" I'll keep that in mind for the next encounter with weres that I don't want." Walking out of the kitchen she regarded him with a lazy expression. "Where I am from we kill for position." Not caring at all how morbid that sounded she bent down picking up a stack of fallen books. " I don't believe in luck. " Placing them neatly into the book shelf she stood up smoothing out her shirt. " I didn't say you were stupid. I thought quite highly of you earlier." Pursing her lips she frowned lightly. " And I am not so docile. Believe me when I say, if need be I can hold my own."
Her reputation still lasted even after her banishment. " I'd ban myself from entering a pack. All those awfully smelly dogs." With a sigh she picked up a few more scattered items. God awful mess was frustating. " Marklos is the Alpa. When I said he was of carpathian blood I wasn't kidding. He's mean...don't cross his path and he wont cross yours."
It wasn't like she had to mention she was his daughter right? Turning her back to him she straightened up another shelf. " He'll be back...

Saxum smirked. Killing for positions was quite normal, in fact if their wasn't a death it was rare. There were various trials that one had to go through to become an alpha, the main one that most packs used was a duel. However for the pack to accept you there were usually questions involved and maybe some sort of quest out in the mountains. It usually depended on what pack you were trying to gain a position in.
"And I wouldn't doubt it for a minute." He responded, a nod of acknowledgment coming from him. He wanted to thank her for the complement but let his eyes do that. He thought it nice of her to admit that she had thought highly of him at one point in time. "Maybe you should give those dogs of yours a bath then." He commented with humor as he noticed her picking up more items, smelling a bit of frustration coming off of her. Standing up he began to help, picking up various items and placing them where he thought that they might go.
"Sounds like an interesting man." Saxums tone was a tad bit sarcastic, though it held the hint that he understood that he shouldn't cross him. He wasn't planning on it though. He would rather keep to himself, he was definitley not expecting to meet a were so quickly in this city. When Adeliyah said that her brother would be back, Saxum sighed some. That would me another sleepless night before a long shift again tomorrow. Luckily his body could take such abuse. It just meant he would need to eat a bit more food and maybe drink a cup of hot chocolate.....or five. "What are his skills?" He then asked, wanting to know in case a fight broke out. "And what are the little whelps like that he drags with him?" He also added, assuming that he would bring other. His kind generally did in Saxum's experience.

With a small smirk she nodded her head. " You'd do well to remember it." Looking up into his honey colour eyes she gave a small brief nod understanding the conveyed message. He'd been alright she decided. He wasn't a threat to her and as a were it wasn't like her seEcret wasn't safe with him. " I'd rather drown them." She replied. With careful eyes she watched as he stood up, realise he posed no threat she backed of letting him assist her in tidying up. " Thankyou."
Interesting, it didn't begin to explain Marklos. " I suppose." Ignoring his sarcastic tone she moved into the kitchen beginning to tidy that up. Nibbling on her bottom lip she paused deep in thought. Telling Sam of Sameth's skills was basically selling her brother out. " The last I remember..he wasn't very good at anything. He was just a kid then he's taller then I remember, and stronger." Not that it didn't mean she was that strong anymore.
Did Sameth even keep the same group of friend he'd had all those years ago. Rubbing her temples she sighed. Headaches were such a pain in the ass. " I don't know." She spoke slightly uncertian. He wouldn't bring Marklos would he. Surely they didn't want her help that much. " He may bring my father."

Saxum laughed at her words. "That would be an interesting site to see." He chuckled, eyes brightening some, the life returning into his tired body as he moved around. If he didn't keep moving his body would try and force him into a rest like state. He would still be aware but that wasn't good enough for watch duty. Plus, he was more likely to forget about the waiting and just plain old fall asleep.
He nodded his head at Adeliyah's thanks. It was only natural to be polite on territory that was not your own and since she hadn't kicked him out yet, he figured he would assist in cleaning up the mess. Sameth had done quite the job of tearing the place up. If it had been Saxum's place, the brat would have a pretty little set of scars to remember him by, but Adeliyah didn't seem to be that way and sometimes Saxum could be harsh. It had served him well for the short period of time that he had been an alpha, though he had made a few enemies because of it.
It seemed that Adeliyah didn't know much about her brother anymore. He was quiet for a moment after she spoke, picking up a few things here and there. Finally he followed her into the kitchen but stopped when she mentioned that her father might come. The look on his face said it all. Shock, worry, and an out right fuck me moment was going on in his head. It actually took him a moment to figure out what he had been about to say but dismissed it as he found the probability of her father coming much more important. "How likely do you think he will come?" He questioned, walking over to her and picking up a towel that he found on the ground. Mindlessly, he began to wipe off the counter, even after it had been sufficiently swept over. If he was to meet the alpha then there would be all sorts of things he was going to have to go through. He just hoped that this were was even tempered and wasn't a join or die type. He hated nasty ones like those.

{ Only because I want to keep hidden the fact that she was an alphas daughter for a bit longer I'll just slightly adjust in my reply the part about Sam meeting the alpha. Sorry } Despite her exhausted state a small laugh escaped Adeliyah's lips. " Mmm it would be quite the sight wouldn't it." Despite her tired state her mind was wired. Too much had happened for her to even begin to contemplate the thought of sleeping. Besides the added risk was the fact Sameth would more then likely return along with the chance he may bring reinforcements. Noting how careful Sam was acting around her she sighed softly. Okay maybe she'd done nothing but act the biggest pain not that the fault was entirely hers. She'd truly thought he was going to attack her. " This is awkward." She muttered. Something she'd craved for was other weres. It was painfully lonely being by ones self but now that the opportunity was there she couldn't quite make sense of what to do. Setting her brown eyes onto him she watched quietly as he cleaned the kitchen. " Is it easy for you not being in a pack?" Although she wouldn't admit it she was terribly lonely. The pack. That's what she missed the most, just having a family to call your own was something she wanted. " You know I really could''t tell you. When I left the pack my father said he'd never talk to me again..as did my brother. Only now Sameth wants something. Something must be wrong with the pack."

Saxum's eyebrows rose some as Adeliyah laughed. At least she was being a bit more relaxed it seems. Though that thought left as she muttered about this being awkward. He shrugged his shoulders at it and put a few items up right on the kitchen counter. It really wasn't that bad spending time with her. Despite the whole, she thought he was going to attack her thing, it wasn't that bad. Sure she made a few sarcastic remarks here, a couple of snide comments there. It didn't really bother him at all though, he didn't quite blame her for it.
Feeling her eyes on him, Saxum's honey eyes turned to meet her own, Adeliyah's question catching him a bit off guard. He didn't respond right away, mulling over the question. "I wouldn't say it is easy for me..." He finally began, his tone heavy with an accent and thought. "We are naturally social creatures but I would say I feel more at peace." He finished with that, not wanting to go into the details of why he felt that way. Lets just say it had to do with him being the reason for his entire pack being wiped out.
Turning to face her completley, Saxum leaned up against the table, his features looking more predatory as he tilted his head to the side, face with a suave smirk. "I take it as you miss it some." He told her, shadows on his face due to his slight stubble. His tone wasn't mocking though, it was mainly just trying to get her to admit it. It was normal to for lycans to feel that way so he wouldn't ridicule her for it. ((That's fine ^.^))

With a tiny smirk Adeliyah whipped her head up staring at his raised eyebrows. " I'm not totally uptight. I laugh some times." Turning around she surveyed the room. For the most part the kitchen and loungue room look presentable. That really only left her bedroom. Decidedly that was definitely of limits for Sam to enter. " I'll be back." Giving him a you follow I'll bite you look she turned on her heels walking out of the kitchen and past the loungue room to check on her bedroom. It wasn't as if she'd expected the room to be tidy but it was still a small shock. Her belongings had been scattered across the room so needlessly but seriously did he have to tip the draws out also. Such a violation of her privacy.
Walking out of the room she closed the door firmly behind her then walked back into the kitchen. " I think that's enough cleaning wouldn't you agree." He might not act it, but if there was any chance Sam was as tired as she herself was cleaning wasn't going to help them. " It looks alright for now. " Not really but she could go full out OCD on the rooms when the sun is up.
Scrunching her nose up deep in thought her eyes lingered on his. " Interesting." Ignoring his question she took in his predatory expression. " Bad dog. " With her only little smirk she glanced out the window. Admitting to that was admitting to a large weakness she had. Not something she took to lightly. " Some aspects of the pack.. I miss yes." She had been an alphas child, an heir at that. She'd lived a fairly spoilt childhood and being Marklos's only favourite had definitely helped her title. " I missed Sameth mostly. We were close as kids. I always felt I should of taken him with me when they kicked me out. " With a small shrug she looked back at him. Sameth had only been a kid when she'd left, heck she'd still been a kid who had decided to complete her last two years of school. A big no no in the eyes of Marklos.
" I always imagined someone from Romania with gorgeous looks, a hot accent, and an exotic name." With a cheeky smile she stared at him her eyes sparkling with mischief. " So what kind of name is Sam. Surely that isn't your real name. "

Saxum just nodded his head when Adeliyah left. He found her look kind of humerus but none the less, he didn't follow. That wouldn't be a very good or nice thing to do and Saxum wasn't about to be rude to his host. He straitened up a picture frame or two and cleaned off the rest of the kitchen counters, feeling as though he just needed something to do. Being on another's territory felt weird, even if he was being allowed for the time being.
"Bad dog? Me? Noooo." He responded after she came in and called him a name. He smiled slightly at it, his words slightly sarcastic and filled with humor. However he was quite serious when Adeliyah told him that she missed Sameth the most. It was a bit touching really, though a bit of irony was there too. "It is too late for that now I would think." He said softly, though didn't mention that it seemed as though the pup held a bit of disdain or maybe was a bit upset with her for leaving. Though that could just be that was how he thought it would normally work, however, things never seemed to be how they seemed at first.
Her mood though shifted some and Saxum couldn't help but smirk at Adeliyah's next words. "Well I am nice to look at aren't I. And my accent does attract the ladies." He said, his eyes rolling as he accentuated his accent. It was obvious that he was just rolling with what she was saying, not really trying to be full of himself. "As for my name, you are quite perceptive. Sam is not my real name but I think people might treat me differently if they had to call me Saxum." He then added, slipping in his name at the end. He just hoped that word hadn't gotten here through the council. Though they had set him up and lied, some packs would not treat him kindly. After all the council called him a clan killer. Sure it had been his fault that his clan had been wiped out but he hadn't done it himself as the council said.

It was still rather weird having another were in her apartment but there wasn't much she could do about it. When Sameth returned, as she knew he would then he'd bring others. She could hold her own against a few of them but didn't quite fancy having her ass handed to her. Despite how uncomfortable it made her feel she probably would need Sam's help.
" Well you are a dog." Smiling lightly in return she moved to the fridge. " Would you like something to eat or drink. " Now that he was no longer the threat of the night she may as well treat him decently. Deciding she wanted a coffee she boiled the jug leaning against the bench. " I think you're right." With a small shrug she got herself a mug. " He doesn't seem to like me much does he." Not really dwelling on the thought she got the milk from the fridge.
" You know I distinctly recall not mentioning you in my expectations of Romanian people." Playfully she stuck her tongue out then looked him up and down. " I suppose it's different now though." With a smirk she sat on the bench swinging her legs lightly. " You were human. That made you off limits." She explained. Tilting her head she looked at him earnestly. " Hmmm Saxum is much nicer."

Snickering at her retort, Saxum perked up at her offer of food and drink. "A glass of water would be wonderful." His tone was grateful and his look appreciative that she had offered. However as she began to brew coffee, the smell made his mouth water. "Maybe a cup of coffee too, please?" He added, eying the where the delightful smell was coming from. He was always a fan of warm drinks. Coffee usually wasn't his thing but it would perk his senses up and it always smelt wonderful, at least not when stale.
As her comments of her brother brushed past his ears, Saxum shrugged his shoulders. It was none of his business though really. He felt for her but that was about it. There was nothing else he could say about it without being out of line. Especially since they had just met.
A barking laugh came from Saxum at Adeliya's show of childishness. It was nice to see her a bit more relaxed around him though. "I suppose you didn't." He laughed softly. Though when she pretty well said that that had only been because had been portraying a human, his eyebrows raised. He felt her eyes looking him up and down but that didn't bother him. In fact he smirked, a bit of a coy smile on his lips. "I'm glad you approve." He growled out, meeting her eyes. If he was in the process of looking for a mate, he might have sought Adeliyah out for a candidate but he was past that now and felt that he had no right to one so he kept his beastial cravings in check, despite his sudden urge to check her out as a potential mate. He was fine with teasing and flirting with the female but he had to stop himself past that.

With a nod of her head in response Adeliyah pushed of from the bench. " A glass of water it is then." Grabbing a glass she opened the fridge grabbing the pitcher. As he asked for a coffee she gave him a small smile. " Guilty pleasure. I love coffee." Pouring the glass of water she handed Saxum the glass before fetching another mug. Yum freshly brewed coffee was always the best. " Milk or sugar?" She asked as she poured the coffee into the mugs.
" I didn't say I approved either." Smirking some she titled her head. " I think you'd best not try and figure me out it might hurt your head. " She spoke in a light teasing manner. Turning back to the coffees she frowned the light scent of Sameth making her falter. " About time." Forgetting the coffee she stepped away from the kitchen. How far away was he. Once she'd been able to pinpoint his exact location but now it was troublesome to admitt she couldn't place where he was. " There is others." Pursing her lips she picked up on another familiar scent.
" This is going to be a long night. I can smell three others with Sameth." Titling her head she looked at Saxum. " I don't know if there are others...it's been years like I said since i've shifted." This was really quite a suckish situation all around.

"Thank you." He returned, taking the glass of water and raising his eyebrows with a smile as she told him that coffee was a guilty pleasure of her. That was something to know he supposed, sipping on the water he watched her go for another mug. An odd sent began to tingle at his nose, though he ignored it, listening to Adeliyah. He chuckled slightly at her comment. "Even if it hurts my head, I am sure that you would make a fantastic puzzle." He told her, honesty in his voice. She would definitley be an interesting one to figure out. Though that apparently would have to wait for later.
Listening to her words, Saxum just continued to sip on his water, not really concerned that she had sensed her brother and a few others. That must have been what he had been sensing but that didn't mater much. He wasn't concerned about it though he did have to admit that Adeliyah was right. This was going to be a long night and although he hoped he wouldn't have to, Saxum knew he was going to be in a lot of pain come time to shift. "Don't worry. I haven't for a while either..." He commented, his honey eyes looking to her. "It is going to be quite painful." He added, sighing. "And you might as well drink the coffee while you have the change. They will be here in a minute or so." Shrugging his shoulders, his finished off his water and looked contentedly towards the front of the apartment. Lovely fun this was to be, he mused as he waited.

Adeliyah released a soft chuckle at his words. Saxum thought of her as a puzzle. With a slight smirk she gave a lazy shrug of her shoulders. " Perhaps but that is if you figure me out isn't it?" Feeling his gaze on her she turned her head looking into his honey coloured eyes. She was beginning to find him most interesting. Inquisitive as always questions lay on the tip of her tongue but she stopped herself. It wasn't like she'd share her own stories it would be uncalled for to pry into his. " I suppose you're right." Taking a sip of her coffee she placed his next to him on the bench.
This wasn't to be her night after all. As their footsteps drew closer she leant against the bench sipping the coffee enjoying the warmth it provided. When the door opened she blinked her eyes not even suprised. It was hardly like she expected them to knock.
" Are you going to talk now sister?" Deliberatly taking her time she placed the mug down on the bench. There were plenty things she could think of that she'd rather do. Giving them a hard gaze she eyed the men standing next to Sameth. Rather then be intimidated by the power they were displaying she breathed a soft sigh. Four of them she doubted her chance even against two of them. Irritated some what as they walked into the kitchen she gave a soft growl. " You are weak Adeliyah. What do you think you can do." Bane taunted.

Nodding his head with a smile, Saxum responded, "Of course. Not all puzzles can be figured out unless given the key by their creator." It was a bit cryptic sounding but it made sense too Saxum. It was rare for anyone to figure out another's mind unless given special privileges to see inside of it. That wasn't possible for Saxum though so he was just going to have to do things the hard way.
Taking a deep breath of the coffee laden air, Saxum heard the weres reach the front door. He could tell that Adeliyah did as well. He merely watched as they entered and confronted the female. He didn't say anything at first, trying to tone down and hide his aura, not wanting them to be able to tell how strong he was. There were four though, he would probably get hurt if he took them on by himself, especially since he would be underpowered due to the pain of shifting after so long. Softly breathing, he watched the males closely, trying to distinguish their strengths and weaknesses though that was most difficult as they were standing still. Walking up behind Adeliyah, Saxum made sure that the others knew he was present.
Maybe they would be less likely to attack with him here. Especially since he wasn't of their clan and they didn't know whose clan they might insult, though he didn't have one; Saxum could always pretend. "I would say she would have help if you try and hurt her. So with me as an ally she is not so weak." He butted in, not wanting it to escalate quickly. He knew how families could be. You say one thing, they take it as something else. You talk snarky to each other and even if you try to be calm it doesn't work all the time. He just hoped that his presence wouldn't hurt the situation more.

" That is assuming one would give you the key." Folding her arms over her chest she reminded herself to breathe normally. It wasn't like she was scared of them more over whelmed as the reality sunk in there was more then them. Unable to figure out any of their strengths and weaknesses wasn't in the least bit helpful either.
It wasn't fair of her to have Saxum here. It had been some time since either of them shifted, was it possible they'd even stand a chance. Tilting her head she looked back at Saxum as he stood behind her.
" So be it then Adeliyah." With a cold look Sameth shifted sitting back on his hunches watching as his three pack mates shifted. He'd get Adeliyah to comply on way or another. ' You will talk to Marklos or I will rip your throat out." He growled. Moving quicly he lunged for her only to have Adeliyah move quicker then he could follow. ' You are still fast. I'll give you that much but unless you shift you wont stand a chance.'
His words echoed in her head making her tense up. He was right. She could dodge him all she liked but unless she shifted he'd end up tiring her out. She was just free bait if she kept this up. Irritated that it had come to this she shifted a flash of pain hitting her body as she bit back the nusea. She was so going to regret this later.
Tossing her head proudly she took a step as Sameth charged at her. Wincing some she felt his jaws clamp down on her leg a splatter of blood flicking across her white fur. Well if he wanted to play dirty then so be it. Growling she shook him off shoving him against a wall as her own jaws clamped hard down onto his fur.
