It was magnificent, her blood felt so good on his throat and his body wanted more. He dug his fangs in as far as he could, his eyes fluttering closed watching as memories flooded his head. But he couldn't figure out how he was seeing this or who's they were, he just drank to his fill which seemed no where in sight. But just as he was starting to enjoy this he felt himself being ripped from the wonderful blood. He felt a weight on top of him but he didn't need any breath, he laid there staring up at the ceiling feeling wonderful. He was enjoying every second that his body absorbed her blood and he could feel himself craving more already. He had to have more, Zero pushed Jordan off of him and tried to get to his feet to get what he wanted but strong arms wrapped themselves around his arms yanking him back to the ground. "I don't think so Zero. You are going to stay right here till you calm down and adjust" he hissed at him but Zero didn't fight back.
Jordan then looked up at the girl when he was asked a question and cocked his head to the side. Had Zero not told her? How much time had these two actually spent together? Those were questions that needed to be answered but the girl looked worn now from the blood drain that Zero did to her. "My name is Jordan, I have been Zero's roommate since the day he came here. I was to watch over him and make sure that he kept to the rules" he told her as if she should already know this. "Yes only a week, now if you'll excuse us I have to get him back to our room before he attacks you and takes the rest of your blood" Jordan turned his attention back to Zero and got behind him. Then he wrapped an arm around his neck and forced one of his arms behind his back "We can do this the easy way Zero or you can fight me the whole way and I can beat the crap out of you all the while taking every ounce of your energy and emotions till you are a shell" Zero started laughing maniacally with an evil grin on his face "I'd like to see you try Jordan. You have no idea how good I feel right now, and with the added help from Alyss I bet you I can do anything right now" he continued to laugh but Jordan kept pushing him out the door and kicking him in the back to get him to do what he wanted. "He'll have to see you later Alyss, sorry" Jordan said before he got Zero out of the room and on their way to the room.

What the hell just happened here? Dazed Alyss sat on the floor as she watched Jordan drag Zero away. Something was going on here, and she intended on finding out exactly what it was. Until then, there was only thing left for her to do. She pulled herself off the floor, dusted her clothes off, and made her way to the dining hall. She didn't loose that much blood, but she lost enough to work up a ravenous appetite.

Zero fought Jordan the whole way to their room and it was fun because for once Zero could actually fight back and kick the crap out of Jordan. Though to him it was all in fun because he was feeling like himself, something he hadn't been able to do in hundreds of years. He even laughed a little as Jordan shoved him into the room and closed the door quickly, locking it into place "Sit" Jordan demanded of Zero but he didn't. Zero stood there and started bouncing back and forth from one foot to another. "One week. You only had one week to go and you broke. You would have won and been free. You could have shown them that you could handle it but you failed, you took blood and not just from anyone but from a psych vampire student" Jordan exclaimed and some light came to Zero's eyes, like he was just realizing what was going on. "I couldn't help it. She just slit her wrist and put it in front of me and your guy's blood...it even looked amazing. Come on give me credit, I sat there for a good while with it in my face not doing a think but she wouldn't take it away. She wouldn't understand, I don't know what it is about her but she is just so..." he breathed out and landed on his back on his bed staring up at the ceiling. No matter what Jordan told him nothing could bring him down from this high except riding it out. Jordan leaned against the door with his arms crossed just watching him.

Two nights later Alyss found herself sitting in the dining hall surrounded by students who were busy trying to pretend that she didn't exist, which was perfectly ok with her. After she got into a particularly nasty argument with a student who tried to befriend her by asking a million questions, the others thought it'd be best to just stay away and pretend she wasn't there. For the most part they treated her as if she was just a solid block of air that took up space. Just the way she liked it.
This time Alyss wasn't trying to stay away from Zero. She planned to ask him exactly what happened the other day, even if she had to force it from him. They were bound to run into each other just like they had on all of those other occasions. It was simply a matter of time. For now, she just sat at the table, sipping a cup of black coffee and staring down at her music book as she worked on writing another composition.

It had been a fun time stuck in the room with Jordan, he didn't have to go to classes just sit there and talk to Jordan till he pronounced him ok to go back out and wander the school. All the while he was bouncing all over the room, working out and just feeling like himself again. It had taken Zero two nights to convince Jordan that he was ok but once he had he got cleaned up and Jordan watching him the whole time. "I'm ok, I swear Jordan" he said and he just nodded his head like he didn't believe him. "Don't give me that, I can feel what you are give off and as weird as that is for me it makes things all the better" he told him when he finally walked out of the door. His hair slicked back and out of his face instead of in it's usually messy look and his face actually had a bit of color back to it. His eyes were bright and life like for once instead of being glazed over.
One thing that Zero never thought that he would do again was go to the dinning hall. He walked into the dinning hall and a mess of whispers followed him and he could hear everyone of them as if they were being shouted in his face. But it only put a smile on his face, a smile that had never been there. He never smiled, not for any emotion but he didn't care anymore. The dean had already come down to talk to him and Jordan put his neck on the line as he put it for him. Right now he didn't care about anyone or anything around him, he was walking proud and tall as he had 400 years ago. He wasn't really there to get blood cause the blood that Alyss had given him would last him for months but still he walked through the mess hall with his head held high and all watching him. 'That's right. Stare, whisper cause you wish that you were me' he thought to himself.

She was so absorbed with writing another song that if Zero walked right past her a few days ago she wouldn't have noticed, but now.... she could actually feel his approach. How weird was that? It never happened to her before, not once. The doors opened and she didn't need to look away from her music sheet to know who it was. At the whispers she glanced up like all the others, and what she saw astounded her. Even from this distance she could feel the confidence radiating off him, like heat from the sun. For once his hair wasn't hiding his face, and his back was so straight he could have passed for a military man.
Alyss quickly gulped down the last of her coffee, shoved her papers into her bag, and approached Zero with all the grace only an 800-year-old vampire could have. Yes, she lied to him about her age. She lied to everyone about her age, actually. No need for them to know that she was older and more powerful then she appeared to be, but by the looks of it Zero probably knew that by now. "We need to talk,"
Alyss said as she stopped, the hem of her dress swishing elegantly above her knees. [/blockquote]

With all the new confidence that he had Zero just glanced off to the side to see Alyss there, he stopped but it wasn't abrupt it was just as fluid as when he first walked in. He turned to her slowly being rewarded with more high pitched whispers. He could tell even before all the whispers that everyone was wondering who this new person was, but they would find out that he had been here all along and long then most here. The smile still in place on his face he looked at Alyss, for once standing at his full height that was well above hers. "Sure milady" he said, a small accent coming through as he bowed his head as he had for year. An old habit of his from before his days as a vampire, that and he thought that it was polite and respectful to show that act. "Where would you like to talk?" His words flowed smoothly and not in whispers as they had before. It was as if he was reborn again and this time he was going to let it go.

Alyss had never seen this side of Zero before, It worried her... but she also liked the new confidence. "Just... follow me."
She glanced at the students, all of whom were staring at the two of them but trying not to make it obvious. It was clear they were hanging on their every word. She didn't want to give a location in case one of them would decide to follow, so she turned and walked out the doors. She didn't stop to see if he was following as she walked out the main doors and into the woods surrounding the school. [/blockquote]

Zero's smile got a little bigger, he was enjoying the attention that he knew he would never have gotten if it wasn't for Alyss' blood. He remember to thank her for that once she stopped walking. But with one last look at the mess hall he turned around and followed Alyss to the woods that surrounded the school, a place he had come often cause that was as far as he was allowed to go before but now he wanted to run past the woods and just have fun. He was actually a patient person so he could walk to where ever she wanted but he was also curious as to what she wanted to talk about. But some of the emotions coming off her answered parts of his curiosity but only words were give him all the answers he wanted. He picked up his pace a little so he was walking beside her and then leaned down to her ear but never losing his pace "Where are we going love?" He ask softly so he wouldn't burst her ear drum but that was really the only reason. He didn't care if others followed or stuck there noise in his business he would just teach them a lesson about privacy and he was actually looking forward to that.

was all she replied. If she was surprised by the way he whispered in her ear she didn't show it, although the way his breath tickled her cheek would have caused her to blush. Soon the woods thinned out, but Alyss didn't stop until they reached the lake where she had seen Zero for the first time. She turned around to face him as she tried to hide her displeasure of having to look up at him. Alyss wasn't short, but she wasn't the tallest person either. "What the hell happened back there?" She demanded. "I gave you my blood because I thought you were going to die.... but it seems that was a mistake. You should have taken someone else's blood, blood that was more diluted then mine. So start talking. What was you friend talking about? One more week until what?" Despite the height difference and how fragile her body looked compared to his, she managed to look intimidating. [/blockquote]

"Ok" he stated simply and just kept following her, not the spot that he thought they were going but the lake was still beautiful. Maybe he would take her to the top of the bell tower soon, unless she didn't want to but either way it didn't matter to him. Though when they stopped and she turned to him with a look of anger in her eyes he stepped back a little. Why was she angry? Right now was a wonderful time and she should be enjoying it like he was. "Back where? And I tried to refuse you but you wouldn't listen to me" he said, no anger or accusation in his voice. Just a statement of the facts. "I was going to die. I thought that I could handle the deal but I was wrong and right now that doesn't even matter anymore. They can do what ever to me that they want to but I doubt they'll be able to stop me from doing what I want to do now" he said with a giggle of pleasure in his voice. "Is that really why we had to come all the way out here?" He asked her with a curious expression. Even with all the good feelings he still kept some emotions locked away deep inside his heart but other emotions were easier to show now.

All his explanation did was leave her with more questions then answers, which started to spark her short temper. "How the hell was I supposed to listen to you when you were too weak to speak?"
she countered. Alyss wouldn't admit this to anyone, not even herself, but the real reason why she was so angry was because his words confirmed what she knew - that he would have died if it wasn't for blood. And that scared her. She didn't know why, but it did. She took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself, then she reached up and rested her palm on the side of his face. "We had to come all the way out here because I knew you would have died without my blood. What deal did you make? Please tell me." She brought her other hand up and caressed his hair. Maybe if she tried showing him compassion instead of anger, he'd tell her what she wanted to know. [/blockquote]

Her concern was washing over him and it felt great, he never had anyone be concerned for him but still the fact was that she didn't need to be. They had just met and thankful as he was now for her blood part of him knew that he could have lived without her blood. But him saying that he needed her made her feel something. Then she touched him and now he could feel more then just her touch, he felt what she was giving him and it made it hard for him to keep himself contained. Is this what psych vampires felt everyday? If so then he wanted it to continue. "Mmm..." he closed his eyes and focused on her hand in his hair and on his cheek but that didn't last as long as he wanted cause of her question. The deal was something that wasn't suppose to be talked of but he just couldn't stop cause the time was nearing, Zero opened his eyes and looked into hers. "The deal was something I had to make 700 years ago if I wanted to continue living my vampire life and it came at a very steep price" he answered still jumping around the full answer.

She knew that he was trying to find a way to answer her question without giving her an actual answer. It probably would have worked on anyone else, but not on her. "What kind of deal was it?"
Alyss asked again. She kept her hands on his face and in his hear, but time she leaned in a bit closer so that her lips brushed his neck as she spoke. "What price did you have to pay?" She knew he was just as enthralled by her touch like she was to his, but it pained her to manipulate him like this. She wanted to know the answer. Needed to know the answer. And if this was what she had to then so be it. Alyss felt a bit of guilt, but there was nothing that could be done. If he told her she would no longer need to manipulate him like this. If he told her, she could loose herself in his touch, but right now she needed to concentrate. [/blockquote]

He cleared his throat trying to remember the answer to her question but still remember why he shouldn't tell her. He may be new to this new aspect of being a vampire but he was by no means new to the vampire life, he knew what she was doing and let he do it cause no one had touched him like this since his early days. "The deal…why do u need to know that?" Even now since the deal was broken he still didn't want to talk about it. He needed a way out of this or he was just going to break down and spill his guts to her. He lifted his hands to rest on hers as his eyes glazed over some but before he could completely lose himself in her touch he made her remove her hands.
He turned his head, someone was coming their way and he didn't want anyone to think that there was anything g between them. He didn't want someone else that he knew and possibly had more of a connect with to be used agains him again. "Zero!" He heard an excited voice and then he saw the person walking up "I found a loop hole" the guy called to him. Zero turned back to Alyss "I'm sorry but we'll have to continue his discussion another…when I have more freedom to speak my mind. But trust me I will answer your question and actually answer it if this news that Jordan has for me helps" he told her and then places a kiss on her cheek before Jordan got all the way to them.
Zero walked up to Jordan and slapped him on the back "so what's this about a loop hole?" He asked as he turned Jordan away from the lake "well I was going over the hard copy of the deal and found something you are going to love" they continued talking as thy walked back to their room.
