When Annalise said that a reason they were speaking was because of the absence of her usual posy, something he decided was because of them not approving of her dealings with the supernatural or didn't care for these talks. He didn't care much for it, since he didn't much care for the other two anyways. Kole looked like he was a toy soldier wound up to tight and Samantha had the personality of ice. Not the kind of interesting company he cared to keep. Instead it seemed he would keep the company of two women that had an odd relationship, well the room was full of odd people after all...He looked to Fox when she spoke up about the ring again, causing his brow to furrow. He could feel it there as well and he wanted it. But to force his will on Annalise would make Fox angry and he wouldn't break his own twisted sense of morals over harming her till he exhausted other options. He wasn't out to die when he was a step closer to his goal. He frowned at Annalise as she humored Fox's complaint and words about the ring, even calling it dangerous. He gave a bit of a half smile, shaking his head at their conversation to keep himself from putting them in their place with exactly what kind of 'danger' they were playing with. It humored him some, but annoyed him just the same. He let the thoughts fade as Fox began to talk about herself. Her words and descriptions confirmed his thoughts and evaluation of her. It wasn't by any means perfect. since Siren's were hardly a singular group but had many variations with different and similar qualities. He nodded, confirming what she said, though he had to stop when Annalise suddenly asked him what his part in things were. He gave a bit of thought of how to answer that really till Fox spoke up, saying that he was the one that labeled her. He didn't wait for Annalise to speak since he found the woman was left out on some of that information to make a complete assessment of her words. "Yes I am helping her. I felt it only right to help her understand a bit more of herself. One being to another that is...That is the best assumption I can give based upon just viewing her and hearing her stories. I've come in contact with many sirens in my past that favor her skill set and choice of meals. Fox is a bit stronger and adaptable to land than most I met, but the sea has produced stranger. She is some form of Siren from what I can read from her. There are many breeds, each special and unique without giving . It is not a perfect title for her, but it will do to sate your curiosity no?" He said to Annalise with a hint of sass, his annoyance from earlier bubbling to the surface. He figured the woman was just using Fox anyways so why would she care what she was as long as she knew she had a rare pet to keep under her control?

When the man- Alejandro went on about the different kinds of Sirens' her eyes were bright- she loved hearing about this type of thing. A sly smile on her face she cocked her head to the side lightly looking him over a bit more. "As your words mean- you aren't human either- even if you look it. I want to thank you for helping her. She needs it- since she can't figure it out herself." Annaliese said in a calm tone but her eyes never left him. She let her gaze linger a bit inappropriately however her eyes snapped to the door when it opened and a startled Kole came in looking rather confused with her company. "I'm not interrupting anything am I?" He asked wondering what was going on, glancing over the man there before looking to his sister. "A bit brother- can you perhaps see if Samantha needs any company for a while longer please? Its nothing too serious- I promise." She said with a soft sweet smile she only held for her brother before he gave a nod and left. Her eyes returned this time to Fox and gave her a look over. "You look much better after feeding. We should perhaps increase your feeding times to twice a month? Suggestions?" She asked turning the conversation over to Alejandro more asking how often it was a Siren needed to feed. She didn't know- so why not ask the man who knew more about it then her.

Alejandro could feel her eyes on him as he looked to Fox as she spoke of what he was. As if he would tell her, or justify why she ever needed to know...However, his attention stayed on her due to the fact he was curious why she looked at him with any interest. Was she gawking at the creature that was showing her no real attention or was she just worried over how she was going to manipulate him too? He didn't peg her for an idle woman after all. Her eyes were far too calculating and her attitude seeming to radiate confidence. She was sure of her skill in killing and control, he could sense that by the energy she let off. She gave off the distinct fragrance of power he had experienced before. Not to the same caliber, but he could sense there was something more tho this woman that just a pretty face and a seat of power. But what was really beneath that guarded expression? Was she really the domineering woman with a wickedness for blood? Or was she a girl playing at a hardened sailor? He couldn't get a read on her and that bothered him...not that he would give her the time of day to realize that. If anything was to transpire here it would be strictly business, perhaps a little persuasion to get her to relinquish that which he deserved. Her thanks made him look to her, his lips pulling into a half smile as he noticed her looking at him with something that could have been considered slyness...She had a pretty way about her, something he knew she was very aware of. It seemed she catered her movements even to give her the best light and offer her only compliments. Even he noticed her after all. He opened his mouth to tell her not to mind thanking him since it was hardly a completely kind gesture. He was curious over Fox as well, since her abilities might prove to be a threat to his own. He couldn't go a moment without understanding others around him before they had chance to harm him after all. However, his mouth was forced shut when her brother entered, obviously knowing he interrupted something by the way he looked from Annalise to her guests. He saw the glance her brother gave him and he thought about being an ass, but figured it was better to appear stoic for the dear boy. Seems he was just as straight laced with his sister as he was his crew...sad really that the poor sod couldn't relax...He let the man leave at his sister's request, her sweet smile adding to his bank of knowledge that she was close with her brother. He could taste something there in the air between them that was strong, that much was certain...He let his mind drift back to conversation, especially when Annalise made a valid assessment of Fox. She did look better and he could tell by today's fight that she was stronger as well. When his opinion was brought into the mix, he gave her a raise of his brow. Surely she wasn't asking him to comment on feeding schedules for Fox like she was a pet. The woman knew enough about her body to figure out when she needed to feed right? "Well, depends on how in control you wish for her to be." He said before looking back to Fox, since he felt this information was for her. "I've seen sirens that feed daily and those that hunt for months. Within the waters its harder to control the desire, but here she seemed to have a very solid handle of herself. I've also never encountered a Siren that could walk so freely this humanistic in appearance...But, the longer she goes without feeding, the thinner that control is stretched. I once watched a Siren that had been banished from her pod eat 2 of her own kind before the others could stop her." He said, since he was being clear that loyalty or feelings played no part in that primal action. They could be baser, more barbaric creatures when they needed to. "Fox, do you feel the need to increase your eating? Is once a month too little, creating problems for you, like fatigue, a burning sensation in your mind?" He asked, feeling as a doctor at this point, but what else could he say. Her feeding was being controlled. He wondered why the woman allowed it, but he wouldn't agree her choices. He was not in her shoes and lived his own life to know better than to allow humans control over anything you did.

Annaliese looked him over when he seemed to take her words slightly wrong. When he more addressed fox as if she were the injured party, Fox frowned at Alejandro. "Once is fine, I can go three months before feeding if needed.Perhaps we can allow me some more water time?" She asked with a smile looking perkier at the comment, getting a frown from Annaliese this time. "While we are at sea? I don't think so. We could lose you- it would also spook the crew." She stated easily shooting that idea down instantly. Fox gave her a look as she thought it over. "I guess you are correct- then however at night? After the crew is asleep?" she bargained getting a smirk from Annaliese. "Can you guarantee that you won't eat some one nightly? If that happened they will figure things out." She said with a frown looking worriedly at Fox. Fox pursed her lips in thought a moment before seeming to think not hat a bit better. "Not sure." She finally stated seemingly being realistic about this. She gave a sigh before standing up and moving around her desk to Fox's side putting a hand on her shoulder. "I trust you to handle what you can do. If there is a slip up- let me know. I'll do my best to cover it up." She said before patting Fox on the shoulder lightly with a smile before turning to Alejandro. "It seemed you have a much better handle on your self then she does so I will let you handle your own business however if there is a...slip up- come find me. I will ensure your not persecuted on my ship- or in port when you are part of my crew." She said honestly since she had a hard ass but these were her family after all. She offered out her hand for this creature to shake since she wasn't afraid of the super natural in fact it was the opposite effect, almost making her blush with her excitement. She learned to control herself better since when she fist got Fox board she used to try to convince her to sleep with her- even giving her favor and gifts- even randomly cuddling her before Fox finally said she didn't understand what she was doing and went to Kole about it.

At Fox's answer, he nodded since it wasn't his place to argue what he didn't know. He however was unsure how her swimming on a ship full of people would go, especially since most of this lot would be superstitious bastards and want her dead if they realized she tried to kill them. He contemplated the idea, especially when this large ship had so many people it would be hard to hide her swimming even at night. Perhaps it was better if she tried to see what she could handle before it became problem. He noticed Fox was even unsure at the idea of swimming at night and her control not to eat someone. Though a few crew members here and there was not a complete problem, soon someone would get suspicious and turn on the captain or pointing fingers which could cause more trouble. He waited for Annalise to shoot her down, to say it was risky, but instead the woman rose from her seat. He watched her walk toward Fox, his expression showing that he was unsure of what she intended. The almost soft touch and kinder words toward Fox was unexpected...He expected something a bit harsher, but instead...was the woman actually being helpful? That didn't seem like a woman who wanted to control something...but she could just be playing a game. He wasn't sure how to take it and for that he was cautious to dispel all lesser thoughts of Annalise. Perhaps he would have to keep a closer eye on her, judge her more from what he saw later than just now and their short time together. And honestly the thought of it wasn't totally a bad idea...His mask of calm and collect returned when she looked his way, though his eyes did harbor a small curious light in her direction. What was her intentions with offering him the same freedom, not that he needed her permission? He as well aware that he was in control of himself, mostly because his baser desires for consuming soul energy was sated by the human body he inhabited. But, it was nicer to know he might have something to fall back on in case hunting for these pieces of treasure turned deadlier than he anticipated. He saw her confident raise of hand, offered for him to shake as if making a deal. He thought a moment on it, mostly studying her face before he reached out and took it in a firmer grip. He decided it best to be nice, though her offer might not ever come to use for a slip up. "It comes with age...but I can assure you that I won't cause trouble. Thank you for the thought." He said, before he released her hand and gave a glance at the window beyond her shoulder. It was getting quite late and he still had to be sure Maresol was alright. His contract was being reckless today and he wondered if she sustained any injury. "Is there anything more information I could offer you tonight Captain...Fox? I'd hate to keep you brother waiting for your attention." He said since he was sure her brother would be back again soon to figure out what was going on.

At the mention of keeping Kole from her attention she laughed a little, letting him pull his hand back. "I don't mind giving you some attention. He gets plenty as it is." ((imagine Isabella here lol )) She said with a flirty smirk however she gave a sigh knowing the man probably wasn't interested in humans- much to her sadness. "I'm good on information for the evening. I'll heed your warning Fox about the 'singing' ring. It will remain locked up- if it keeps singing however let me know. I'll work on quietening it if possible." She commented about the ring however it was true- if it was bothering her little pet she wouldn't be happy. She turned back to her desk pulling a bottle of rum from a box there and pulled the cork out with her teeth. "So unless you want to join me for a drink- leave." She said changing her tone completely. She was feeling slightly rejected since she had already come on to another supernatural since Fox wasn't mentally prepared for anything of that sort it seemed, and it was obvious he wasn't interested.

Alejandro was thoroughly surprised when she suddenly gave a laugh that was mixed with an emotion in her. The emotion made him raise a bit of a brow, mostly because it seemed like something of temptation. Well, that was a switch from her original more professional and controlled behavior. He wasn't sure how to take her words that were spoken afterwards, the offer there something he hadn't anticipated. Yes he noticed her eyes on him and the way she seemed to give him hints that she was interested to have his notice on her. He noticed her for sure, but also knew better than to let himself be manipulated by a pretty face. He knew nothing of her or her intentions. Why then would he play her game when he was unsure of the rules or even if he had an investment or prize to win? He gave her flirty glance a calculating look, taking in her expression, the coquettish draw to her voice. So she did want something more out of their interaction than just information, perhaps something more interesting than just a word or two over Fox's status? But why when she had nothing to gain from it? Perhaps she taught to manipulate him further in a way she was used to getting men's attention? Either way was it wrong to indulge his curiosity from earlier that was peaked at him being unable to get a proper read on her. Her mention of the ring drew his eyes to her desk and a thought crossed his mind...perhaps this was the way and situation to use to get what he wanted from her? That ring was his ticket to power and he couldn't allow it to stay squandered on a foolish little girl after all. He could handle her easily, since he was so much stronger than any of the humans or supernaturals aboard this boat. It probably wouldn't be fair, like taking candy from a child, but how could he resist when he knew it wasn't often that he would get this chance. He watched her move to her desk, analyzing her movements for anything he could use for leverage here. It afforded a look at her swinging hips, her obvious lack of regard for her company now that she seemed sure of something. The bottle of rum's dark color showed off her slender pale fingers, the intention for her to drink the bottle making his mind take in the alternative as the cork left her teeth. Say he stayed and her played her game long enough to knock her on her ass and take the ring? What could that hurt? Her rather blunt order and offer made his expression shift from calculating and calm to darkly humored. Oh this could be interesting after all. Maybe the captain did have a bit more dominance than he thought prior. "You're attention and a drink? Such an attractive offer." He said letting her interpret the inflection on attractive how she pleased since he was now playing the part she wanted. He moved from his docile distant place by the door to see exactly what this woman was about and if this confidence could be shaken by him agreeing to play. He took a seat in a chair that was in her room. "I thought your time was more valuable. I don't suppose this an offer you extend to all your new crewmen?" He asked, the question innocent really though more or less fishing for what she was playing at if she was truly after anything here. Fox would notice the slight shift in demeanor that was reserved and now a bit more relaxed, the more silk to his tone than was used in their interactions, and the way his eyes watched Annalise with some intent that wasn't all too clear. He held no such persuasion in his ability set that Fox did, but he knew that human's manipulated their tones and inflections for meaning as well. It was a nuance that interested him when he first came ashore and now it seemed so natural to a part of his exchanges...

Fox paled a little when Annaliese's mood swung. She had once stayed to drank with her- ending up disoriented and having the captain trying to take her clothes off. She shook her head and gave Alejandro a cautioned look before giving them a nod good night and heading out back to her little nest up in the masts. Annaliese nodded to Fox as she left knowing the girl wasn't interested in that sort of talk this evening, perhaps when she was older she might be. At Alejandro's words her brow quirked and she gave him a sly smile. Taking a seat on her desk front not far from his chair she pulled two glasses from a coroner of her desk and fulled them with rum, the dark strong liquid sloshing a bit int he cup as she handed it to him. "I don't offer this type of company to anyone other then those I find interesting- and no simple man can hold my attention." She stated more or less making it obvious she wasn't a huge fan of well humans. She found fault in them as she did with most things but a ship was simple, the Ocean was simple- fickle at times but what woman wasn't? Taking a drink from her cup, she downed it in one go, filling her cup again she moved to sit behind her desk a bit better, knowing she needed to have a few slower drinks before she bothered making the poor creature leave. He seemed to be playing her but at least she could perhaps get some fun out of it before it left her be. "However as with all non humans' Don't tease me. I stated before I'm not a huge player of games- unless we can agree on rules." She stated easily before taking a smaller drink of her rum with a soothing smile afterwards as the dark liquid starting feeling warm in her middle, it was pleasant.

Alejandro noticed Fox's cautioned look and spared her a half smile, knowing the woman was being helpful. Seems Annalise had tried her games with Fox perhaps? The paleness of the poor Siren hinted at a resounding yes...He let her leave because he had no further use for her company and he was curious to see where this talk led. So Annalise's smiles were either sly or coy, but each held a certain charm to it...He rather liked that. He watched her pour herself and him a drink, something he would have normally never allowed but hell he was in the mood for something other than the mundane. He accepted the drink, listening to her talk of who she chose to allow her company. Seems he made the cut of being an interesting enough man to her. No doubt she spoke of his status as non-human, something that made him curious as to why. Perhaps she just liked the danger of it all or she was curious too? He was now fueled to just ask her, something that became available when she sat behind her desk and talked of games and such. Oh, so she knew this was a game? One that she initiated but he would be kind enough to take on. He pulled the drink to his lips, tasting the harsh rum that would due his senses if he wasn't careful, something he wouldn't allow when dealing with deals and talks where he needed to be on top.At her talk of not liking games where she wasn't involved in making the rules, he gave a low chuckle, one that drew an almost boyish humor to his look, placing him as younger than he truly was. "A trait we share in common, captain. Games are no fun when they are one-sided and petty struggles. And to me boring games are not worth anyone's time. As I'm sure you can agree?" He said before taking another drink and offering her a show of his freehand in seemingly batting away the veil that was up of pleasant games if she didn't want them. "Then enough of the pretty words. And I am actually not teasing you. You asked me to stay because you find me interesting due to what I am, knowing nothing of me? And I chose to stay because I find you intriguing, knowing very little of you or your intentions behind seeking the company of unnatural forces? If I were teasing you I would be much more sarcastic and mean about it." He said, since he was a vindictive ass when he was truly in the mood to be, but for her he spared her his wrath. Perhaps in a show of good faith towards her not threatening him already for speaking so boldly with her? He leaned forward a bit, his eyes darting to her desk and then back to her rather beautiful eyes. "Like that ring that sits in your drawer...surely you must feel that it is not made for mortal hands?" He asked her, wondering if she felt it or if she was blind to the power there. She wanted games with rules, so he was giving her a chance to make them, pushing his luck till he found her limit.

When he look changed to an almost boyish grin she smiled at him in return, not a coy grin either, a simple smile. At his statement about boring games and petty rules she nodded. "Indeed." She stated taking a sip, noticing he wasn't drinking much. At his words about not teasing her he giggled a bit. "You lie. Most who are not human are more honest about their character then a two faced human would be." She stated harshly before taking a swig of her rum. At the mention of being more sarcastic and mean about teasing her, her mind went off on a tangent and her cheeks burned a bit pink. It would be taken as the alcohol but she wasn't drunk- not even close. She was watching him however watching his pretty sea foam green eyes, as the darted between her and her desk- meaning the ring he mentioned. At the mention of the ring she sat back in her chair and looked him over. "I can feel the power form the object- however it feels off in my hands. Fox is right to caution me with it. I won't wear it- however I'm sure you would want it-by your suggestive way of speaking...How about this..." She started speaking before downing the new glass of rum before placing the glass on the table and standing up again, moving back around her desk to lean against it, not far from him, her stretched out leg barely touching his leg in the proximity. "How about an exchange- no strings attached...I'll give you the ring- If you agree to be my partner...Provided you can satisfy my needs..." She said in a way that made it sound exactly how she said it. "I'll give you time to think about it, I know you creatures like to plot in human affairs. What isn't there to gain from a widow captain with a large ship..." She stated having leaned in a bit more to give a small show of her chest that was high and tight with the corset she wore. She did however more soon after her words and moved towards the door as she opened it for him. "Good evening Alejandro- Its time I give my dear brother some much needed attention." She said with a sly smirk as she watched him leave...

When she called him a liar, he offered her a raise of his brow, figuring she would have waited to call him out on his BS after getting to know him a little better. But he was not against it. After all he hated shit liars and wouldn't become one himself. He looked her over at her comment about character of his kind, something he found a bit interesting on her part. So, she thought his kind were honest in their dealings with humans? Poor dear. True they weren't as two faced, but they were hardly saints in the light of mortal conversation. Their honesty was only fully true when they knew they had you in their grasps and very few times sooner. Half truths were his bread and butter in these sorts of interactions. He let her have her jab at him, something he wouldn't contest because why bother. It didn't wound him as long as she kept her comparison of him to humans to a minimum. He may have inhabited a human host by force, but he was hardly one of them. In the quiet from him he was able to see the blush on her pale skin, watching for subtle signs of drunkness in her. Funny, her body didn't seem all that relaxed for a drunk girl...He pulled his eyes away from her frame when she spoke up, his eyes drawn to hers out of simple politeness in these affairs. His lips tightened some as she spoke of the ring, her observations correct and safely so. That ring could be the end of her if she wasn't careful and he would be right there over what was left of her to claim it when she was through. He wasn't much of a sentimentalist...His look slacked some when she spoke of his intentions on it, however he regained his control with cold calculation when she was at the corner of the desk. He was very aware of her leg and the heat that radiated off her body. She was doing an excellent job of playing her part, almost too well for his liking. But what fun would there be in that? He let her wind her words around him, hoping to find a deal that caught him like a fish on a line. And hell was it tempting. The ring for partnering with the captain of all women...Ale was by no means against sexual interactions with humans, since that was a part of the draw to being in a human host, to feel the burn of emotions you couldn't feel as a creature that simply fed on them. But would allowing physical interaction bar him from his purpose? She was not a contract, so there would be no problem there, but she did hold his life currently in the balance of her control should she decide to have him killed on her ship. He was sadly out numbered here. So then what was he to do? The ring, his power, something he could never let go...all in exchange for a small favor in comparison. He gave her a frown, his look intensifying as he felt a bit annoyed she was able to play to his weakness over the object. He didn't like being bested at his own game of words and it showed. He rose to his feet when she said to think on it. His eyes however did out of reflex go to her flaunted chest. He had to admit it was not far from a sinfully tempting offer, but one he still had to consider to be smart about this. "I will...consider it." He said his words cut off by his own thinking, since his smoothness of words was interrupted by his own dilemma. He left out the door, pausing only to spare her a "Good night, Annalise." before he made his way back to his room. His mind was full when he entered. Enough so that he almost ignored Maresol who had sat up in her bed, looking exhausted and annoyed with him being in so late. "Ale, where in the hell have you been?" He didn't look at her, instead sat pensively in his cot, his chin on his knees as he thought hard on what he was to do. "With the captain and Fox..." Maresol blinked, her eyes narrowing some. "Why is that? Don't tell me that she is pissed over Fox not eating us." She grumbled and Alejandro simply shook his head, his jaw brushing the scratchier fabric of his pants. Maresol didn't like the daze he was in, especially when she saw the way he seemed so fully drawn away in thought. Finally she huffed, getting up and snapping her fingers infront of his face. "Ale! Tell me what's going on." She ordered, getting a glare from him that made her sit down. He rolled his shoulder's before speaking. "I was given an offer to secure the ring." He said and Maresol looked very surprised. How exactly had he convinced the captain out of a powerful artifact like that? Surely that must have been a mistake. "Really of what? What does she want in exchange?" She asked, making Alejandro give a long blink before he met Maresol's gaze steadily and almost in a nonchalant way said, "Sex."

She nodded at his farewell before heading up to the main deck- looking for her brother who she pounced on with a giggle. He caught her easily and gave her a smile. Samantha on the helm, since Kole was simply keeping her company till his sister was available for company. Sam gave them a nod in greeting before Kole carried his sister back to her cabin- throwing her on the bed. She laughed as he went over to the desk to perhaps to see why she was in a giggly mood- finding an open bottle of rum. "Drinking this early?" He asked her as she rolled over on the bed and have him a sigh. "So? I was drinking with Fox...She only had a drink though..." She said in a bored tone since she wanted drinking company it seemed. "Do you blame her? The last time you tired to undress the poor girl." He said since Fox had run to him last time- not understanding what the hell was going on. Annaliese gave an exasperated groan as she flopped onto her stomach on the bed, allowing her brother to help her undress. She was in her night slip when he handed her another glass of rum, earning him a smile from his sister, he himself having a glass. "You know I don't mind keeping you company while you drink sister." he said with a soft smile to her as he made she was comfortable there. "I know but there are only so many comforts I can have with my brother...maybe next port..." She muttered getting a frown from her brother. "I think you will live with out that. I don't care to know that my sister sleeps around at Ports." eh said with a look that stated he wouldn't stop her necessarily but he wasn't going to encourage it either.

"Absolutely not!" Alejandro's look turned lightly surprised, though there was a venom to the narrow of his eyes as he glared at Maresol. The woman was red in the face, her incredulous expression something of humored to him if not also something of anger. "And where in that statement did I ask your opinion?" He asked, though the question was obviously rhetorical. Maresol ground her teeth at his cocky look, her eyes rolling skyward as she tried to off set her anger. How could the man dare think that this was a smart move? To get himself involved with the captain at all could blow his plans out of the water and ruin her chances at hers. She would not sit idle while he stuck his neck out for some idiotic plan. "Because how could you even consider it? It's illogical--daft." She snipped, getting a risk from him as he sat back a bit in his bed to stare up at the dark ceiling. "Perhaps it's illogical to some degree, but not entirely unappealing. I've been in similar arrangements before, some much much worse. They had more blood involved, more people go missing...This one is a cleaner affair." He said, hinting that not all deals he had made in the past were completely clean, mostly used as leverage over someone of power that he needed before they wore out their use. He was by no means the blushing child Maresol was, raving over simple fun as if it were immortal sin. She looked unsure of how to process that, but her anger was still getting the better of her tongue. "So you would whore your body for a damnable ring?" She spat through gritted teeth, making Alejandro look to her, his eyes glowing eerily in the low light of the room. "Ah ah, pet. My host. My body no longer exists, remember?" He reminded her softly, the topic not exactly a good one for him. No, if it was his body here, they wouldn't have even had an arrangement to discuss. He would have had this ship sunk in a matter of seconds, torn apart by gales and storms. He would also have had no use for these treasures...But sadly it wasn't to be and now his way of life needed to be much more complex and calculated than simply doing as he desired. "And what is a body but a tool to be bartered anyways?" He said, running his hand along his face momentarily in thought of the man it once belonged to. He was a funny thing, smart as a whip and annoyingly charming. His previous host had enjoyed his company fully, even as he ended his life. It wasn't personal, none of his contracts were. He needed bodies to survive and he was not in short supply of them with the wicked and abused. "I won his life that he bartered for my aid, the beautiful Spanish bastard with no title or ties...As per an agreement, it is mine to do with as I wish. I will get the ring and she will get...well I suppose we both get something out of the arrangement." He said, more in thought to himself. Maresol felt a blush creep over her at the mere thought, for one reason or another seeing Alejandro with the captain in a lust driven dance in her minds eye that made her quickly shake her head to dispel it. Why was it the image bothered her? She looked away, her eyes glaring at the floor from where she sat on his bed. "You're sickening. The both of you. Positively filthy." Alejandro let out a deep laugh, one that sounded almost sharp like a razor. She looked back to him, finding he had sat up and was moving towards her. He was suddenly very close to her face, his warm breath trickling on her face as his eyes looked into her's with a captivating gaze. He must have used a spell on her since she felt locked in place, drawn in by the half lidded lustful gaze in her direction. It made her pulse skyrocket and her body tense as she felt an uncomfortable heat rising the her cheeks. That must have been it...a trick? "Filth? Oh my dear Maresol. Filth does not encompass the nature of things." He practically purred, letting his hand shift to her cheek, giving it a tender brush before he suddenly had hold of her hair, pulling her down to the bed. She hissed at the pain that crept up her scalp, but it was dismissed when he was above her, pinning her there beneath him in like a cat that had caught a defenseless canary. "No, the world is dangerous and much more cynical. Filth and depravity are the spice to your short, lonely little lives. Live your boring life of repetition. I prefer to live mine in excess freedom." His hand snaked up her side, gripping her ribs rather tightly before his other hand sank lower, brushing her thigh. She gasped at the sensation, a blush creeping on her neck as his lips hovered by her ear. "Humans have such a wealth of emotion, something I've come to feel more accurately than when I just fed on the energies. You are awfully weak to them, enough so that your little lights can be snuffed out in that moment of vulnerability...I've seen to men and women alike losing more than just their sensibility in a moment of passion." The deepness in his voice encircled her mind, pushing her further into a haze of sensitive warmth that was confusing the hell out of her. What exactly was she feeling at the moment and why? What was this evil creature doing to her...and why did she like it? She squeezed her eyes shut, forcing down the odd emotions till a laugh broke her attention. She looked to him, noticing he was smirking down at her with a devilish look of man that had won something. She stared up at him a long moment before she paled. He had been screwing with her and got exactly what he wanted. He gave another, fuller laugh, letting her move away in a flurried mess of a blush as he mocked her with his eyes. "And you want to lecture me on promiscuity like some saint? You don't know the meaning of it, little girl..." He chuckled as she slid off the bed and went to her own to escape his teasing. "Now, I will have what I want and you will tell no one of it. I filled you in because I rather enjoy our conversations." He said as she settled back into her bed, her back to him to hide the fiery blush in her cheeks at her embarrassment. "You would be wise to begin making yourself more useful. I can only stand that loose tongue of yours for so long before our deal is no longer profitable..." His final words were the last ones said before she heard him give a yawn and settle into bed, leaving her to contemplate just what she was going to do about this odd little arrangement if he actually took the bait...

The next morning , the sky was nice and clear- the breeze strong but not overly so. Samantha was sleeping- Kole was on deck directing for her since Annaliese had the helm. She was dressed in a bit of a different outfit today- more relaxed as it was pretty much her brothers' shirt and her own pants. Knee high boots looking tempting as she stood with a hip cocked as she looked over the water before them. her hat was on however- her long hair was down for a change as she looked relaxed there at the helm. Kole was watching the crew honestly, giving each one who glanced over her a dirty look that meant he would throw them over board for less. Thing were quite until he turned to hear a thud behind him up by Annaliese to see Fox had come down on a line to speak to her. "There is a land mass coming up soon on the port side- Also a sunken ship wreck to the south of that mass...Sharks I would say- be wary." She said before scampering back up the lines to her nest. It wasn't a hard to miss land mass as she had seen it already and was working on correcting the ships' course already however Kole nodded to Fox as she passed him. He got a look, nothing more- 'such a strange child'.

"She really is a curious woman." Alejandro mused from his perch on a barrel that was currently being unused, his eyes on the captain who was looking oddly relaxed today. He took in her svelte frame hidden under the male shirt, the wind catching her hair in a frenzy that was oddly pretty. He was trying to use that moment to study her, to see if there was something there that he could use as leverage truly over this woman. He didn't like being played and he was hardly one to allow someone else to use him when he was the one that was supposed to be using them. When he heard Maresol move closer to him to see what he was looking at, she caught sight of Fox however instead who was climbing up the ropes. "Fox? Why wouldn't she be with what you and I know of her?" She said which garnered her a purse of his lips, since he wouldn't go into details of the captain now. It was obvious from their talks earlier that Maresol was not on board with his thoughts, something that he would then keep to himself till he was ready to make his decision, no matter how his thoughts frustrated him. On the topic of Fox he gave a gruff frown, showing frustration that wasn't necessarily directed at this conversation. "True. But I've never met someone like her that knew so little. It's dangerous honestly." He grumbled which drew a look from Maresol that was curious since she hadn't heard him actually call Fox dangerous. And this was news to her that Fox didn't know what she was? How did something like that happen? "Do you have something to fear of the strange woman?" He gave a long pause of thought before he shook his head, getting to his feet when he got barked at by another sailor to start working. He instead took up the slack of a rope Maresol was working with to secure lines, just to make it look like he was doing something. "No, I suppose not. She hadn't made me feel like she is a danger to me. Though I'm not quite sure how Fox or that brother of the captain's will take to anyone being too friendly with her beloved captain." She tensed a little at the reminder before she went back to knotting the rope expertly. "They are that close?" He gave a shrug since he honestly didn't know their true relationship beyond cues he was given the night before and from Fox. "Beats the hell out of me. I think Annalise is using her...but Fox is a very willing participant. It puzzles me." Maresol chuckled at that, handing him the bit of knotted rope before she fished for another, making his eyes narrow at her at what she would laugh at him. "You have a poor view of most human interaction for a reason or another, you are very vocal about it. It would bother you to actually see them getting along?" She knew she struck a nerve when he didn't answer and instead gave her a venomous look, something she decided to rectify by changing the subject to something he liked. "Anyways, about this ring. It's a piece of the seven that you need right?" He knocked, slipping off of the barrel to follow along, fishing his journal from his shirt to open it as he took up stride beside Maresol. "Yes. It looks different from when I last saw it, but it's changed hands since then many times I suspect." He stopped on a page of a poison green stone, older latin that hadn't been around for a while scrawled around the sketches and scrawling script encircling it. "Envy...It was always my favorite." He said which made Maresol frown. She didn't understand the draw to these things for him or why he wanted them. To collect sins seemed sacrilegious and...well dangerous. Why would anyone want to possess them was beyond her... "Will you ever tell me why it is that you want these things? They seem useless if they keep getting made into new things." Alejandro watched her for a long moment before he gave her a half smile and simply shut the book with a shake of his head. She gave him an annoyed look at his silence before he gave her smack on the back of the head with the book to scold her for her insolence. "Maybe in due time, Markus. When I think you're old enough to know the truth." He said before he was pulled aside to help with something to do with retrieving something from the cargo hold.
