Fox noticed his hesitation to speak in front of the other man there so she turned to face him square on. "You- leave. Go top side for about twenty minutes. If I see you bellow deck I will have to let Kole know you are disobeying orders." She stated in a hard tone however The man left not wanting anything to do with Fox of her business there. Once he left she turned to look at him, closing the door and smiling at him. "Yes after a good feeding and some water I sleep very well. It only happens once every good storm. Next port we will have to pick up another runner- I don't want to run the man's job every day- too boring." She stated the truth since she was bored of just running the lines. "Also your little pet is female. I thought you would have determined the sex of it sooner." She said to him in a joking tone since she assumed he knew Markus was female. "Also...as for what you have seen...It can't be spoken of to the crew- or anyone. I trust you to keep your little snack under your thumb with it. Else things might get messy." She stated not being hostile in the slightest but honest since if it got out she was a man eater- the crew would go hay wire and Annaliese would have to put it down firmly and quickly. She was smart to know having the non human on board was better for her then humans so she would side with fox- not the crew- they were replaceable after all as they had already determined.

Alejandro found by her smile that he hadn't detrimentally harmed any relation with her by seeing her secret. He didn't want to be at odds with Fox, especially since he was just getting used to being around another non-human. He almost liked being able to discuss these things in a way. He listened to what she had to say about her predicament with eating and rest. He figured as much, since she appeared in a better mood. Her news about another runner made him od, since he understood it was mundane to do others work when you were already at the top and in command. "I'm sure there will be more to choose from. This ships draws a lot of characters in." He said before he gave a bit of a laugh at her comment about not knowing Maresol's sex. He didn't rightly care if she was male or female. He needed another host if he intended to actually stick around longer and continue to use his power, just as a guarantee really incase something went wrong in his plan to retrieve what he wanted. "Might as well be male with the mouth on her...but, I would ask that that remain a secret as well between us. I can't have men getting funny ideas here or for her to struggle further. I don't play nice when people mess with my toys." He said before listening to her bit about keeping things quiet, something he already factored out from the beginning. Did he look like a snitch or that he would allow Maresol to be one? The girl had a loud mouth but she wasn't stupid. At least not dumb enough to poke a snake in its den. She knew by watching Annalise the night before that she had no one on her side if she tried to call out Fox and what would it benefit her? She wanted to be around long enough to finish her little vendetta. "She won't talk and neither will I. I already warned her you would eat her and that I would allow it if she is stupid. Sirens were always clear on their word when I had my dealings with them over territory or their kills." He said before looking Fox over. "I believe that is what you are after last nights display. That is what you can tell Annalise if she asks from now on. Now the type or classification or your true abilities I would have to look further into. But I'm sure there is more to you than just corpse eating, Fox, as I'm sure you know or have noticed." He said before giving her a raise of his brow. "As for who knows, not that I would be spreading rumors or talking about this beyond you...I realize Annalise knows but is it just the captain? I suppose that's what you meant by trusting her earlier." He said since he was curious why Annalise kept Fox around if she was eating crew and could cause an uprising or scene...

She listened to Alejandro speak smoothly knowing he already knew Markus's sex correctly but didn't care. She nodded when he asked it remain quiet since she didn't care to go telling, obviously she only wanted to inform him. Her eyes got wide as moons as he told her that Sirens were clear on their words- meaning she was one perhaps. He said his thought on the mater afterwards- even bringing in Annaliese. She was quiet as she thought for a few moments getting her words together properly. "A siren ey?" She said with a bit of a interested look, trying to remember the human superstition. "Yes only Annaliese knows in the top ranks. To Samantha I am a creepy pale child- unusual. To Kole I am simply Fox- I stay in the nest and I handle my own. Besides a land bound witch I encountered a few years ago-Your the first I have spoken to about these things." She said to him since it was truth. She had once ben told by this witch to stay off land- that a boat would be ideal to coop with her human side.

Alejandro wasn't surprised to hear she kept that side of her hidden from most. However, he wondered just what Annalise sought to gain from their alliance or understanding. To cover for a creature that wasn't human could mean death for her or danger, or at the very least implicate her in worse. Fox didn't even know what she was, or that she could possibly have power that could make her a very large threat to others if she decided to use it. He had already seen a bit of her strength and ferocity in her truer form and it was enough to make him not want to piss her off near a body of water any time soon. Perhaps Annalise would be willing to enlighten him if he was able to get her alone to talk. Perhaps that was far fetched since if he followed what Fox said of her and the crew, she was a hard woman to actually impress much upon. He could always try to make her talk, but that required a lot of energy to work with stronger minds and could cause problems for him when others found out. Besides, what could he really gain from worrying himself over the plans of a human woman? It wasn't like she had anything to offer him more than entertainment at the moment, something he would enjoy amongst all the lesser parts of sailing. But not enough to get involved with another power hungry mortal that thought they were too smart for their own good. He nodded when she repeated his implication that she was a Siren, since he never said these things lightly. News that she had heard advice from another land bound witch made him smirk slightly. Since he wasn't the only witch to stick their nose in her business. "Well, I am indebted to you Fox for saving Maresol instead of eating her. In exchange I figured you deserved answers, or at least the information I could offer. I could offer more but I'd need to study you a bit more, learn a bit more about you or do something invasive with magic that I'm sure you aren't up for. I don't need you changing in front of the crew or losing hold of your sanity till I'm sure what you are working with." He said before giving a small hum of thought. "You met another witch that was land side? Seems a more common thing now. My people always tire of the mundane and seek other shores or creatures to sate our curiousity. Then you get stuck. I'm sure the advice they offered is best followed, that is if it has kept you alive this long." He said since he wasn't sure why she needed to stay sea bound when she could potentially go on land. It may weaken her, but she would survive it if she wasn't away long.

When he said he was indebted to her for saving his toy she simply blinked at him. "Indebted? Why?" She asked however she thought about it and it clicked better. "I see. I made a promise not to eat her. I was going to stick with it- besides she is stringy looking." She said with a frown of slight disgust since it looked like she might be sick if she had eaten the girl. "The advice I was offered was to stay on a ship. Out of the water until I am comfortable with changing. Rain doesn't seem to have an effect but large bodies of water." She stated easily to him as though she had read it from a book. "You are welcome to observe me if it pleases you and helps you understand however I wish to know when I am to be observed properly. So I don't get complaints of suspicion."

When Fox seemed confused at his thanks, he made a face, figuring that she wasn't used to being thanked for not eating someone. That was alright, he didn't expect to ever thank someone for not eating his charge. When she began talking about the advice she was given, he nodded, figuring it had to be something like that. It seemed that her transformations were then triggered by large bodies of water and being submerged. He figured she could care for herself and her own transformations so he wouldn't involve himself with that unless asked. He didn't favor the nastier bits of others business after all. there was hardy interest in it after all. He heard her request about being alerted to observation and he gave her a half smile. "Of course... Though I doubt the study would need to be in public eye or even at any time that wasn't at your convenience. Do you wish to know more though? I don't think I asked before I even began to pry." He said raising a brow at her before he shrugged and looked at the crates of artillery fire. "Regardless of research, seems we will be expecting something interesting soon? All of that ammo needs a place that I'm sure the captain is searching to fill." He said, since they had been idle long enough to know that something was at lest being decided upon. Annalise looked the type to get bored of monotony...

Fox nodded to his question. "I do wish to know more about myself- what I am. I wish to tell Annaliese about it as well. Perhaps you can speak with her and myself when we do speak? I'm sure she will wish to hear it- as well as know that I have help available." She stated offering an opportunity to him to perhaps help her further- not thinking of if Annaliese would be alright with or not. "As for the ammo- well you can't sense her blood lust lately? She is getting tired of peaceful things- she often goes on raids to spark some excitement in the crew. She is even kind enough to let some keep things should they find interesting objects." She said with a smile since it was true- she herself got to keep a sword they got off another captain's ship from a fight that was sea bound. The Spanish captain was dumb to shove her in the water- she not only dragged him with her but ate him- taking his things. "I'm sure most 'privateers' would be alright with this policy- most Pirates are." She stated easily since it was just them. Most of them were Pirates- some were simply hired on Privateers- so long as the pay was good they stayed. -------------- The ship smoothly left port and into the open water towards Spanish waters- one Annaliese had heard was about the time and place for a shipment of goods- she wanted in on that. Having the ammo moved properly she had things loaded and prepared before they arrived. She looked excited honestly- dressed up with her large hat with a fancy feather there in it moving lightly in the breeze. "Are you sure about this?" Kole asked her softly as she was at the helm, making her smirk at him. "Of course. I'm excited about this even. You know how much we can sell this cargo for? More then enough to pay off the crew a year." She said only to get a sideways comment from Samantha. "IF we can get it." She said in a tone that made it sound off. She gave her a dirty look but didn't respond before turning the wheel a bit to move more eastward. It didn't take long for Fox to emerge from bellow deck getting an odd look from her before she went up to speak with her. "What were you up to down there?" She asked in an accusative tone. "Speaking to a friend. He is helping me out with an issue of mine. What is our target?" She asked changing the subject. Annaliese gave her a look before letting it go since she was guessing it pertained to her inhuman behavior. "The Le Santos Ebra. Thats our target- should be a Frigate-with a Brig escort..." She said with a smile as she looked forward seeing a small smudge- she assumed a ship. Fox nodded before jumping over the rail and started climbing up the lines smoothly and quickly. She got out her spy glass and began searching- finding it up ahead thought it would still take an hour or so to reach with full sail. Fox looked over the rain and yelled that it was ahead and for full sail. "FULL SAIL!" Yelled Samantha as she got the message clearly, getting a look from Annaliese. Men began to run about in a hurried manner getting the sails down and things roped correctly as they moved to make things move quickly. "Recheck the cargo bay- get all cannons ready- prepare life ropes- All men arm up! Prepare the mortars for firing." Annaliese called over the deck getting a few idol men to scamper off.

Alejandro wasn't surprised that Fox wanted to know more about herself. It was only natural. He just wondered how she lived her whole life without knowing. Even when changing bodies, he still retained a piece of what he was, though some of it was mingled with the soul and life force of the body's previous owner. It was hard to completely lose yourself after all. He raised a brow when she said that she wanted Annalise there to hear, something he wasn't sure he was alright with let alone the other woman. That meant revealing himself and that could lead to a problem if Annalise was not as tolerant as Fox thought. He hardly wanted to deal with the repercussions of someone trying to use him. He however let her continue to talk about the artillery, something he had picked up on. So a fight was something that they wanted? Then he would have to keep Maresol closer and make sure she didn't die again...When she left to go to Annalise's side, he went to find Marrsol on the chaotic deck above. Everyone was running around and getting ready for a fight. He found Maresol helping with the sails, seeing her among the mix of men getting their shot together. "Markus." He called, catching her arm and pulling her off to the side. She looked annoyed, especially since they were being told a ship was in proximity and they would fight soon. "Ale what? The Captain said--" She began but he stopped her with a look. "Go and get ready. Arm yourself and stay out of the majority of the fight. If you die I can't replace you." He said and Maresol gave him a defiant frown. "I'm no coward. I'll help but I'm not out to die." She pulled away, heading below deck to grab her sword. She knew what Alejandro was worried over, but she was sure he could take care of himself as she could. She died once and was sure she wouldn't try it again. She was almost excited for a fight and maybe they would get lucky and find something valuable...

The smoke was thick as the Mortars went off- hitting the brig escort full on- putting a large sized hole in the middle- the second volley of cannon fire sunk it easily- the second one was made swift work of as well with Annaliese calling orders. They had already switched to a Spanish flag- to blend in- to get close and strike. A tactic she liked using since it was fun. Kole was calling orders to board the last ship as it was wounded and standing still from a full three round blow from the broad side cannons. "Lines! Board her and make her your bitch!" He called getting a excited call in retaliation from the men as they threw lines and started preparing their weapons. Fox swiftly jumped from the rigging lines and onto the other ships quickly taking out the two look outs and the flag- even before they began boarding the ship. Looking down she noticed one in general who was getting into a bad spot- a huge man with an ax on Alejandro's little puppet. She frowned before drawing her sword and taking a dive to the deck- using the large man as a landing target. It was swift but her sword went through his back and severed his spin- causing him to crippled to the ground dead- or as good as. Fox's knees bent a bit to take in some of the shock from landing but it wasn't too bad. For a human it might have been fatal. She looked at Markus. "Get moving. Back to the ship-Thats an order." She said in a cold tone making it more then clear what she wanted from this being. Kole had boarded and was taking men out left and right however he was currently neck and neck with the captain of the ship- fighting tooth and nail to survive it seemed. Samantha was on board on a lower deck helping out her own crew members with a pistol and a sword. Annaliese was still on HMGrace- watching things happen. She did however get tired of watching her brother struggle and took out her pistols and pegged the captain and the quartermaster in one shot each- the rest of the enemy crew falling to surrender since all officers were gone now. Kole turned to look at his sister- knowing it was her to put an end to this mess quickly a soft smile on her lips. "Collect the loot- Bring the men to the main deck for review by the Captain." Samantha Barked as she moved to shoving men to the ground to wait for Annaliese to look them over and decide what to do with them. She made her way over- jumping the banister quickly and landing on the deck with a small thump as her heeled boots hit. Her dress was still clean and it made her seem dainty almost. She walked past them and into the cabin to look- grabbing a few things including an interesting ring she felt an odd pull from making her feel intrigued by it. It had been in a old looking box so of course she wanted to see what was in it. Taking a few other things she handed them off to her brother- all but the ring to look at later. Moving back to the main deck she looked over their remaining crew noticing they only lost three men. "If you wish to live- sign on- if you want to stay loyal to your Spanish states or what ever you call them- stay here- I have what I want- I am in a merciful mood to let some of you live this day." She said with a smile to them as if she were inviting them to tea. A few men were quick to jump up at her offer, Sam looking them over and accepting all five of the twenty left. They looked strong and would do, she nodded before having them strip off the Spanish uniforms before boarding the ship. She returned to her own ship, heading to the navigation deck looking over the ring in the light with a smile as she looked it over however the ring had a calling from it- it was singing to Fox- making her follow the captain a little confused. "Whats that thing? Its singing..." She said softly as she looked over her shoulder. Annaliese gave a small frown and snapped the box shut looking at Fox. "Rings don't sing Fox. Now- go help claim the cargo." She said in a dismissive tone before getting a stubborn look from Fox. "I don't do the smell of pearls. I'll wait in the nest." She said as she stated her dislike for the water baring gem since she didn't like their smell- not that human could smell them.

The heat of the fight was enough to send anyone into a spell of adrenaline and excitement. It took over Maresol's being and reminded her fully of how much she missed this life. There was never a dull moment, especially when there were raids to be had. The smell of smoke and the sound of wood smashing and splintering sent a thrill through her as she spotted the ships being taken from the rigging. She was ready to have her had at the other crew. Despite her set backs earlier, this seemed a healthy distraction from her dismal state. When the call came to board she was one of the first over, taking on everyone that crossed her path. She got in quite a few kills before things began to get heavy, the deck filling with men of all sizes and things to gain in this fight. She was caught off guard by the sheer number, the smoke from pistol fire and sounds of death and carnage ripping her senses away from herself. She looked at her surroundings, trying to find a clearing to get a better vantage. Instead she was met with a man covering her view, a large man with an axe in hand, attempting to bring it down on her. Before he could cleave her in two, she rolled out of the way, bring her foot into the man's knee in an attempt to bring him down. However, the hefty man was bulky and padded, making her kick less effective than more than annoying him. She gave a solid wheeze of breath when he kicked her in the stomach, sending her onto her back and into a vulnerable position. She tried to move back but his larger strides made him gain. He raised the axe above his head in an attempt to swing down at her and Maresol sent up a small prayer that she knew wouldn't be heard before holding her breath and waiting for the end to come. However, the end never came, instead Fox was there, standing over the toppled corpse of a man from where she had dropped from the lines above. Maresol's mouth fell open in shock, her eyes widening at the woman but she couldn't say much to her. Instead she was ordered back onto the ship, something that annoyed Maresol but she wouldn't voice the complaint outright. There was no purpose to it if it would only get her in trouble. She got to her feet, preparing to rebound when something strange caught her eye. She spotted Alejandro moving along the perimeter towards a cabin door, followed by a large brutish man not from their crew, a man that didn't look to be causing him harm... ~~~ The mix of emotions and deathly energy had a special call to Alejandro as he observed the fascinations taking place while attempting to help where he could. He was not ready to be thrown into a fight as of right now, especially not when he had a contract to worry for and a cover not to blow. However, it was hard not lose himself when the first ship fell, dying the waters an inky black and red from the dead and the sea creatures feeding beneath the waves. His body felt electric with all the energy surrounding him and he could taste something on the air that held a certain thrill. He always did enjoy strong emotions tied to stronger energies that moments like this held. They were always exciting, something he was due for after days of quiet and monotony. When the crew was ordered to board he hung back, only boarding when a clear enough path was set for him. He had no purpose in a fight, not beyond cleanup or to be an observer. He could use a sword and had his power to help him out, but he rarely took life if it was in no direct threat to him. When a man emerged from the crowd, running at him with deadly intent, Alejandro allowed his sword to relieve the man of his head, ignoring the blood that hit him. He took out a few men that took notice of him, till he rounded the edge of the boat to find there was an odd sensation filling his senses. Not just the energy of the fight, but this was a raw and powerful energy that called to him like a fish to water. He could feel his entire being trying to reach out to it, looking for some gratification of connection with whatever it was. He knew this feeling all to well, since he had felt it once in the past. A piece of the treasure he sought was on this boat...His eyes went alight with excitement, his body humming with a sort of elation he hadn't felt in a very long time. His eyes hungrily searched for the source, them finally landing on a door that no doubt lead further into the ship. He went to take off for the door, but instead was stopped by a burly man blocking his way, a nasty looking sword in his hand. Alejandro assessed the situation and figuring he had little time to waste, he settled on an alternative to fighting. He locked eyes with the behemoth of a man and let his mind reach out to him with the ease of pouring water from a glass. The man's eyes went white, pupils having rolled back in his head as Alejandro's will took over influence. "Now..put that sword to use and clear my way...I have a treasure to claim." He said with a small shoo af his hand that sent the large man into a frenzy on his own comrades. He took off through the path the man cleared, making his way to the door in enough time to slip inside. The behemoth followed, standing by the door like a dog waiting for it's next meal to enter. He looked around the room, trying to isolate the incredibly powerful feeling down to one object, the room was full of objects, treasures and artifacts collected no doubt from the captain's travels. He rushed through the things, touching and brushing against things to check for the one that gave him the gratification of power he knew he needed to find. He could taste it there, like a sweet smell on the breeze and it was driving him near into a frenzy to find it. Mid reaching for a collection of jewels surrounding an odd box, he was stopped by the behemoth under his control making a strangled noise. He turned and found Maresol there, looking horrified as the behemoth tried to strike her down. "Stop! Leave her be you oaf." He snapped and the man paused, lowering his sword like the mindless thing he was now. Maresol swallowed hard before she made her way over to Alejandro. "What are you doing here?" She asked with some annoyance, getting a look from him that was a bit hostile, if not frenzied. "It's here. One of them is here. If only I could just pin point it in all this mess..." He snarled, turning back to the mess of objects to begin digging. No sooner had he started, he suddenly heard the commotion outside erupt into cheers and he figured by the shots fired that the captain had taken her ship. He ignored the going ons and tried to dig, finding that no matter where he searched, he couldn't find what he was looking for. The trick part was that the objects of power had taken many shapes over the years in human hands and now it dwelled as something entirely new...He dug through a stack of coins when suddenly he heard MAresol let out a noise of surprise. Alejandro whirled around to find his man had slipped out of his control and was coming for them in a confused and elevated rage. Alejandro's patience had warn thin, driving him into a similar rage as he lashed out at the man, bringing him down with one of the antique daggers to the forehead. He drew away looking a bloody mess, his body shaking with an anger that was easily read from his frustration. The object was hear, he knew this, but he couldn't find it...why couldn't he find it? Suddenly footsteps came towards the room and his head snapped up in the direction of door. He felt Maresol suddenly grab his arm, tugging him along with her to a door not far off. "Ale we have to get out of here. We could be charged with evasion if we are found by anyone in here." He tried to protest, but she gave him a sharp look. "Ale they will bring the treasure back to the boat. We can search then. Till now we have to move!" In the midst of him cursing the ever loving out of her in spanish, she dragged him from the room and out a back way, finding their way back to the ship when things began to die down. She left him to clean himself off on board, taking up her duty clearing the ship and searching for anything that could be viewed as valuable or something like a powerful object Alejandro was looking for.

The remaining goods were taken and the ship sunk- sending the extra men back in a row boat with a few rations. As she had said she was in a good mood it seemed. Kole had been making notes of all the things they had gotten and the relative value and he was impressed. His sister had honestly pulled through with this tip off. Later that evening when things had been cleaned properly and things sorted out and accounted for they were called on deck for the Captain to speak. "Good show today lads! I was happy to see most of you still lived! We also got a very very lucrative handout. So your pay will come and there may even be a port bonus if you behave. " She said with a giggle since port bonus's usually meant double pay for a while. The men cheered in excitement at this statement but when Kole stepped up to speak they went quiet. "To the new crew I will need you to sign tonight- before docking in a bed. Also I will need to know the death log- so if your room mate is fish food- come voice up." He said easily simply making his lists easy to handle. Fox was out and about with the main crew on the main deck, however after the speeches Annaliese called her to wards her. Raising a brow she stood and walked to her, a bit of a blank look on her face. "Shall we speak this evening? I feel like its a good night to talk." She said more or less asking if Fox figured out more about her self and wished to speak on it. "Indeed, I might bring a friend however- if you don't mind?" She asked quietly making the Captain raise a brow in surprise. "If you trust it so, I find no issue." She stated before heading off in the direction of her cabin to relax a bit- perhaps look at her new ring a bit more. Samantha called orders to get the ship moving since it was best to keep moving after a fight. Fox waited before slipping off to find Alejandro before he went bellow deck and told him to meet her by the captain's quarters when the crew cleared for the night. She then moved to a line and like a snake quickly slithered up.

Alejandro washed the blood from his face into the basin, trying to quell the anger that built inside of him at how things had played out. He seethed at the idea that the treasure had been there, right within his reach and he had let it fade away with a passing glance. His treasure...his right to power...his escape from this hellish existence. He could feel feelings from his past creeping into his gut, fueling the fire there that he always thought he could control. But it seemed being so close to that power again left his mind in a fragile place, allowing cruel memories to wash into his consciousness. "You thought you could leave me? You could never be stronger than me, my pet...my Alejandro..." The voice, like a seductive flicker in his consciousness, sent the flames in his chest rushing into a blaze. He knocked the basin away, the water splashing against the boards as the metal clattered on the ground. He sucked in a breath and got dressed again, pulling on his fresher clothes that didn't have blood on them and heading deck side. He kept his composure as he went deck side, fishing through the crowd till he found Maresol who was standing at attention with the other men. She listened with wrapt attention as the captain talked, while Alejandro simply watched the waters, watching the sinking ships shadows be swallowed by the waves. He was pulled back to attention when cheers echoed over the space, one even coming from Maresol. "See, I told you the treasure would be brought aboard...we could look into it tonight if you want." He gave her a frown but nodded, being surprisingly quiet at the moment, something she wasn't used to with him. He usually had a spiteful or smart ass comment to make by now...She let him leave as he went to go below deck, back to his duty of watching over cargo when he was stopped by Fox. She gave him a hurried message about meeting her in the captain's quarters. He raised a brow at that, unsure if he was alright with that exactly. Why would he need to meet with this woman? And was he in the mood to entertain fantasies of human self made grandure? No, he wasn't. But as he had said before he was indebted to Fox for saving Maresol. The least he could attempt was to speak to her captain...the woman did interest him in a way, especially after she brought him a drink when at port. but interest was not a form a flattery for him, especially since he took interest in a great many things....Perhaps she would be just like every other human he dealt with...or maybe not? He wasn't sure so soon, so he would have to gauge it himself. He waited till later in the evening to break way from conversation with Maresol over how to find the object. They agreed to continue to search that night when he was through with his talking and playing nice. He was walking toward Fox who he spotted when he paused, feeling a subtle vibration of energy from the room. Not from Fox who he could see there just at the door, but something much stronger. It was a lovely hum of tantalizing energy that made him move forward without thinking. He nearly ran into the wall but stopped himself short with an all to intent look. The object...it was there, he could feel it...He looked to Fox, a smile pulling at his lips as he was now eager to see this captain who had no doubt picked up the object, feeling it's worth. Even humans could sense their value after all. It would just take a little persuasion perhaps to get it off her...he was good at that. "Good evening Fox. I apologize if I kept you waiting." He said, since he was eager to get this started so he could collect his prize and go...

Fox watched as Alejandro came over, stopping very close to the door, making her raise a brow at his words. "I didn't wait long besides its singing again..." She stated sounding uneasy slightly since it was singing to the captain- singeing how it wished to be on her finger- she didn't like that. Fox opened the door, looking in finding only Annaliese who was at her large desk the ring in her hands as she looked it over. Her eyes moved from the ring to them, her other hand going to the glass of wine on her desk taking a light sip. "Good evening Fox...Friend of Fox." She stated cautiously since if Fox brought him into this conversation he must have known something- then again- she vaguely remembered him having seen fox 'eat' before. "Evening Captain. You wanted to talk about somethings?" She proded with her smooth voice however Annalies frowned at her. "Keep your tone monotone- no sweet words now. You know how I feel about those." She cautioned making Fox nod and change her tone from her slightly expressive tone to something a bit more lifeless- influence less more like it. Annalies knew that her voice was a tool- she she was careful it wasn't used on her. "My Apologies. This is Alejandro, he is--My friend in this." She stated not really wanting to speak for him but wanted to let her know she trusted him enough to call him a friend that was enough. Annaliese turned her eyes onto the man, looking him over and frowned. "You were there on the deck the night of the storm, congratulations on not being the snack." She said with a smirk however waited for him to speak to get a better read on him. She had already put the ring back in the box there on her desk and put it into the drawn there by her- locking it with the key about her neck before giving them both her full attention.

Alejandro knew what Fox meant by the singing, since he would have had the same response had he been in his original body. Now it was just a draw, something a bit stronger than what a human would feel yes, but nothing like his original connection to the objects. That just came with time and changing bodies, losing pieces of himself along the way as prices for survival. When Fox entered, Alejandro followed, staying behind her since he didn't want to be the focus of this conversation till he needed to be. His eyes however were drawn to Annalise, their pretty little captain playing with a ring in her fingers. As her slender fingers caressed the jeweled ring, he watched it curiously, his intent probably being mistaken for her. He knew what the ring was and it's energy radiated the room, calling him closer. He stayed in place, knowing that he needed t play his cards right after all. She looked to them with a casual glance, her hands on her glass of wine. Her greeting was cautious, as it should have been with a stranger in her midst, one that could do a lot to her if he so pleased. He couldn't unless it came to a situation of survival and he needed to get away. He wasn't senseless with his magic after all. Fox's trick with her voice was interesting to him and he watched her from the corner of his eyes. So she knew of her persuasion as a Siren? Interesting. He looked toward Annalise when she was corrected and gave a half smile, the woman was smart at least...That was good for her, not so much for him if he wanted to persuade her in a different, much more direct way. When he was introduced by Fox, he gave a bow of his head, offering the woman a raise of his brow when congratulated on not being eaten by Fox. That was sheer luck that he had not pissed her off he supposed, but he could also hold his own in a fight with her he felt. If it turned to fight in the water, not so much... "Yes, ma'am I was...Thank you for the drink that night by the way. It was was a better part of that evening--well short of not being food. Though, I find that Miss Fox is more of a danger to those that," He paused as she put the ring away, watching her lock it and committing it to memory where she put the key before he spoke again, passing it off as if he were thinking of how to word things, "have little in common with her." He said more for the benefit of hinting that he wasn't human in sense of things if the woman cared to know. Why lie when he knew the woman wasn't stupid and he wasn't sure what Fox told her. 'He figured she must have figured there was some reason Fox left him alive and actually considered them friends. He didn't mind hearing the term honestly, since Fox was the only creature he had contact with in a long while. He preferred their interactions to the games played by mortals. "But I didn't come here to debate her appetite, Fox asked me to come with her to discuss something you had questions about? I'm afraid I haven't been filled in on exactly you two wanted to discuss." He said, his eyes going from Fox to Annalise with an innocent enough look, though he had a feeling that he wouldn't be long for dealing with questions about supernatural things. He wouldn't mind answering about Fox, but he would reserve descriptions of himself if asked for later. It was unwise to show everyone your full hand when you were the odd man out in a situation.

Her eyes ahd already moved to Fox as she took in her appearance again however at the pause of the new man's words about 'having more in common' her eyes flashed to him. Her violet eyes took him in a bit better- more or less sizing him up. His hair was a curly mess that was oddly cute- Spanish if she knew better. His eyes and intense sea foam green- it was odd but in the low light of the cabin they almost glowed- it was interesting to her. Why hadn't she noticed anything from him before like she had with Fox? her attention was brought back however when he brought about the purpose they were there for. "Indeed sir. That is only part of the reason we are speaking tonight. My brother is off playing mother to the crew and Sam is seeing to our course." She said in a simple tone she she felt that if their man was going to be honest with her she would be honest with him. "Its still singing..." Fox muttered getting en eye roll from Annaliese. "Again rings don't sing Fox. Were you not educated?" She said in a harsh tone however she sighed, taking a drink of her wine to calm herself. Fox frowned but didn't speak," That one does..." She said however that made the Captain sigh. "And what does it sing about? Does it sing like you lovely sea?" She asked in an almost compassionate tone to Fox since she didn't hate the girl jut thought she could be stupid occasionally. "Longingly...It wants to be worn- wants to be touched- used- warmed by flesh..." She murmured in a deeper tone as she listened to the song it sang. Annaleise nodded to her as she finally opened her eyes and seemed to focus on her. "Its dangerous then." she stated as she glanced at the drawer before giving a nod more to herself but seemed to want to refocus. "Alright- what have you figured out my little Fishy?" She asked Fox more to distract her from things. "I know the water makes me crave flesh, we have all witnessed this. I get scales in the water but I remain with my limbs- My teeth as like a shark and I can speak with a persuasion in my tone. I'm overly inquisitive and work well in being silent as I move. I can feel the water even if I'm not in it but around it- I can sense the things in it- the fish- the ships- the bones- the sunken ships...everything." She said seemingly getting lost in her own mind as she spoke about what she could feel from the water. Annaliese nodded before looking at Ajelandro. "And where do you come into this? Are you helping her figure out these things?" She asked him however Fox seemed to pipe up at that moment. "He says I'm a Siren." She said with a blink of her eyes before locking them on Annaliese wondering what she felt about that.
