Zeru was a little satisfied when she smiled up at him enough to where he could go and sit down at his seat. He really wanted to talk to her and explain things about that night but still he wasn't sure how to go about that. He watched her from his seat and her face seemed to portray so many thoughts and that began to worry Zeru. What was going through her mind? Was pretty much all he could think.
He got a nudge from someone and Zeru snapped back a little. He looked around and saw Kenji looking at him and then Kojim was but Takado was facing forward at the board. 'What?' He mouthed and Kojim pointed at Yuki while Kenji pointed at Zeru. 'It's nothing' he tried to tell them and then pointed to the front of the classroom. Zeru didn't want to be bothered about his little stunt with Yuki cause he wasn't even sure what he wanted out of it.

Yukina was starting to drift in the teachers announcements. She couldn't seem to stay focused on all the issues and events the teacher droned on about. She found them trivial next to other things that were going on. "Yuki, you look like a zombie! Quit staring at the back of poor Endo-san. You're making him uncomfortable." Maka hissed to her under her breath and Yukina blinked. The guy infront of her glanced back at her and she whispered a small apology before bowing her head with a blush. hse really was losing it. "Alright, with spring almost on its way, everyone is prepared to start thinking about what our class will do for the schools festival, correct?" The teacher said and a couple of the students looked enthusiastic, others seemed apathetic. Yukina was possibly the only one that seemed confused. "Festival?" She looked at Sayuri and Maka who patted her on the back with small tisks. "Still too American we see...Schools normally hold a festival around this time of year to celebrate Culture Day. Each class gets to do something different, like a booth or something, to help out with making the festival fun." "Yeah and every year we get something lame." Maka muttered, leaning against Yukina's shoulder with a sigh. Yukina nodded a bit, somewhat understanding what was going on. They never did anything like this back in her private school. They had a fundraiser event in the fall, but it was just a dance and a couple of food caterings. She didn't know exactly how to gauge her reaction to the news of her class doing something for the festival, so she kept her head down and her ears open, curious to see how people would react. (IK, random and quite cliche but I thought this could be something fun to do )

Zeru was glad when the teacher started talking and going on and on about something and then he received a smack to the back of the head. This time Takado was paying attention to him and had even gotten out of his chair to walk over to him and smack him. “What?!” He sneered while rubbing the back of his head, Takado nodded his head to the front of the class and then he looked around the room. “The Cultural festival” Takado reminded him.
Great, the first day on the job and he was already forgetting thing. He quickly stood up clearing his throat “Sumi masen.” Zeru called out after clearing his throat and pushing past his embarrassment. The teacher turned his way with an eye brow raised. “Hai” He called and Zeru held his head up, he couldn’t looked weak in front of his peers not after taking on Student Council President “Gomen Sensei…” he started off and the teacher waved him to the front of the class. Once in the front of the class he turned around to face everyone as did the teacher “For this year’s Cultural festival I thought it only fair that each representative for all the classes and myself choose what each class will be doing. That way no one gets stuck with anything they don’t want to do” Zeru then gave a bow to the class “Gomennasai” he said told everyone and then stood straight up and headed back to his seat.
Zeru was sure he looked pretty stupid at this point to everyone for not mentioning that during the announcements but there was still a lot to do before he was fully in charge of student council. With that he would also be making small changes to get the other students more involved with the school which meant a lot more hours spent on campus for Zeru. When he was finally able to sit down he was not blushing or fidgeting. Zeru was more stoic then ever at this moment, he wanted to show the other students that he was right for this job and that he wasn’t going to screw it up and make life horrible for them. To do that he needed to look like he had everything under control and wasn’t losing it on the inside.

It was obvious the class was surprised by Zeru suddenly standing up since he was mostly quiet in class, but when he spoke about his plan for the festival everyone listened intently. It was easy to see they respected his opinion, trusted him in a way. Yukina had to agree with them on that. He just had that kind of air about him that made him likeable and personality that made him reliable. She couldn't help but be drawn into it herself. "Alright, then its settled. We'll decide the class rep at the end of today. For now open your books to page 131." The teacher said but most of the students were talking about ideas for the festival. "That was a good idea." Sayuri said, sounding a bit more enthusiastic about the festival. Even Maka smiled. "I know right? But who would be the class rep?" The people that sat around them looked at one another but no one seemed like they wanted to volunteer. Class reps were usually in charge of organzing everything for the class and their presentation for the festival. It was stressful job if someone didn't do it right. Yukina looked over Maka and Sayuri, her eyebrow raising. "Why don't you be it Maka?" Maka gave a shake of her head. "Nah, too much work. And besides I have tennis after school. Sayuri?" Sayuri gave a shrug. "I could give it a shot. " She said but didn't seem too enthused. Yukina on the other hand was curious about all of this. A school festival sounded like fun and something new for her to see. She opened her book and gave Sayuri a glance. "Well you have all day to decide. Perhaps someone else might volunteer." She said though she wasn't quite sure.

Zeru was glad that the teacher quickly changed the subject cause then he could breath. He pulled out his book and flipped to the page that the teacher had asked for. Then he dove into taking notes but it was harder then he figured it would be. His eyes kept popping up to the back of Yuki's head and had so many thoughts running through is head. Zeru sighed lightly trying not to draw attention to himself.
He listened to some of the conversations going around the classroom but one in particular caught his interest. Yuki and her friends were talking about volunteering to be class rep though Zeru couldn't figure why Yuki wouldn't speak up and say she should run. That got Zeru's mind working as he pulled out a piece of paper from his note book.
Once his note was written he got out of his seat with one of his pencils and slowly as if without purpose walked by Yuki's desk slipping the note under her arm and then to the front of the class where the pencil sharpener was. Zeru stood there a moment sharpening a pretty much already sharp pencil and then walked back to his seat.
As he sat down he quickly did a scan of the classroom hoping that the other students didn't see his little stunt. When he was satisfied that no one seemed to notice he turned his eyes downward at his paper till he felt something hit his forehead. He slowly looked up and sat Takado glaring at him 'Smooth genius but did you really think you could get something past Takado' Jett finally popped up and he slightly rolled his eyes. Zeru gave Takado a cheesy smile and saw him shake his head before turning back to his paper 'Getting way over your head there prince charming' 'Jett, seriously. If you don't have anything productive to say then please for the love of all that's decent SHUT UP!' Zeru screamed in his head.

"Do you even get any of this?" Sayuri asked but Yukina was in a daze. She quickly snapped out of it when Maka gave her a tap with her pencil on her arm. "Pay attention space cadette." She said and Yukina gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry I'm just a bit preoccupied...what now did you need help with?" had been talking with Sayuri when Zeru walked by. She felt softing against her elbow and looked over at it. It was a note. She slid it infront of her careful to make sure her friends didn't notice and opened it. She blinked, recognizing the handwrting instantly. It was from Zeru. For some reason that brought a small flutter to her stomach, one that she quickly tried to quell so that she could read it. She glanced at Zeru for a moment before returning her eyes to the note with a small smile as she read it over. He seemed concerned why she wasn't running for class rep. At first that surprised her but as she read on she found herself blushing a bit. So this was a matter of spending time together and getting to talk more freely? She made herself be a little less concerned about the part about getting in trouble and more about the fact he stilll wanted to be around her, even after saturday's mishap. She couldn't help how relieved that made her. for one reason or another, having Zeru ignore her felt wrong. But the fact of the matter was, did she want to do this? She looked at her options. Either say no and make up some excuse, though valid since she was new to most Japanese culture, about why she couldn't. Or she could be honest with herself and say that she actually did want to give the position a try, not only because she was curious about it but because she actually liked the idea of spending time with him. She hardly understood her logic, so she looked to Maka with an inquisitive look. "What if I volunteered for class rep?" She wasn't surprised when Maka raised a brow at her. "Eh, but Yuki, you don't know the first thing about the Culture Festival." "True but I could learn. And besides, it doesn't look like anyone is jumping out of their seat to volunteer." Maka gave a shrugged before Sayuri nodded. "Go for it, I'll back you up." Yukina gave the two a smile, her first genuine one all day and wrote her response bellow his. Now just the issue of getting it to him. She looked around for an idea and then noticed her notes from fridays class. They were old notes and not important for today and if she remembered correctly Zeru had left class early that day to talk with the principal. He would need those notes later...right? She place the note behind her class note sheet, scribbling a small note on the bottom of the note sheet in red, before passing them to Maka. "Hey, could you pass this along to Keiichirou-san. He asked me for the notes he missed on Friday earlier but I forgot to hand them to him before class." Maka gave her a small look before she took the notes and passed them to the guy net to her who then passed it to Zeru. Yukina knew at first he might be confused at first but the red ink at the bottom of the page would catch his eye, it read 'check the back' which lead to the note with her response. 'I could give it a try. It could be fun.' She wasn't being specific on just what might be fun, the position for the festival or the chance to get to know him better. She left that up to him to decide and assume since she was still unsure what his motivation was to speak with her after he admitted to usually keeping people at a distance. "So since when did you start talking to Zeru-san?" Maka asked and Yukina gave her a small shrug. "He lives nearby and we just kind of ran into each other on the first day back to class after the winter break." She meant that quite literally which was unknown to Maka. Zeru saved her that day from that freak beam falling accident but she left out the part of paying him forward only two days ago. She felt that it wasn't the right thing to do to tell people about him being injured badly. It might cause problems for him.

Zeru had been half paying attention to the class and the other half he was having it out with Jett. The guy just wasn't going to give up on getting his body and for some reason when ever he was near Yuki Jett just go worse. He rested his head in his hand staring off into space barely listening to the teacher. Though it was odd when he got some papers passed to him. He gazed down at the papers and was confused when he noticed that they were notes. Why would he need these? Zeru always kept fantastic notes and as his eyes drifted downwards he noticed something weird.
He flipped through the papers and noticed a note. He looked around for a second and then paper to the paper. Zeru read it over and smiled a little but then filed the notes with his other papers and stuffed it into his backpack. He glanced up at the clock just as the bell had rung "Alright class. Before you leave for lunch I want you to place your opinion in this box of who you would like for class rep to be" he announced and Zeru just picked up his things and started for the door. Since he couldn't participate in the voting process or run he didn't really have to stick around.

When the bell rang the girls turned around and started talking with one another over who they would vote for. "I don't want to do it." One girl said and the one next to her nodded. "Yeah, it's too much work. You have to make everyone get along and agree." The girl looked at Sayuri. "You said you would run, right Mihiya-san?" Sayuri shrugged. "If no one else will do it..." She looked at Yukina who cleared her throat a bit. "I could do it...if that's okay with everyone?" The girls looked at Yukina and most gave her unsure looks. "The American?" One girl said and Yukina gave her a small look. "Are you sure? I mean, do you know how to handle all of this?" "She can learn." Maka said and Sayuri nodded. "It'll be fin. she's a quick learner and her schedual is free enough." Yukina saw that the girls were begining to agree. They all got to their feet to leave class and place their votes. Yukina wasn't sure who they would pick but she hoped they could trust in her. She would do her best as class rep and become better if need be. After all she hated disappointing people. Also disapointing Zeru was something that she didn't want to do. She placed a vote in for Sayuri just to mess with her and followed them out the door. It was a time to relax and think things through a little more, seeing as she had yet to untangel the mess she had going on with her family.

The boys quickly placed their votes, though they really didn't care who was class rep since they talked to Zeru everyday and he usually listened to their ideas. Well he listened to one person and that was Takado cause he was the one that made the most since a lot of the time. After doing that they caught up with Zeru just before the doors to the quad. "Hey running away are you" Kojim came up behind Zeru and slung an arm around his shoulders even though he was at least a few inches shorted them him.
"Not really. Just going outside for some fresh air before I had to the Student Council room. My schedule is going to be changing quite a bit now since I took the position" he explained as he roomed his friends arm and walked out the doors with the guys right behind him. "Well it looks like your new little fan is going to run for class rep...now that wouldn't have anything to do with you...would it Zeru?" Takado took his place next to Zeru as they walked further out into the quad. "Nope" he responded and could hear Jett snickering in the back of his head. "So then what was with the note you passed her?" Kojim asked coming up on Zeru's other side and he could see Takado's expression change with out even having to see his face. "Nothing. I just asked her for some school notes that I missed" "And you couldn't get them from one of us?" Takado sneered "Hey you guys take kind of crappy notes sometimes and I figured that she is new so she would be taking very strict note" he shrugged and kept walking and the guys finally dropped it when they sat down at the benches across the quad.

Yukina left class with her friends, her mind buzzing with all that was going on. She was having trouble sorting it all out to be honest, what with the family, her dancing, and now school. She gave a small sigh, while Sayuri and Maka prattled off on the topic of meeting up one day after school. Something about studying for a test in math. "I don't see why not." Yukina said as she examined her phone. She didn't know quite why but she had a call from Takano of all people...She closed the phone quickly and shoved it into her pocket. She really didn't want to have anything to do with her father's assistant at the moment. Maka noticed her worried look and took her hand to pull her over to their usual spot. "Here you mentioned wanting to see the sakura's right?" Yukina was surprised at first but then smiled when she realized Maka was trying to make her feel better. "Alright." She said simply with a smile and Sayuri grinned. "Okay but tomorrow we'll go sit somewhere better. There's too much sunshine the-" Sayuri was cut off when she ran into someone and quickly she looked back to apologize. "Sorry-" "Oi, watch where you're going." A rather annoyed voice said and Yukina looked over at the person. Her jaw went slack and almost fell open. It was Ichiro, Ayame's son. Her half brother. He was in the school's uniform, but was obviously from a grade bellow her perhaps one year lower, like Ayame had said. But the face he had full of complete contempt for Sayuri as he dusted off his shirt made him look eons older. He noticed Yukina and turned that cold glare on her. She flinched and suddenly he gave her a half smirk. "Ah, the American...why am I not surprised." He looked away and walked off with his firends. Sayuri looked positively pissed while Maka tried to calm her and Yukina down. Yukina felt like her heart had leapt into her throat at the sight of him. He really did look just like their father....'His father' She could almost hear Ayame correcting her but quickly shoved the thought away. "What is that kids problem?! I swear some of these men think they're so cool just because they're in a private highschool." She stuck her tongue out at his back and looked to Yukina who was trying to compose herself. "You know that jerk?" Maka asked in shock and Yukina gave a small shrug. "Just....acquaintances...our families know each other." She said vaguely but the girls let it drop. Instead Sayuri went back to talking about better spots to sit for lunch while Yukina and Maka enjoyed lunches.

Lunch didn’t last quite as long as Zeru would have liked it to be “See you guys later” he called to his group as they headed off to their next class and he headed to the student council room. Today was one day closer to him taking over and things still weren’t under control. Jett was becoming more and more restless with each day which still confused Zeru. Jett had never been this strong before and for some reason he seemed to be extra annoying with each passing hour, he was also more adamant about getting Zeru’s body ‘That’s right little Zeru. Soon I will be your only choice for salvation’ Jett snickered and Zeru really just wanted to take him by his throat and dangle him in the air, unfortunately he couldn’t so he just ignored him as much as he could.
“Good afternoon Keiichirou-san” He heard someone call the moment he walked into the room and then a chores of greetings sounded. He nodded his head and returned the greeting but wasn’t sure how convincing his smiles were. But no one mentioned anything in his behavior and he continued onto the back room where Satonaka was. “Good afternoon Satonaka-san” Satonaka looked up for a brief moment then back down at some papers “Afternoon Keiichirou-san” well there was at least a little more respect between the two now but Zeru wondered how long that was going to last “Please take a seat and I will walk you through what is going on right now”
