Chuckling some, he nodded his head. "Yes I suppose you must be." He commented before quirking his eyebrows at her answer about living here her whole life. "It is a shame. Traveling is a grand experience. I would suggest it if you ever get the time." He commented, with a slight smile. He liked to seem like the happy type, smiling whenever possible. At least when at the hospital. It could be such a dreary place and since smiling sent of endorphins to make you happy, he might as well do it as much as possible.
Leaving the cafeteria, Saxum began going about his rounds. Each of his patients were still stable so he didn't have much work to do. Figuring that Mrs. Fields was in the least stable of positions, he grabbed a small stack of paperwork that he needed to fill out and sat in her room, watching over her heath. The poor woman was sure to be in a lot of pain. He wished he could do something to help her. In all honesty he could. He could take away pain from others though it would only cause him the same amount. It was useful at times but rarely anymore. He could also walk upright in between his wolf and human form as was given to him by his Carpathian blood, though it wasn't a good idea to stay like that for a long period of time.
Mind wandering, he neglected to continue doing paper work. Though as someone walked outside of the door, he broke out of his mental state and began to work on the little bit that was left. Looking at his watch once more, he saw that there was only fifteen minutes till the end of the shift. He was relieved for that but also worried about Mrs. Fields. He was sure there were others capable of helping her if she needed it, but he was especially worried about loosing another patient. The door to the room opened and Saxum looked up to see who it was, sure that is was a regular RN that was here to give her the medication. "I can give that to her if you would like." He offered before even seeing who it was.

It would be nice to travel Adeliyah supposed but it simply wasn't practical. What would happen if ever someone discovered who she was let alone if she walked into another were packs territory. Blinking her eyes she scanned the charts filling out more paper work. " You look terrible." Natalie commented. " Yea my head it's hurting." She explained.
" Medicine time now Natalie." Nudging the older woman she stood up. " Just give me a sec to file this paper work away." Filingn the papers away she stood up gathering a medicine chart nearly home time, not that she was counting down the minutes. Moving through the different patients room she administered the medicine aiding Natalie. " I'm going to go check on Mrs Fields." Moving towards the womans room she sensed Sam inside the room. " Hello." She spoke politely. With a firm shake of her head she administered the medicine on the woman before checking on her stats. " Well it was nice to meet you Sam." Giving him a genuine smile she walked out of the room. " Night Sarah." Yawning she rubbed her temple. " Your headache that bad?" Sarah inquired. " Yeah it's terrible. " She answered. " Hey you walking down to the car park now?" Natalie interupted. Car park...oh god she'd walked to work. Uh oh. Keeping calm she shook her head. " I was umm..going to walk." She said softly. " What you live like a half hours drive away." Natalie spoke in a shocked tone. " It's dark. Sarah tell her she can't walk. " Appealing to the other Nurse Natalie waited for Sarahs answer. " She's right. Just catch a taxi Adeliyah. You'll be safer that way"

f course it had been Adeliyah. He had recognized the sent but it just hadn't clicked, his skills having dulled some. He was glad that she had given him a genuine smile and smiled back, "Same to you Adeliyah. Have a good night and be safe. I heard a rumor that a wolf was spotted outside of the hospital. Be careful. They bite." He told her, an odd glint in his eyes as he spoke of the wolf. He found it quite odd that there was a wolf about in the city, though he had known there was a clan here so he wasn't all that surprised. Mostly that one had been seen though was why he had been a bit shocked when he had heard of it. That meant that the clan here was getting reckless he guessed. That wasn't a good thing and if he didn't care if he caused trouble, he would march up to their alpha and give them a piece of his mind. From what he had been able to discern, the clan was having issues too. There were some obvious signs that there was one present in this city. Something that should never happen.
He finished up his paperwork and clocked out late. He didn't notice Adeliyah as he left and figured that she had left early. He assumed that she had driven here, as most of the employees did. Saxum lived a bit far as well but he found the confines of a metal machine not to his liking. Passing the garage, he caught the wiff of Adeliyah's scent past the garage. It seemed as though she had walked home. Maybe she lived close, he mused and didn't think much of it as he enjoyed his stroll
His pace quickened as the night grew on a bit, the breeze picking up some. He felt as though he had been punched in the face as the scent of Adeliyah flew into him. Apparently she didn't live close as he had been walking for over a half hour. He was closing in on his apartments but it seemed as though Adeliyah lived near by. It was then that he felt a gut instinct that something might not be right. So he continued on his path, following her scent and finding that it was actually right next door from where he lived. Who would have known, he thought humorously as he headed towards the apartment complex, dark green shirt and jeans blending in with the dark night.

The story was getting around. Oh how careless she had been. Certiantly when the pack heard they would be furious. " A wolf in the city. How silly. The animal control have probably picked it up by now." Disconcerned she shrugged her shoulders. " I'll be careful though."
With Sarah and Natalie disputing her well being she gave them a small innocent smile. That's right work the small docile, fragile human being image that she apparently was. " Alright, alright I give. I'll go get a taxi." ' Taxi my ass ' Walking obediedently to the taxi rank like a good little girl she exited the hospital doors. Coast clear she changed forms. I ran here I intend on running back home.
In wolf form the journey was quick. Arriving near her street she stopped faltering Sameth's scent along with others of her pack strong in the air. Where they now watching her. Changing she edged cautiously home finding Sameth standing cockily in the door way. Glancing around the open door way she grimaced her apartment thorougly trashed " So you break into my apartment now Brother?" Fixing the street a cautious look she folded her arms. So many scents who was out there it was getting hard to place it to any one individual she knew. " There gone Adeliyah." Embarrassed that Sameth picked up on the fact that she was having trouble using her senses she looked away. " You don't play happily families. You follow Marklos like a little dog. What is it you want whelp?"

As he got closer, the clear scent of weres filled his nostrils. There had been a few here now, though were they gone? Taking a rather deep breath he found that only Adeliyah's and another's were the strongest he could taste, however he was having a bit of trouble distinguishing between the two. It was because he hadn't shifted in a long while. He had to grimace though as he imagined the pain he would feel the next time he did, if he ever did.
His mind now blazing with questions, and concerns for his co-worker, Saxum followed her scent, and the strangers, to where her apartment one. As soon as he could hear voices, he slowed his pace and turned the corner. He saw Adeliyah and a male, they looked some what similar in appearance though he wasn't sure they were related. He smelled strongly of musk, as if he shifted regularly. Though if they were related then that meant that Adeliyah was a were too. Curiosity laced in his brow, especially since he smelt a very slight sweet musk coming from Adeliyah.
Making his entrance, he tried to make it seem as if he was quite worried. "Oh, Adeliyah!" He exclaimed, trying to sound surprised. He hadn't heard anything they had spoke of, just their voices. "I thought I heard a scream from over here and I just wanted to check. It must have been my imagination though." He said, putting his hand behind his head and chuckling awkwardly. Golden honey eyes glanced over at the male, the serious tone in them obvious as his senses told him to be wary of him. ((A tad bit crappy sorry.))

" I am not allowed to call on my older sister?" Ignoring the clear mocking tone she gave a quick scan of the street. Could she risk changing here? " If only that was the truth Sameth." It was saddening how close they had been but now this cold hatred was this how it was to remain. " I don't appreciate you destroying my appartment." She hissed at him. " I didn't do that." Blinking her eyes suprised she looked over at the appartment. " So it just magicaly totalled itself did it Sameth." Narrowed eyes she stared at him expectantly. " The council did it." Oh nice one liner. " Why would they do such a thing. I've done nothing to them."
With a smirk Sameth placed a hand to his lips before looking over to the shadows where Sam then stepped into the light. " Most interesting. " He commented picking up on the musk scent from the male. " You two know eachother?" Was Adeliyah that naive not to know what the male was. " We work together. He is a doctor on the ward." Giving Sam a smile grateful smile she looked at Sameth carefully. He didn't scare her but something was definitely off about him, it made her quite wary. " This is my half brother Sameth and he was just leaving or I will be calling the police."
" Hmm you don't believe. What would I gain out of trashing your appartment." He hissed in her ear. " Maybe you were simply bored Sameth I don't care just leave me alone." As he eyed of Sam for a moment she moved further away from him. He was stronger then she remembered, no longer the weak boy she'd looked out for or was she perhaps weaker now. " Fine." He suddenly drawled lazily. With a last smirk he turned walking down the stairs. " We will be in touch and I will be back." He threatened before walking down the street.
Groaning softly she rubbed her temple. " I'm sorry. My brother and I aren't as close as we once were..but as I haven't seen him for a few years...well I didn't think he was that bad till now." Simple beautiful lies were bound to work weren't they.

Watching the exchange intently and with hidden interest, Saxum was definitley quit intrigued, though to ask about it or not? He wasn't sure. He definitley knew that this Sameth was a were though since he was a half brother to Adeliyah, he wasn't so sure about her. If she was than she hadn't shifted in a while. That or he was jut a bad scent now when it came to finding out his own kind.
He could hear a few of the words that came from the harsh whispers the siblings shared. He was patient though and didn't say anything at the threatening tones that both of them carried. Once he had left, Adeliyah began to speak to Saxum. He stepped a little closer towards her and peaked into her apartment. "Ouch." He muttered and turned towards her, the words she had spoken ringing in his ears. "I don't rightly believe you but eh, whatever. Your business is your business after all." He commented, shrugging his shoulders in a non committal way.
Leaning up against the wall, his honey eyes gazed at her with a serious tone. "Do you want me to stay a little while in case he comes back?" He offered, being the good guy that he was. Sure they had just met but still, he wasn't going to leave and then find out that she had been hurt later. That just wouldn't sit on him morally, especially after his past incidents. It would just haunt him ever more. If she said no than he would stay outside and watch, he tried to make that apparent in his body style. He didn't trust Sameth, not one bit, nor did he like the musky little whelp for that was all he was from what Saxum could tell. An over grown pup.
"I can also help you clean up if you would like. That kind of mess just hurts to look at." He added. There was no sign of danger from him, only a sense of kindness. He wasn't trying to pull anything on her and was merely trying to be a good person. He had a lot of good to do to if he was to make up for his past sins and he had questions that he wanted to ask Adeliyah, though he wasn't sure if they should be uttered right now.

Ouch truly didn't begin to cover it. The mess was gigantic however was she going to clean up after it. Rubbing her eves she looked away from Sam. " I lied." there was no point of denying that. " he's dangerous." uncomfortable she took a step towards the front door. A humans death was no little thing she couldn't cope if something happened to sam because of her brother. " he will be back but you should stay clear. It isn't safe for you."
emphasis on the you part she looked away from him once again. " i just don't think it's a good idea." she spoke in a worried tone. " if he comes back he might bring the others." falling silent she held a worried expression now she was telling to much

Listening to her words, his face dropped as she emphasized the 'you', in the 'it isn't safe for you.' Pinching the bridge of his nose, he swore under his breath "Pula meai. Luna de ajutor de mai sus mă." Sighing, he looked up at her, his honey golden eyes full of mixed emotions. What to do now. It was obvious to him now that she either knew about werewolves or was one. That or she really thought he looked scrawny which would be weird considering he was taller than her brother and had some very nice muscle definition. But that wasn't the point.
"I think I can handle a bunch of mangy wolves." He finally said, his eyes going blank as he waited to see her reaction. His eyes flashed in the light, his expression going more guarded and predatory. If she was a were than this could be a dangerous relationship. He was an unknown in anothers territory. That never usually bade well for anyone. However, he had no clan of his own now, despite coming from a rather prestigious one, they were gone. All of them but him now remain and the legacy that they left behind. He was here and could carry it on by impregnating another of his kind, but to him that wasn't a top priority. He was still too heart broken to think of mating right now.
His accent came out in full force now as he was frustrated and curious, his emotions running a bit high as he wasn't sure what to expect. "Can we go inside now? I need to talk to you." He said, keeping his eyes down from her own, playing the submissive wolf as he didn't know her ranking or status with the clan that Sameth came from, though from the looks of it, it wasn't good. It didn't hurt to be careful though. If she happened to not be in a good standing than he would return to his alpha mode. He was once the top dog and now a loner, though he would show respect were due and also be polite and since it was polite to not lock eyes with an unknown than he wouldn't, though he wanted to badly.

Catching the very roman words she looked at Sam curiously. " Well I guess this is good night. " Moving to the door way she faltered his words definitely suprising her. Most interesting, the way Sameth had spoken had left her curious. Sam was a were how had she not picked up on it. Eyes narrowed she smelt the faint musky scent her hand slidding down to her hips resting on the dagger she kept hidden. " Sameth knew." Frustrated she kicked the door lightly. Jesus she was so out of touch.
At his words she laughed nastily. Truly he though he could go against Sameth and his friends. The wolves were dirty fighters never mind the fact that they foughts together just as packs did. " Can you really little were?"
Dropping her docile act she turned around giving him a feral grin. " I would not call Carpathian wolves mangy. " Still toying with the idea of unsheathing her dagger she took a step into the apartment motioning for him to follow then quickly slamned the door shut. Not wasting a second she flipped the dagger out of her pocket as she watched him with a dangerous expression. " I no longer enjoy the company of weres so speak quickly."
Still cautious predicting an attack she contemplated changing but decided against it. One in wolf form she was strong, now she doubted her chances she'd be better off using the knives and various weapons hidden around the house.

Little were? That was something that annoyed him to no end. He opened his mouth to protest as he followed her through the door. Then she called them Carpathian wolves. No more polite Saxum. Eyes snapping upwards, he began exuding the power of an alpha. It was what he was...what he had been bred for and so he would hold his position despite not having a pack to back him. Leaning forward, his eyes on her, despite the knife she had pulled, he spoke in a low tone with precise words. "Then you have truly not been to the Carpathian mountains." He said, a slight growl at the back of his throat. "And I like to think I am not so little." A feral smile formed on his lips as he walked around the room, picking up a lamp and plugging it in. He would let her take that last sentence however she wished.
Alas things weren't going very well. By the way she was acting, Adeliyah seemed to think that he was here to attack her. A stifled yawn came from him, revealing pointed canines and a pink tongue. He wasn't go to play games with this girl though. He really had no interest in her clan or anything, even though she mentioned that she didn't enjoy the company of weres. "Nor do I much any more." He said and promptly sat down. He wasn't showing signs of attack nor was he defending himself. In all honesty he looked a little peeved and exhausted. "I offered to help because I thought it would be nice but I can see you don't really want it. I only think of you as a co-worker, nothing more." He began, looking at his fingers as though they had some invisible mess on them. "I don't care about clans or traditions anymore either so if you are expecting me to be some sort of warrior for another clan, you would be wrong. I have no clan and am far from home. Attack me and I will have a reason to attack back but I am happy to keep things to myself right now." He told her, giving her and intense, narrow eyed gaze. He wasn't worried about her attacking him though. He wasn't exuding any kind of hidden agenda. He just wanted to sleep but he was worried for his co-workers well being, a were or not, he couldn't just walk away in good conscious.
However he had felt particularly insulted at being called little. He wasn't sure what they did for insults but that was a very disrespectful thing to say. He didn't take it as hard as he would have if he was still in power, hell no one would have messed with him then but now he wasn't and he had no one to back him if he was in a fight. Wolves were social creatures as were humans and being a were, you were a tad bit of both so naturally wanting to be in a group came as an instinct. However, Saxum's trauma kept him from his desire to join another clan. He just didn't was to have the feeling of being in a family ripped away from him once again. It was something that the golden eyed male couldn't come to accept.

Walking slowly through the room her eyes snapped up to meet his before her gaze snapped to the ground. Old habbits never did quite dissapear. For all his faults Marklos has raised his children with respect. As an alphas daughter she was not permitted to meet the gaze of an alpha they were her better. Hands curled into tight fists she raised her head to stare darkly at him. This was the human world there were no rankings, be what he was he had no authority over her.
Stepping away from him she looked away some what ashamed that she'd submitted like a common dog. " Be that as it may one can not deny that their is carpathian blood around if one knows where to look." With a coy smirk she leant against the door way leading into the kitchen.
Not so impressed that he was making himself right at home in her home she pursed her lips some. " Oh?" She spoke in a lazy manner. " Not little hmmm." With a cold smirk she laughed. " If you say so." Turning her back to him she walked into the kitchen. " I wont have your blood on my hands." Picking up a chair she gazed around the room. Truly the place was an enormous eye sore wait till she got her hands on Sameth she'd really kick his ass. Spotting a broken picture frame she knelt down gently picking it up as she took in the image. It was the same image she stared at every morning whilst having breakfast. Sameth was standing next to her smiling such a rare sight for him indeed.
" I was doing you a favour. I thought you were a human." Slamning a draw back into place her hands fell to her hips. " You have your past, I have mine." ' Keep calm don't start threatening him especially when your too weak to do anything. ' Grabbing a glass she poured herself some water from the pitcher. Truly did he think she cared for warriors. Closing her eyes she took a drink before returning to the living room. " I can't attack you. Fed up with her splitting headache she cautiously took a seat. " I didn't say I didn't want help. I merely suggested it wasn't a good idea. Your a wolf, as am I but with out packs we are nobodies. So both equal." It didn't mean she quite trusted him but she'd give it a shot.

Saxum couldn't help but smirk at Adeliyah's words, though he had to ignore all of the looks that she had been given him. If he were the alpha and she in his clan, he would have not tolerated how she was behaving, though he was not and she had every right to behave in such a manner. Propping his elbow on the edge of his seat, he leaned his head on his land, gazing at Adeliyah. He watched her movements though not so much once she admitted that wouldn't attack him. However, his eyes didn't leave her body. He wasn't looking at her as one might expect though. Instead he was judging her as a female were, trying to discern her capabilities by how she moved. It was always a nice thing to know.
It took a moment as he was taking in everything she had said. He didn't respond to anything at first either, though he had chuckled lightly when she had commented on his saying he wasn't so little. He realized that she would be fun in a duel of wit. Honey gold eyes looked at her, soft around the edges. He really meant no harm here and as long as she understood that, they should be fine. Although he had found it odd how easily she had submitted to him when he treated her like a subordinate. Either she had been very low in her pack to start with or she had been taught a strong respect for authorities. He thought it to be the latter as her personality did not place her at the bottom of the ranks.
"Saying that we are nobodies may be a bit of a stretch." He finally said, his voice soft and giving away his weariness. "The thing an alpha fears the most is a strong loner coming to challenge his spot." He added, a sly grin placed on his lips. "Though personally I prefer being a loner and would rather it stay that way." He then said, making sure she didn't think he was going after her clan. He wasn't but the comment might have come across as such. Sighing some, he closed his eyes and leaned his head back. He wasn't worried about Adeliayah attacking him, though he kept his ears trained on any unusual noises, he just knew they were going to come back and if they did, it was going to be excruciating for him.

It was an unerving thing having a were seated this close to her. As he eyed her off she gave him a sly smirk. " See something you like hmm?" Already having realised the purpose of his looks she crossed her legs. " Don't bother. I realise I could not take you on." It didn't mean she still wouldn't enjoy it but the reality was she was to weak. " I have not shifted untill today for many years." Lazily she stared at him through half shut eyes. " I'm fast. Quite fast I think in that area I could hold my own still." With a snicker she opened her eyes staring at him. " They say brain over brawn don't they. You have brawn clearly so...perhaps I have that advantage over you."
Finished with her drink she stood up moving into the kitchen. "I am a nobody and as such intend to stay that way." Turning on the tap she rinsed the cup out. " I can't say I know how an alpha works, much less a pack. I am not in a pack. " It was a small white lie of course she knew very well how an alpha worked, but she was indeed packless. " I don't think you could stuff it up any worse then Marklos has though. I care not if you are interested in the lycan pack or not. I live as a human. That was my choice for which I was banished and that was quite a long time a go."

"Even though you say you may not be able to take me on, it is a good idea to assess anyone's weakness and strengths." He responded, a sly grin forming on his lips. He didn't mention that he did like what he saw and he wasn't planning on it. She had been bred well, he would admit that but no more, especially to her face. When she had brought up her speed, he had already assessed that fact. Sure he had only assumed her to be above average due to her leg length and build but by how she said it, that was her gift. Interesting, he mused silently, quirking and eyebrow as she pretty well called him dumb. Sitting up right, he turned to her, his intelligent honey colored eyes amused looking. "Where I am from we do not pick our pack leaders on just strength alone. I am not weak but I will tell you that I didn't become a doctor out of pure luck." He simply stated, leaning back but keeping his eyes on her. Saxum was a good mix between strong and smart. He could hold his own fairly well in a battle but when his strength wasn't enough, his cunning usually brought his victory. Curious as to how this was all going to turn out, Saxum kept his eyes slitted open though just barely.
"I banned myself from ever entering a pack again." He admitted truthfully, the pain from that time still present in his voice as he spoke of it, though it was subtle and he hid it in his face. He wouldn't tell her the reasons why as he was sure she wouldn't tell him her own, so he figured it would be a mutual thing, out of respect for each others privacy. "What are the chances that he will come back?" He questioned without looking at her and then added, "And if I might ask, who is Marklos? The alpha?"
