before crawling back up and sleeping in the nest, feeling the rain water on her skin- and the boat rocking, she fell asleep quickly and comfortable since she was full. ---------------- The next morning fox was running about with the other runners doing another man's job. She had of course eaten him on the very deck she was hoovering over but no one but three knew this. It appeared that Markus was avoiding her today- smart choice however she was going to speak with Alejandro first about his little play thing. Once the initial ship check was over she took a rope tot eh deck then went to find the man. He was at his post relaxing in the cargo bay as the ship set out. She looked at him a bit cautiously remembering having seen him last night but didn't speak. "Good morning Alejandro." She said softly to him since she didn't want to yell if he had a hang over.

When the two separated in the morning to go about their work, Maresol hardly looked ready to be on her own. She put on a brave face, or so Alejandro felt, as she worked with the rest. He kept an eye on her, keeping tabs on her in favor of being sure she wasn't doing anything to get herself killed. Seems she avoided Fox, a start in a good direction but that would have to be a bit less about hesitance. He ended up giving up and going about his own business, figuring he stayed away from his duties long enough. After they did their quick run over all the rations and ammunition they just acquired, Alejandro was allowed to relax. He sat thumbing through his journal, observing the details sketches and writings of study he had taken on the treasure he was after. It seemed one of the pieces he sought was owned by a collector in Jonesboro, a port near the Caribbean that wasn't too far from their track. Perhaps he could brew up a plan to get them to stop there? He was woken from his thoughts when someone spoke to him, a softer female voice that he knew well by now. He closed the journal and tucked it in his shirt, slipping from the crate he was sitting on to give Fox a smile in greeting. "Good morning to you Fox. I take it you rested well after the fun the other night at port. I know I didn't. Too much on the mind after all and Markus was sick and well--sharing a room with a light weight is always dreadful." He said, though he stayed awake more or less to be sure Maresol didn't do anything dumb or Fox truly left the situation alone. He didn't know her well enough to trust he on word, not when she was eating people on the deck like a ravenous dog. He gave a shrug before glancing back with an almost catty look in the direction of the other man in the cargo hold that he knew could hear their conversation. "What do I owe the honor of a visit? Though I should warn you. Me having a visitor here to relieve my boredom isn't savory enough for some. People might start to think I'm screwing you too." He said before giving her a more serious look past his sarcasm, figuring she was there to discuss things. He didn't feel this area was safe however since someone could over hear and he didn't want her business spreading. He owed her something for not eating his stupid contract....
