Adriaticus stayed out of the way, mostly to avoid annoying himself with human politics. That and he was considering exactly how his plans would play out. He wanted to help his son, but the introduction of this Nereid in the mix made things hard. Would she challenge him or would he be forced to make a deal in response? He leaned against the rail as they docked, watching the subtle changes in the captain and smelling something thick in the air. She was plotting something and didn’t quite like this half-breed being on her. He wondered a moment if she would let him take a few materials from the creature for potions and curses later if and when she killed the creature. It was far fetched but materials were hard to come by when you weren’t at war at the moment with any creatures of the sea and half-breeds were an odd commodity since they were so forbidden. He blinked slowly when he saw them leave, having a feeling that that was the last time he would see the fish alive...His bright green eyes flicked to Fox as she approached and he moved to a more stable posture should she try and harm him. He didn’t get a hostile vibe from her, but he was not playing games. That and he didn’t know what his son told this creature about him. When she began speaking about Anna killing the half-breed and charging Fox with slaughtering those still loyal to it, he looked unmoved by it and simply nodded. It wasn’t his job to meddle in her affairs or the captain’s as long as they got from point A to B. He smiled some and gave Fox a raise of his brow. “I suppose you’re telling me because she didn’t wish me to be unaware. The half-breed is stupid if he can’t sense she is going to kill it...though the crew may be a bit harder since they may scatter like rats when their leader disappears. Would you like help?” He asked since he was sure the woman had it but he wouldn't be a good ally if he didn't offer to help.

What happened with in a few seconds was interesting, and Anna had seen it a few times, but it was still odd. Niyol’s body was frozen- a blue hue to the skin as a light frost stayed on his skin. Palu moves forward and touched the creatures lips lightly and after a moment pulled his finger away- a silvery whips following his finger. The creature ate the soul and let out a satisfied sigh. “ that my friend was excellent.” He said before waving a hand past the body and unfroze it- making it hit the floor dead. She giggled, feeling her aggression disappearing since it’s cause was now gone. “ Palu, the payment was made. Now I have a few questions...” She Stated before she began with what she just bought. ——— Akitaia gave him a smile and a nod,” only if you feel up to it.” She said before closing her eyes, as she opened them her eyes were dialated to an almost full black... —— The ship had twelve less crew members when they were done- though they were easily replaced. It was about mid day when Anna came back to the ship a smirk on her lips. “ oh? And where is the chew toy?” She asked loudly to anna who turned to look at her. “ he is still in the cave. If you- or Adriaticus wishes his ‘company’ Feel free.” She said more in a joking tone before letting out a sigh. “ I see we need some new crew, easily done. “ Sam- Maresol- go get more.” She Stated since it seemed Fox had kept Maresol down bellow when she began- smart.

Adriaticus stood on the deck with Fox awaiting Anna's return, though he was busy cleaning the blood from under his nails. He was pleasantly sated by the little game of cat and mouse with the crew, especially since it allowed him to cause a few to combust and drive a few others to madness. Small curses sure, but when you had the power of the sea at your fingertips he didn't waste his talents. He listened to the exchange and gave some thought. "You smell like the essence of death...You really are a fascinating woman."He said to Anna since he could sense the creatures aura on her. She had made a deal, the deal staining her aura this black color that he could feel like cold ice water washing over him. When she barked an order to Maresol and Sam, he watched Maresol leave, his eyes narrowing some. Now if only the human would find her way into a creature's maw....He rolled his eyes before looking back to the women he was with. "I take it your contact gave you what you need to ease your worries on this mission?" He asked since he wasn't privvy to what they discussed. ~~~ Ale stood on the deck of the small ship in the late hours of the night, knowing the crew was long asleep and the captain's second was paid handsomely to keep his attention elsewhere. Ale took his hand and gave it a cut, allowing the blood to seep down his forearm in thin bands. "Tell me again why we are speaking to this person. The other covens won't care about what support you have beneath the waves...besides we are the banished folk of our kind are we not?" Brutus asked from his perch on a crate, his head tilted and his expression showing his annoyance. Ale looked from the blood to Brutus with a catty sneer. "The covens of the land have nothing on those under the waves. Besides, if my father is involved then I need extra insurance...Also, I don't trust you as far as I can throw you. If I don't arrive in Porto Prince in one piece, she will know." He said with a airy tone that was light and oddly threatening despite its attempt at being exasperated at having to explain himself. "Now shut up." He began chanting to himself, allowing the blood to drip over the railing, hitting the dark water with not a sound over the waves. Brutus felt a shiver move up his spine as something seemed to be attaching itself to the blood curse and was coming. It made him almost want to slink beneath the ship to avoid it, but he knew it was only his innate sense that this thing was an older, stronger witch. He would stand his ground...if at a distance. He watched Ale stare almost bored at the waves before suddenly a jet of water emerged from the waves, one that hit the deck and forced the boat to rock. Brutus lowered his hands that had gone up to cover his face from the splash. Where the water had been was a woman in a long, tattered looking dress that was a dark blue like the ocean floor. Pink, orange and peach colored scales lined her legs and arms and crept up into a crown-like shape above her brow lines and disappeared under her long powdery pink tresses. Brutus found himself watching her face like a moth to flame at how beautiful she was, but he knew better than to get anywhere near her. She watched Brutus with rather large, innocent looking bright green eyes that made him want to speak to her. However, Ale spoke up, drawing the creature to look at him. "Mother. It's been too long." Brutus raised his brows in surprise at that since the woman looked Ale's age, maybe even give a year or two. Then again, he knew from his own past that their kind attained youth with power and aged very well. "Nerus, my child." She said, drawing close to him to give him a hug. Ale allowed it, but didn't hug the woman back. She pulled away, seeming unfazed by the non-reciprocated action. "I never thought I would see you again. Your father, he's looking for you..." She sounded saddened by that, touching his cheek in what should have been a comforting action. Ale placed a hand on her's as he tried to remain put together infront of his mother. He knew she couldn't be completely trusted, but she was a friendlier, more loyal face than his father... "I know. That's why I need your help. Brutus and I are going to the covens to rally them against Selene...I need you to keep father off us. Away from me." She seemed confused by that and Brutus watched her brow furrow some like a child about to throw a tantrum. "I want that bitch to suffer. He will make her suffer for me, for you, my heart. My pretty, pretty boy...she took your pretty face..." She said as she went back to trying to coddle him but Ale stopped her by grabbing the hand that was trying to smooth his hair from his face. "Mother please...for me. Just stop him till I can get him away from Anna..." She pursed her full lips before nodding. She hugged him again, looking over his shoulder at Brutus. "And the traitor. Can I drown him in his own--?" "No. He's an ally for now. If that changes...well you'll know what to do." Brutus winced as those wide innocent eyes held this evil glint like a predator ready to go into a frenzy. He saw where Ale got his anger from...

At the comment about smelling of death she only gave a sly smirk in response since she didn’t kiss and tell often. When he asked about easing her worries she shook her head lightly, “ I was not worried Adriaticus. Though your slight concern for my humanity and such is noted. Yes my little contract was well made. Palu, the ice creature I can only assume you can sense has given me the information I needed to find your son. Though, it’s not exactly as clean cut as we had originally thought.” She began but decided it was best not speak in front of the crew at the moment.

When the pretty, deadly pink creature disappeared beneath the waves, Brutus gave Ale an unsure look. He didn't see any pain or sadness at seeing his mother leave. He just looked tired, like a man who just wanted to bury himself rather than bother with much more. "Lovely family dynamic...running to your mother to tattle on your father." Ale shot Brutus the bird before walking to the entrance to the bottom of the ship. Brutus smirked, but decided to let Ale know he knew why he went to all that trouble. Even without knowing the older sea witch's past, he knew that family issues were common in sea witch life. None were very close...especially if it drove you out of the ocean for eternity. "All for that captain...odd. You must have a fatalistic taste in women." Ale paused before looking back at Brutus with something that could be placed as sad humor. He gave a Brutus an actual smirk, not a catty or vindictive one, before he retired below deck. "Get some rest Brutus. We dock in Porto Prince in the morning, just in time to meet the others for tea." He joked as the door shut behind him. ~~~ Adriaticus noticed she was being vague and figured it was with the ears around. Though the news about not being worried and him questioning her humanity made him smirk. Ooh, she was being feisty. It was a good look on her and figured it was part of what made his son drawn to her. If he didn't sense her humanity, he would have sworn she had some supernatural in her..."Alright. I believe it was informative and hopefully more informative for us as well later. With less of an audience." He said before looking to Fox. She looked brighter and healthier after all that food. It was a good look on her as well, not that he would say so to disrespect her. "WIth the ship yours, do we have a course?" He asked the two since he was an impatient thing by nature.

Anna chuckled lightly when it seemed Ale’s father was a bit impatient- his words reminding her of Alejandro. “ in a way we do, however it’s a little complicated or so I was told. But we will go Never the less. A Spanish port. But it’s more of a rat hole for these coven members.” She Stated more to let him know she knew where to find the coven- but Ale was still a loose end- one she wished to find before the coven did. “ however my contact told me to wait and perhaps seek out my close ties for information. I don’t quite understand his meaning but then again he isn’t from around these warm waters naturally after all.” She said with a laugh but frowned afterwards. Damn it. The more she thought about it she missed the stupid stubborn sea witch more, even was perhaps a little worried about him.

The tea house in the port town was alive with the conversation that echoed on the stone and towering columns in the indoor courtyard. Women and men of all sizes and walks of life gathered to socialize and enjoy exotic teas and delicacies that made the place radiate a powerful yet pleasant smell. To those on the outside, this looked like an aristocrats haven from the poverty just outside the building's walls. To those on the inside, the place was a gathering spot for something a bit less natural. A blonde sat at a table of three other women and a burly looking man behind her. While she was young in appearance, her youth was shadowed by lines of years of stress and worry were etched into her pale, thin face. She stirred her tea with a precision that was almost rhythmic as she stared down a pair of men entering the courtyard's double doors. They looked worse for wares and hardly up to dress code, but the purpose in their gait and the intensity in their eyes made her refrain from throwing them out. Instead, she watched them with feigning disinterest as they approached her table without invitation. How rude... "Elder Reeva, we are here to discuss a matter of importance with you--" The skinny bearded one with a scar began to prattle to her, but Reeva held up a silencing hand. She glanced at the burly middle eastern man to her right, before jerking her head in their direction. The man rose and took his place by the scarred man, his hand on his pistol as a silent but obvious threat. "First, tell me why you would come into my place of business, Brutus? I made it very clear to my coven that should Selene or her coven ever set foot in my port again, I would have her and her coven flayed and fed to the sirens." Her voice was heavily accented with an eastern European origin that made the edge in her tone that much more forceful. Brutus looked unsure of what to say, so the fairer faced man, the one that looked impatient at best, began to speak. "Elder Reeva, Brutus and I are here to request your aid in eliminating Selene. We saw no better way to ask the second largest coven leader for help than directly." Her eyes widened some at the voice, but a smile crept to her lips that showed a touch of humor. "Nerus, well isn't this a surprise. Praytell what did that old sea hag do to send her lap dog crawling to me?" She saw the slight twitch in Nerus's lips when she called him a dog, but that was what he was. Selene's pet that she dragged from the sea to do the dirty work she couldn't finish herself. He was like a dumb animal yipping and pawing at her heels for any scrap of affection that the heartless creature could off. She watched how Selene degraded her coven members and her "trusted advisors". She was no better than a tyrant and a torturer than an Elder. And this little creature still lived...now he wanted to kill her? Figures...She sat back in her chair, folding her hands in her green satin covered lap. "Why should I involve myself in your mess? I am doing quite well here without a war on my hands. My coven looks to me to lead them...not sign them up for petty squabbles because she broke your heart--what's left of it in a corpse." Her guard moved closer to the men as if he was going to lead them out soon, but Reeva stopped him with a glance. She was interested...it wasn't every day the enemy showed up on your doorstep for aid...if they had something to offer worth her time, she would consider it. After all, she wanted Selene dead as much as the next coven Elder of the land. She had screwed over alot of them that night she rose to power as the strongest Elder, throwing the sea witches into disarray and abandon after many of their coven Elders were massacred by the church. Nerus stared at Reeva before he gave a nod as if confirming something to himself. "Because Selene needs to be stopped before she finishes the ritual. If she gets ahold of me, she will use that power to destroy every coven and bend them to her will. She will control the oceans--the land--Elder Reeva if she succeeds there will be no one left to protect...And ending her could avenge Sasha--" The minute the name left his lips, the guard snatched Ale by his shirt, drawing the gun like he was about to kill Nerus. Brutus launched himself at the guard, but one of the women at the table rose, a dagger at his neck to keep him in place. Reeva sat for a long moment, staring at Nerus but not really seeing him. It had been ages since anyone had mentioned her little brother, the late Elder. The pain that bubbled up even after all that time left her speechless as she replayed watching his public trial and burning by the church members. It lit an old anger in her that she was sure Nerus had meant to stir. That alone should have gotten him killed if she didn't agree with a part of it. She would have done the same had she had that leverage over him. "Release him, Vihaan. Estrella, let the spineless one live." The order rolled through her coven members like a ripple, making the two follow orders almost immediately. The scene went back to normal, despite their guests looking ruffled from the manhandling and threats. "She has all the items then..." She said as she went back to her tea, watching Brutus nod from her lashes. She took a deep breath through her nose before she nodded some. "Alright, I will aid in ending her. But," She looked at Nerus, her stare intent and harsh, "I need your word that if you are captured or compromised that you will end it before she has a chance to complete the ritual. She can't be allowed to take you alive, understood? I will not commit unless I know our cause is a garunteed success. My people will ask for no less..." Nerus tensed at her words, seeming to think on them a long moment. Reeva was just about to call it off, when Nerus suddenly spoke up. "Agreed...If you promise to end her if I do..." Reeva saw something strange in the witch's eyes as he looked away from her, as if his mind wandered to something else or someone else...Reeva rose from her chair, everyone in the room rising with her out of respect. She looked to the men before she motioned to the door. "To my office then. I have birds to send to let our allies know..." She said sweetly, gaining appreciation from the men that she accepted. ~~~ Adriaticus rose a brow at her mention of the creature telling her to seek out old allies. Could he possibly mean his son? She seemed to confirm his thoughts when she gave a sudden frown. Adriaticus wanted to confirm his son was alright as well, but he knew he couldn't guarantee his safety until Selene was dead. Therefore, he was taking this head on and not sparing time on worrying over Nerus. "Allies? Do you have other's to consult? Perhaps my son?" He asked since he was sure the creature had something planned with that to say the least.

Anna shook her head but didn't think it was right to speak quite yet since she was thinking her answer through. She glanced over towards the port again a purse to her lips as she thought about things. "I'm not sure its' some one I know. I will be returning later to ask who or at least where I am going, might help us find Nerus quickly, cant have my favorite witch getting himself into too much trouble with out me." She sounded as if she were teasing near the end since she was always up for a challenge but only if there were benefits in it for her. She took her gaze off the wooden houses and glanced over at Fox who was being patient it seemed. "So your telling me your contract with the ice monster gave you no real answers?" She clarified getting a nod from Anna. She needed a direction and a plan- not this 'just wait a bit' mess. She was worried about Ale- unlike Fox who seemed content with waiting but with the Nereid she was always up for eating something, or killing it, or simply being lazy- it depended on her mood lately. She turned to Adriaticus and gave him a small nod. "I apologize for the delay but Palu, my contact rests during the Zenith of the day so I will have to be patient here. Is there anything in the mean time I can do to accommodate you?" She asked smoothly playing her role as host well.

Adriaticus agreed with the Nereid this time about this Palu character. He offered very little information for a fair trade. At least sea witches kept their agreements...even if they blurred the lines a little. He wanted to make a snippy comment about not liking the idea of just waiting there, but a rumble from the sky made his head snap up to the sky. Dark clouds were rolling in from the south and he could feel the static in the air from the lightning cracking on the clouds. The weather had been clear, the waves still, and yet now the waves rocked the boat lightly, warning of a rougher storm to come. Adriaticus's face tightened at the sight before he gave Anna a rather serious look. "If we must, then so be it. However, I suggest making sure your crew is accounted for and perhaps shoreside for the night. The seas will be rough tonight." He said since this was obviously a curse rolling in. But who would leverage a storm to this port and why? SUrely Selene didn't have this power and this was clearly a targeted attack. It would keep all the ships docked until tomorrow no doubt, something he couldn't avoid..."I will be below deck if you need me. I will see if I can't find my son again." He said, heading below deck to try a curse to get in contact with Nerus. However, no matter how he tried the curse failed time and time again. It bothered him to the point of a furious outburst, one that sent the bloody water into a wall. He glared at the puddle on the floor, knowing this was someone screwing with his spells. He only knew one person that knew how to curb his power due to the bond they formed when she agreed to join him. "I am sorry my love, but I must help Nerus. You understand." Her voice echoed in the room like a soft whistle of the wind, even if she knew he was the only one that could hear it. He gave a snarl of something in a long forgotten language, disappating her connection to him. The boy was smart, he would give him that. His mother's interference bought him time and space for now.... ~~~ Ale watched as the coven members milled about their new ship and got to work getting the ship ready to go. They had enough supplies to make it to Cartagena, Spain easily, but it didn't make the trip any less arduous. After all they had amassed the support of only 3 of the covens he and Brutus had wanted to recruit, but with Reeva's skilled numbers they would be okay. These witches were old, loyal and Reeva was a force to be reckoned with on her own. Selene would have no choice but to face them head-on, just what she wasn't expecting or prepared for. He was standing on the docks next to Brutus of all people, wondering to himself just how this all worked out in their favor. "We did the impossible. Sea witches working together." Brutus joked and Ale gave him a small smirk. "Well, our scorn is stronger than our pride." Ale said since he knew it to be true. Everyone here had a reason to hate Selene and they were willing to work together to see her gone. It was a rather impossible scene, even if it was just a piece of the battle to come. For now, there were more pressing matters to attend to. He looked to Brutus, giving him a small touch to the shoulder. "I am going to fetch Reeva. You keep an eye on things here. I'm sure you're not shy around command." He said since Brutus had always battled him for control under Selene. Brutus gave him a pleased smirk as Ale left back towards the tea house. He made it to the door when he noticed things were quiet...too quiet. No patrons milled about and none of the waiters or servants did either. Why did he not hear Reeva either? He walked towards the back parlor where her office door was, but paused when he saw a dead guard lying in the floor. He quickly whispered a small curse, knowing he was too weak to fight for long but he could probably escape if there weren't too many of them. A witch with a dagger appeared from the shadows on his left and sprung an attack that Ale quickly deflected. He sent the creature into a nearby pillar but couldn't finish the job before another sprang from a doorway nearby. He knocked his way through a few, all the while working his way to Reeva's office till he finally felt the heavy oak door at his back. He forced it open with a fumbling free hand and slammed it shut before the next strike could land. He breathed heavy as he heard the creatures clawing and growling at the door, trying to put himself back together. However a soft, eerie voice caressed his mind as a familiar female spoke to him from somewhere behind him. "Nerus, so nice of you to join us." He whirled around, finding Selene, or at least a corpse with her voice, standing in the center of the room. The dead woman was obviously a temporary substitute, one who's throat had been slit but her pretty face preserved in it's pale, ghastly milky eyed stare. He cringed at the image, especially when he saw she had none other than Reeva cornered by a group of armed guards and Reeva's body guard between her and the men with guns. Reeva looked displeased more than afraid, obviously not having this bullshit this early in the morning. Selene walked her way over to Ale, her smile on her blue lips eerie as the girls heel's clicked sharply against the wood. "I finally found you my pet...how long I've waited to have you again..." She reached out a hand to stroke his cheek but he raised a hand to slap her's away. However before he could move, something compelled him to stop. He stood there frozen, watching as she pulled away her curtain of blonde hair to reveal the lust necklace there. He felt his resolve to harm her seeping from him like an exhale, even though hate burned in his eyes. When his hands fell to his sides limply, Selene gave him a pat on the cheek, the cold, clammy skin making his skin crawl. "My sweet, Don't you wish to return to me? There is no use in running...Don't you want to be together?" Ale felt everything in him wanting to scream no....but this spark in his mind that was growing like a lit ember wanted him to say yes. He wanted her, no he needed her, her alone. She leaned in, grasping his chin tightly as she moved to whisper in his ear. "Give yourself to me again and I promise I will make your end quick and painless." She looked over her shoulder and gave Reeva a dirty look. "And I'll even let your new little whore live." Ale saw the men draw closer to Reeva and he knew he had few choices there. Before the curse of the object took his mind from him, he could sign on to leave and keep Reeva alive to fight another day. Or he could fight this and end their chances of stopping Selene prematurely....Ale gave Selene a long look before he nodded. "Fine." He said, making Reeva hiss something in her native tongue. He knew she was pissed and wouldn't understand, but he couldn't explain this here. He only had a bit of time before the necklace took ahold anyways. "Reeva, I'm sorry. You'll have to travel to the port without me." He said, making Reeva's expression darken. Selene looked confused by it, but she was too impatient to properly find out what it was about. "What does that mean?" Ale stared back at her blankly, making Selene's eyes burn in anger. She hauled off and slapped him hard, making Ale stagger back some into the waiting arms of a pair of guards. "Take him to the brig. As for you Reeva," She looked back at the woman with a haughty smirk, "Don't cross me, or I'll be sure your filthy bloodline end with you and your brother." She hissed before skirting her way from the room.

Anna nodded at the idea of the storm but left it be, taking the advice and handling the crew accordingly. It was pouring rain later but she eventually left to speak with Palu over the information. It was obvious she didn't understand but he had a notion that she would get it sooner or later. "The storm will pass, weather it and Then turn your eyes to a port just up the coast. The path has been set. Go there- meet with your old Allies then happy hunting my child." He stated smoothly making Annaliese frown. She wrote it down anyhow to think of things and began her way back to the inn. She and Fox stayed up a while trying to figure it out however Annaliese had gotten drunk in her frustration and was looking at the paper, getting an attitude with it honestly. "An old ally? I don't know anyone who is an ally anymore? I killed most of them- geez." She said sounding frustrated over it, taking a swig of her wine. Fox smirked at her emotion but let it go since she knew the human well enough. "Couldn't they just be old?" Fox questioned getting a long slow blink from Anna who seemed to be thinking about that. "Maybe. I might not know them but apparently they are allies- so I guess we leave in the morning to find these so called Old allies...what a load of wash." She stated but gave a heavy sigh. "Guess we can only go and find out yes?" Fox hinted since she knew Anna was close to black out drunk- poor human. "Whats really bothering you Anna love?" Fox said using a bit of persuasion to get an answer from the drunk women knowing she was stubborn. "I miss Ale. I'm worried about him- that bitch took my brother, my fort, my ship...and my Sea witch. I am not going to be nice anymore. I want my things back. Well...at least Ale." She stated bluntly making Fox seem humored. The poor human wodin't ever admit that sober, woudn't Nerus be pleased...

Reeva sat on the cargo on the port deck, looking at her watch as she waited for any clue that they had found this ally of Nerus's. He had sent them to Cadiz, stating that this was the only major port between them and Cartagena, Spain where Selene was. He said this ally was also after Selene, that this 'she' was a force to be reckoned with. Too bad he didn't stick around long enough to tell her exactly who the hell this was. He had almost seemed elated at the idea of seeing her... "Are we just going to sit in the heat all damn day?" Reeva looked over at Brutus, her eyes narrowing at the witch sitting on the deck in chains. He was confined by his arms to a pole, as a traitor should be. She wanted to kill him the minute she found him skulking around after Nerus was taken, but she knew she needed him alive to enter Selene's hideout. He was the only one that could navigate that labrynth with the least amount of casualties from her traps. So he would be chained like a dog, for his obvious betrayal. How else would Selene have found them? How else would she have targeted Reeva? Vihaan, her guard, backhanded him over the head, glowering like a shark over meat. "Silence traitor. You don't need a tongue to guide me to Selene." She hissed, which made Brutus huff. "I told you, it was the only way any of us survived this. Nerus knew that--" Another smack shut him up and made Reeva give an irritated glare at the loud mouthed child. He was a traitor that would say anything to save his own skin. Nerus would have never agreed to go willingly with Selene without betrayal or force. She got up, deciding it was best to go back on board and wait where it was cool. "Take him to the brig." She hissed before walking towards the deck. Vihaan reached for Brutus, unlocking him from the pole and reaching for the chain. Before he could grab hold of Brutus, Brutus swung out at Vihaan and knocked him back. It surprised the two enough that Brutus was able to make a run for it into the crowds even with Reeva and Vihaan trailing behind.

The port wasn’t exactly what she had in mind to see however it was where she was supposed to be. A frown on her lips she had Fox examine the crowd as she spoke with Maresol over some things about docking, however she heard fox giggle then jump off the ship onto the dock and sprint off. Much to the ships confusion it was obvious she had a target to catch- not that anna knew what was going on right now. ((You can have Fox catch him or help catch him lol figured it would make him pause lol))

Brutus tore off for every turn, open door, and city alley, making it harder for Reeva and Vihaan to track his movements. He had to lose them, had to get somewhere far before Reeva had a chance to catch him. The bitch was mental and wouldn't believe him. He didn't betray Nerus, just simply did what he had to to be sure they killed Selene this time. He made it past a few crates and barrels when he suddenly hit a quiet road. He breathed heavily as he quickly glanced behind him for any stragglers. No one there. He breathed a sigh of relief, only to lose it when he turned to run again and found a familiar face grinning back at him. "For fucks sake! How the hell did you get here?" He growled, glaring at Fox like she was a demon as he saw the woman actually. She ate his arm off the last time he tangled with her and he wasn't about to repeat that. "L-Look siren, I'm not out to cause you or your ship harm. Just let me go and I'll give you anything. Just--" He pleaded with her, till a voice rose up nearby. "Brutus I will find you and when I do I will skin you for the sharks." Reeva's voice echoed down the alley, letting him know she was close by the time she rounded the corner with the massive man. Brutus turned to run but Fox was already in his path. He swalllowed hard but didn't take his eyes off the evil thing. Reeva approached the pair, her look cautious as she sensed Brutus feared this creature. Funny, it was a pretty thing that looked harmless. But that was always the best disguise for prey. "I have business with the rat. I will compensate you if you hand him over." She told Fox, her sea green eyes glowing with suggestion that she was unsure if it would work on this woman.

Fox smelled this man before and knew who it was and was almost excited to find him again. When he called her a siren she giggled, but didn’t let him slip off, she liked to play with her food after all. Her thoughts were interrupted by another supernatural interrupting them with threats of dismemberment which amused her. He turned to bolt but fox was already in his projected ways ith a grin on her lips, knowing it was messing with him. At the womans’ words And slight show of magic she purses her lips. “I’m afraid I found the rat first. If you would like however you could come speak with my Captain about it? We should be docking here soon, My Captain has business with this rat as well.” She Stated before moving her eyes to Brutus with a grin,” and for the second time witch- I’m not a siren- they are so much weaker then I am.” She said smoothly before moving forward and taking him by the back of his neck- though not in a manner to kill but to hold. Fox turned towards the woman with a smile,” shall we my lady sea witch?” She asked politely clearly not intimidated at all- more a show of how powerful she could be.

Reeva gave the odd creature a funny look when it argued with her. She wasn’t used to people talking back to her and this new situation was a bit strange. How could this person and this captain know about Brutus of all people? Unless...surely this wasn’t the contact Nerus mentioned? Well fate had a funny way of showing itself if she was...She looked at Brutus who looked wholely uncomfortable in Fox’s grip. Before she could respond Vihaad made a move to retrieve Brutus but Reeva put a hand to his arm. She shot him a look then gave the woman a slow nod. “Fine. Though I will be getting my catch back. He owes me and an ally that much before I kill him.” She said looking at Brutus with a sharp look of warning before following Fox to where this captain was.
