He was surprised that she stopped him, she wanted him to take her on a date. That was confusing as hell but he would take it, if she still wanted to be around him that was a good sign but he wasn't going to take it for granted because if she left him then he wouldn't ever be getting out of this place. "Well how about both?" He said turning to her but kept his stare towards the ground. His mood was still down but it was getting a little better. He had never had anyone that he could confide in except for Jordan but Jordan already knew about the deal. He leaned in to her cause this next part was confidential "But if you want to know of the deal you have to come back with me to my room"

"Both? Well.... if you do both, then consider yourself redeemed."
She knew he was still feeling down, but she didn't know how to cheer him up. All she knew was that for some strange reason, she WANTED to cheer him up. She disliked seeing him in any mood that wasn't happy. At his words, she raised an eyebrow. "Already? At least take me out to dinner first." Alyss knew that wasn't the way he meant it, but with the way he leaned in like it was some big secret she couldn't help but say it. Zero backed off a little bit to look at her, seeing if she was being serious "A...no, I mean...I wasn't trying to...I hope you know I'm more of a gentleman then that..." he stumbled over his words, his face becoming a bit red again but if he kept that up he was going to need to feed again and soon. "I...it's just that, it's very sensitive information and telling you out here with so many eyes and ears on us isn't good" he looked around again just to make sure they were still alone but he knew that Jordan had to be in the area some where. He was like a little brother, always wanting to keep an eye on him to make sure he was doing alright. "But I would love to take you to dinner milady, if you will have me?" He said, his accent coming through once again and he bowed his head again. He wondered if that bothered her any cause she hadn't said anything about it. But that could mean all kinds of things and he wondered what she thought of how he acted.

Alyss crossed her arms as an annoyed look crossed her face, but then she laughed. "I know you didn't mean it like that. I'm just teasing you."
Ok, so maybe it was a bad move to make but she thought it was funny. "Well.... if you insist. I would be honor to go to dinner with you. And if you're sure your room is a more secure location, then let's go." She noticed his accent a while ago, but she was so busy pestering him with questions that she didn't think he would be in the mood to answer any more. One day she'd ask him about the accent, but not tonight. Not while she was trying to figure out was was so important about this 'deal' he made. [/blockquote]

He wasn't use to being teased so he didn't know when he was being teased and this further embarrassed him. He was a far cry from the suave dark stranger that he use to be, the person that he was trying to get back to and it was a lot more work then he had anticipated it to be. "Alright, follow me" he said and started to lead the way, but this time he was more cautious of who saw him. He didn't want anyone to stop him in the halls and start asking questions cause right now he just wanted to be alone with the girl that could set him free.
Zero walked down the hallways staying close to Alyss but making sure that he took the back hallways. He walked down a couple flights of stairs and up to his bedroom door. He unlocked it and then held the door open for her "Lady's first" he said holding out his arm for her to walk in first "My bed is the one on the left if you would like to sit there or you can sit in the desk chair. It's your choice" he told her, wanting her to be comfortable with this and know that he wasn't going to do anything to her.

She followed him down all the back hallways and down the stairs. It annoyed her that it felt as if he didn't want to be seen with her, but she did her best to hide her irritation. Alyss didn't like people bothering her with their stupid questions, but she didn't why she had to stay a secret. Wordlessly she drifted past him into the room and took a seat at the desk chair. Better not to invade his personal space. Alyss glanced at him before setting her book on his desk. Looks like she wasn't going to get the chance to finish the book after all. It was already getting late. Daylight was only an hour away. Patiently she sat in silence as she waited for him to collect his thoughts. It wasn't her turn to say anything, not yet.

He finally walked in and closed the door, the only one that would walk in would be Jordan but he would be ok since he already knew and already knew what Zero was trying to pull. He sat on the bed and stared at the ground for a minute. In his room he didn't have to worry about the sun cause there were no windows in his room, it paid to have a room in the basement of the school but sometimes it made him feel trapped which was why he was put in this room. He was meant to feel like a prisoner cause that was what he was. Zero finally looked up at her with his thoughts gathered "Alright the thing is I am...well lets just say a really old vampire..." That was better then telling her his real age because then that made him feel really old "But about 500 or so years ago I got into some trouble. I pretty much started a vampire hunt on myself. I was relatively new to the life and got into some bad shit, I fled the town I was born...twice cause I could not hide. I found this place but news had traveled fast and the "higher ups" didn't want vampire hunters to come here so I struck a deal with them. Which is how the 'deal' came to be. We made a deal that if they gave me a place to stay, food and whatever else I needed I would be forever in their debt but they took it to a level I never thought they were smart enough to figure out..." He had to take a breath cause in his mind his heart was beating a mile a minute though he knew that his heart hadn't beat in forever. "But they were so their end was that if they agreed to the terms I set then theirs was that I could not feed off anything be it human, vampire or blood bags for a millennium and if I broke those terms then I would become their servant for the rest of my time" He looked away from her now so she could form her own opinion on the matter and to see if she had any questions for him.

Alyss sat in silence as she listen to him explain. Even after he was finished she remained silent. She was speechless, but her mind was reeling with so many questions she didn't know where to start. "So what you're telling me is either become a slave or die?"
Furry quickly filled her. She struggled to keep her voice from shaking with anger as she spoke. "Where do I fit into all of this?" she wondered. Obviously if she didn't have some part in this he wouldn't be telling her these things. [/blockquote]

He was worried that she wasn't going to say anything or that she was just going to walk out of here thinking that he was lying and than that would be even harder to fix than this. But then she began to speak and he was able to 'breath' again but her words were kind of harsh and he wasn't sure if it was directed towards him or not. Zero looked back at her now just so that he could get a feel as to what she was thinking right now more then her words. "Well...pretty much and I made the decision and I have lived with it...until you" he said. Now he got up off the bed and walked the length of the room to the other side. This was the part of the contract that he couldn't tell her about otherwise it would void the loophole 'Well maybe. I've got to talk to Jared about that one but to be on the safe side...' he thought to himself and sighed heavily. "Well that's the thing. I can't really tell you otherwise...well I'm not sure about the consequence but let's just say that if you play your part and this happens to work then you will have set me free" he said still staring at the opposite wall from her. "If you want you can leave...I will understand if this is too much for you" he had to at least give her a way out if she wanted it. That just meant his eternal servitude but for her he would do it. He hadn't had something to actually fight for in a long time and it felt good.
